I don't own: Hetalia, the song, or Alice in Wonderland

First fan fiction for this section, I have like eight or so more lying unfinished in my harddrive, but I'm working on them. This is the first of many. Please review, they make me happy.

Alice Kirkland was as much British as she was a book worm. And among her favorites rested 'Alice in Wonderland' by one Mr. Lewis Carol. Sometimes, in her dreams, she would be at that tea party or standing before the queen of hearts herself. She supposed she loved the nonsense of the place because her own life was linear, logical, boring. Or it was until she met Annabelle Jones. Who was so free spirited she wondered who's good side she had gotten on to meet the girl. One day, Anna asked her, while she had the aforementioned book open in her lap with a cup of peppermint tea being drank at her lips.

"If you where to live in a world of your own creation what would it be like?" Alice had set the cup back on its saucer and regarded Annabelle, she immediately responded with;

"If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense; Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't." Anna had smiled and said

"Then, my dear Alice, I invite you to a world where there is no such thing as time, and every creature lends themselves to change your state of mind."

"I accept your invitation." the almost desperation in her eyes didn't go unnoticed by Annabelle.

'And the girl that chased the rabbit drank the wine and took the pill
Has locked herself in limbo to see how it truly feels

To stand outside your virtue
No one can ever hurt you
Or so they say

Her name is Alice (Alice)
She climbs into the window
Through shapes and shadows
Alice (Alice)
And even though she's dreaming, she knows...'

And take her there she did. A wondrous life of thrills and adventure. But Alice seemed to grow more sporadic and nervous, sometimes becoming panicked for no apparent reason. Anna loved her and knew that Alice did belong in the live they were living. But at what cost to her?

'Sometimes the curiosity can kill the soul but leave the pain
And every ounce of innocence is left inside her brain
And through the looking glass we see she's painfully returned
But now off with her head I fear is everyone's concern

You see there's no real ending
It's only the beginning
Come out and play

Her name is Alice (Alice)
She climbs into to the window
Through shapes and shadows
Alice (Alice)
And even though she's dreaming
She's unlocked the meaning for you'

Alice was hardly coherent enough to recognize the presence of her wife anymore. Anna knew it was time to bring her back home to her old life. But Anna would miss this life of theirs where Alice was the more creative of the two, Alice; who could hold the universe in her hands, and the sun and moon in her eyes. The stars in her hair. Anna took her wife's hand, who recited a Shakespearean sonnet, Anna was an expert and finding the underlying meaning of her wife's words. Alice knew too. Even though she was dreaming, she knew.

"Red knight white knight marching into the fight. Drink me. Shrink me. Fill me to sink me. Red knight white knight Marching into the fight Drink me. Shrink me. Fill me to sink me" was what Anna said back. Her wife smiled and took the lead into the co-pilot's seat of Anna's airplane.

Back home, once again with her wife drinking peppermint tea, and once more with Alice in Wonderland open on her lap. She set her tea down on the saucer.

"And contrariwise what it is it wouldn't be, And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?"
