An: Tangerinefields asked for a fic about true love. And this happened. Enjoy.

True Love.

Love at first sight. Sirius had never believed in it until now. Lust, yes, desire, certainly, but not love. But this time it was different. There was something mesmerising about her curves. She seemed to gleam and he couldn't stop himself reaching out a hand, stopping just before he touched her.

"Beautiful, ain't she?" The speaker was tall, and lanky with it, a mop of light brown hair half obscuring his eyes. Sirius nodded, still bewildered by his attraction, finally giving in and running a hand over her flank. "She's a right goer," The other man popped the gum he was chewing, before grinning. "Wanna ride?"

"Can I?" Sirius sounded like a small boy who'd just been told he could eat all the chocolate he wanted. If he'd been properly paying attention he would have cursed, realising that all attempts to remain cool had gone out of the window.

"Sure." The sales assistant handed him a set of keys. "Have fun."

Sirius Black had never believed in love at first sight. But when he saw what would be his first motorbike, when he saw Vera, he realised that not only did love at first sight exist, but he'd walked straight into it.
