"Harry? Are you home?" Ariana's voice echoed through the house, slipping her pink flats off of her dainty feet.
"Yeah, I'm here." Harry's reply was full as cheer as he walked into the parlor. "How was school, love?" He smiled, before kissing her cheek.
"Horrible!" Ariana—not being one to avoid any thoughts that pressed against her mind urgently—quickly exclaimed. "I'm so sick of everyone there; I mean who do they think they are?"
"I'm sorry, baby, what happened today?"
"Oh, you know," Her voice held mock casualty. "bitchy sluts thinking they need to know everything about you, winning you over as their wont to only get your trust, before they simply snap everything happy away from you." She cast her eyes downward, before she whispered. "They think I'm a liar, you know."
"What do they think you're lying about, baby?" Harry asked. Quickly, Ariana's eyes filled with tears and she ran from the parlor, thundering up the stairs, no doubt rushing up to her room. Harry heard a loud door slam followed by a slip of the lock. Harry could only sigh, before he followed her path.
"Ari!" Harry's voice sounded somewhat urgent as he called through the physical disconnection, once he had arrived at the wooden door. "What do they think you're lying about? You can tell me anything, you know that right?" He heard her loud sigh, and he felt his heart drop considerably.
"Yeah, baby, I do." Ariana whimpered from the other side.
"Then let me in? Please?" He whispered just loud enough for his voice to reach her ears. Luckily, she couldn't say no to Harry. Slowly, she walked to the door and wearily flipped the lock. She pulled him in, before promptly slamming the door behind him and locking it once more.
"Now tell-" She cut away his plea.
"Everyone thinks I'm lying about dating you!" She bawled. "They say even if it were true that you would ditch me for… for…" She hiccupped, her cries coming harder now. "for someone like them. I will never be good enough for someone like you." Tears ran freely down her face. "You're so perfect Harry, and I'm so… not."
As soon as the last few words left her quivering lips, Harry acted. Forcefully, he picked her up, slammed her against the wall and kissed her with all the passion he could muster. She was forced to think of nothing but this one kiss. She kissed him back and bit on his bottom lip softly—something she knew he loved—and left him moaning from somewhere in the back of his throat. As cliché as it sounded, oxygen became a necessity, leading them to pull away. Though he did press his forehead against hers. In the silence, Harry was able to gently murmur,
"I love you so much, Ariana Lee Hope, never forget that. You are so perfect in every way possible. I will always be there for you! I love you!"
"I love you too, and I will always be there for you, Harry Edward Styles." She giggled. He could only chuckle at his sweet girlfriend. He leaned in to kiss her once more.
