Abandoned Baby

Chapter 202

The next morning Bless was the first to wake up when the sun rise from the bay windows of her and Drew's room started to shine. She slowly maneuvered in bed and smiled softly at her little boy who came in the previous night from a nightmare and came to cuddle with her and Drew and his hand was on her abdomen and beside him was his daddy who was turned on his side with his head tilted facing Alex, holding him safely around his waist to keep him safe like he promised.

She smiled at her two favorite men in her life and loved spending a quiet moment watching them sleep. She slowly grabbed Alex's hand to kiss it and rubbed his head. "I love you baby." Bless softly murmured to Alex before placing his hand at his side as he slept like a baby before pulling more of the blankets up to his waist to keep him warm.

The young mom got up from bed and stretched before fixing her unruly curls. She yawned softly before gently opening the bedroom door when she smelled the aroma of coffee. She suspected one of the two men (Stu or Stephen) had to be up early since they spent the night at the house to watch movies and they had been spending time with Drew and the kids.

She walked down the spiral staircase and made her way down the livingroom to see Stephen was still out like a light with the throw blanket over him and the other side empty with his blanket tossed to his side neatly so she guessed Stu had to be up since he was usually an early bird.

She shuffled her way to the kitchen to see Stu at the kitchen making coffee and was at the counter also starting breakfast. Bless had to admire the tall Brit being such a good friend doing such a sweet gesture as she watched him getting some pancake mix and other ingredients to start off their morning meal.

"Hi Stu. Good morning." Bless softly greeted her best friend.

The British native smiled when he saw Bless was awake.

"Hey love. Good morning lovely. How did you sleep lastnight?" He asked her as he greeted her good morning.

"Like a baby. Alex had a nightmare last night so he spent the night with his dad and I." Bless mentioned how she slept and what happened.

"Poor little lad. It's good that he has you and Drew to protect him from the bad monsters." The Preston Native felt sympathy for his adopted nephew he grew to love and adore.

"I agree. He and Drew are still upstairs asleep." Bless nodded.

"I made some coffee if you want anything love and I'm making breakfast if you don't mind just to thank you and Drew letting me and Stephen to say the night with you guys. You guys are such great hosts and I'm grateful to have you two as family and the kids that I love so much." Stu let her know and felt blessed to have Bless and Drew as family. Bless was like a little sister to him and he considered the Scot like a little brother he never had and wanted.

"It's not a problem Stu. You know you, Ste, and the guys are always welcomed in our home and we love you guys as family. Even the kids consider you family and treat them as if they were your own including Catherine who totally adores you." Bless told him as she walked over to the coffee pot to get the coffee that was still brewing hot then got a mug from the cupboard to pour the coffee in it before sitting and watching the Preston man do his thing.

"They do huh?" He smiled softly from the counter.

"Yeah they do. You treat Alex, Isabella, and Cat as if they were your own. Drew and I are lucky to have great friends like you two." Bless was equally blessed to have Stu and Stephen as second family and she knew how much they loved spending time with the kids especially when on the road, they spoiled the kids like crazy and got to hang out with them at every chance they got.

"You even treat me and Drew like family." Bless mentioned as she was tracing circles around her mug.

"You two are such a great couple and like family to me too, B. You even adopted me like a big brother eversince we met when Heath and PJ were still around during our NEXUS run and you've officially become the baby sister of the family and became the peace maker of our group. You've made things so easy for us when you worked on the road with us." Stu had to mentioned how he and the guys felt so at ease with Bless since she was the glue that held the family together and she was easy to work with.

"I like working with you guys too and I feel like I've become at ease with you guys too and you guys taught me a lot while working on the road." She even felt the same way working with the guys backstage and she felt like they too were her mentors when it came to working backstage and getting along as a team and later on became close knit.

Stu and Bless bonded the morning away was when the rest of the family had arisen including Stephen. The men of the house did the house chores of the kitchen, cooking, and head to the built in gym which was next door to the pool house later to workout that way Bless could spend time with the kids.

After breakfast, the boys cleaned up and helped do the chores meanwhile Bless was spending time with the kids coloring in the livingroom and Isabella was with them as Bless was doing tummy time with the baby.

"There you go Bella." Bless smiled at her little girl enjoying tummy time on the floor as the little one was crawling slowly using her tummy and arms and her little feet were swinging.

