She sat in the chair as she waited for him to come home from another case. She looked up from her book that she had taken from his bookshelf, she saw him enter the room before going back to read the book. It was an interesting book and he hadn't seen her yet, she guessed a few minutes before he did.
He walked around to see her sitting in his chair; he sat down in the opposing chair and watched her. "I find it interesting that you picked that book, Alice in Wonderland, it eludes to the idea that you found yourself in a rabbit whole."
She closed the book and looked up. "I favored this book as a child, so it would seem that I would like the book as an adult as well." She sat the book down on the side table next to her. "What can I do for you Mr. Holmes?"
"I could ask you the same thing Miss Granger." He stated, watching her. "You are in my home, in my chair, reading my books."
"Only one book actually." She smiled at him and leaned back in the chair. "You've been following me."
"You live in the same house as me and I've never seen you, you've locked the doors in ways that I couldn't open them and yet here you are in front me as if we're old friends." He stated, looking at her.
"You could've knocked, I'm home most of the time." Hermione smiled. "Maybe we can discuss cases some day."
"Maybe some day soon." He smirked, as she stood up and walked to the door. "You can take the book if you want."
She turned to look at him and smiled. "I remember it well enough."