Bless loved every second watching her baby girl trying to crawl on her own. Every milestone felt so special especially with her two other babies who were also growing in front of her eyes.

"Mommy, look, I colored Princess Jasmine." Catherine walked up to her mom showing her talent that she colored in the lines in her coloring book.

"Oh sweetheart. You did such a great job. You could be a little artist one day." Bless was so proud of her oldest admiring her art work.

Catherine lit up with a smile. "Really mama?" The oldest Galloway child asked.

"Yes of course my love. You can be whatever you want to be someday." Bless told her daughter she could be anything she wanted when she was grown up and she would still be proud.

"I love you mommy." Catherine mumbled as she walked over to Bless as her mother hugged and kissed her.

"I love you too sweetheart." Bless kissed the side of her daughter's head before letting her daughter do more of her art work.

She then glanced at Alex who was now finished coloring and moved on to playing with his lego sets and organizing all the pieces together.

"Are you looking at Kuya (big brother), baby?" Bless heard Isabella cooing while looking Alex's way while she was on the floor.

"Yeah he's busy building something." Bless told her youngest who was babbling as Bless picked her up and kissed the top of her head.

Drew soon came in after a long workout and he was showered, smelled fresh of Irish spring soap and Axe cologne.

"Hey lass, Hey baby." Drew greeted the girls with a smile and kissed them.

"Hey hon. Done working out with the guys already?" She asked him as he gave the baby butterfly kisses making her giggle.

"I decided to get my workout done a little early that way we can go out later tonight with the guys and if we can get sitter for the kids."

"I can ask Mama Meera and Carla if they're not busy if they could watch the kids since I'm free to go out tonight with you guys." Bless told her hubby who got the baby from her and was bouncing her on his knee as she was giggling and babbling. Bless couldn't help but smile at the sweet daughter and daddy interaction.

"That's a great idea love. We should have a night out without the kids and at least we could hang out the gang tonight if they're not busy tonight working at the performance center." Bless thought it would be a great idea to have a night out with her hubby and their friends without the kids and it had been a while Bless hadn't gone out since she was always busy at home with the kids and with work on the road she hadn't had any free time to do anything else.

"Has Isabella done tummy time yet, mummy?" Drew asked if she was able to have Isabella do tummy time with their daughter to get her to practice crawling.

"She has and so far it's progress. She can use her arms and legs for now to move herself." Bless reported Isbella's progress on tummy time.

Drew smiled. "You're doing a good job aren't you little love?" The Scot was proud of his youngest that she was trying to learn how to crawl.

During that day, the kids were taking their naps since Drew and Bless put them down to sleep for a little while before sending off to Meera's for the night.

Once the guys finished working out, Bless started making a call to Meera and Carla to see if they could watch the kids for the night while the guys were hanging out on the porch having a pint and talking.

Once Bless got off the phone with Meera, she walked out to the porch where the guys were laughing and talking about off topic stuff.

"Hey hon. Are your sister and Lee busy tonight doing anything? I think your sister deserves a night out with Lee since she had been so busy with school and maybe she can go out with us." Bless suggested to her hubby that she was thinking of her future sister-in-law if they wanted to go out as well since she knew how busy the young Galloway was with schooling and working at the same time.

"Actually love, she and Lee are going out on a date tonight. She called me yesterday to let me know since she's getting off work the next two days to get some rest at the after work at the school." Drew let his wife know what his sibling was up to.

"I'm glad to know your sister is gonna be able to be free to get out. She seemed to be stressed from work the past few days from work so it's nice Lee is taking her out to destress. She needs it."

Drew agreed with his wife. His sibling's mental state was important so he was glad she had a significant other to take her out and get her out of her head space from work. He knew she was dedicated to her job but it took a toll on her as well since she was always busy.

Stu and Stephen exchanged looks between each other at the couple and it was a nice change of pace for them to see their friends interact as if they haven't separated since the last time. It felt like old times and both of them held the family together.

"What time are we leaving tonight to go out guys?" Bless asked the three.

"About six o' clock tonight, darlin'. At least we could get ready early and meet with the gang tonight around eightish or nine and depends who we meet up with." Stu mentioned from his seat next to Stephen.

"Okay." She nodded.

That evening Drew and Bless dropped off the kids with Meera and Carla that way they could watch the kids for the night while the rest of them went out clubbing and just enjoy a night for themselves.
