A week passed since Madame Red's funeral.
The servants of the Phantomhive Manor still made mistakes, but not as often or big. They all truly loved Madame Red. She was the only one who would visit Ciel because she wanted to and did not mess with his personal items (like Elizabeth).
Ciel did all of his work quietly and was less demanding to everyone at the manor. He missed Madame Red deeply, even though he denied it and did not show much emotion.
Sebastian was the only one not affected. He was actually okay with there being more free time in the house. Every opportunity that he had, he would go outside and meet with the beautiful black cat. When he couldn't he would think. About what?
Alejandra.
"Young master, there is a letter for you." Sebastian presented said object to his master on a shining silver tray. It was a simple cream covered envelope with a seal that he had not seen in such a long time. He opened the envelope, breaking the seal and read the letter inside.
Lord Ciel Phantomhive,
You have been invited to the reading of Angelina Durless's will at her mansion in London. The event shall take place next Saturday at 3 o'clock in the afternoon. You are welcome to stay a few nights before or after the reading. You may also bring your servants if you wish.

"Sebastian! Prepare to travel to London by tomorrow morning. Everyone will go." Ciel ordered his demon butler.
By late afternoon the next day, the whole Phantomhive household was knocking on the front door of Madame Red's mansion.
A lady servant answered the door. "Hello. Are you Earl Phantohimve?" She asked Ciel who nodded in response. "Please follow me then. All of your luggage shall be taken to their respectful places by others."
Everyone followed the servant to the music room, where music from a piano was heard playing a beautiful melody. The servant bowed and left the room, silent as a mouse. At the bench of the piano was an angel. She had a white dress that was long sleeved with a slight ruffle at the wrists and had a high collar that hid her thin neck, but had a black ribbon that was tied into a bow on the front. She had her black shoulder-length hair loose that seemed to flutter even though there was no breeze in the room. Her thin fingers flew across the keys of the piano as she played. (She's playing Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata")
No one moved for the duration of the song.
When she finished, she breathed in deeply and turned to the others in the room. "Hello, everyone. It's been a while."
"Alejandra!" All three of the servants ran and hugged her in a large group hug. "We missed you so much!" She smiled at the three she had come to know as friends.
"I missed you all as well." She was released as she stood and walked over to Ciel and Sebastian. "Hello, Lord Phantomhive. Sebastian." She greeted.
"Hello, Lady Alejandra. How are you? It truly has been a while since we last saw each other." Ciel responded.
"I've been well. And no need for formality with me, Lord Phantomhive. Please call me Alejandra as you did before." She gave him a small smile.
"Very well. We have co-" Ciel started.
Alejandra held up a hand, stopping Ciel. "I know why you came. I was actually hoping that you would come today. Even though Madame Red knew many people and had quite a few friends, only two were named in her will: yourself and I."
"I thought that there would be more, considering that she had many friends." Ciel was astonished. He was sure that there would have been at least a few more people. Madame Red was known for her popularity at parties and had made a large amount of friends.
"Yes. However, she chose the two of us because we are the most important to her. She had no one else to give any of her possessions to. No one she could trust. No one she cares for as much."
Saturday finally came and the will was read.
Ciel would gain half of Madame Red's inheritance.
Alejandra would receive the other half of the inheritance and all of her worldly possessions: her home and all that was within, and any other items that belonged to her. The servants were free, but some decided to stay and serve Alejandra.
"That's done with. Sebastian, prepare everything. We shall leave tomorrow." Ciel told his demon butler.
"Actually Ciel, I was hoping to talk to you about something before you leave." Alejandra entered the sitting room, where Ciel was having tea.
"What about?" Sebastian served Alejandra tea as she sat down in front of the young earl.
"Well, I really enjoyed working for you, even if it was only training. Before, you, Madame Red, and my family were the ones who gave me a reason to live. Now, I do not have anything. I will not be like other women who marry and worry about fashion. I want to be a woman who actually works for herself. I will not be satisfied living as a doll. I was hoping that if you could have me work for you once more." She said after a sip of tea.
"What would you do? You now have attained your original status once more. There is no need for you to work. Not only that, you have enough money to do whatever you wish to do for the rest of your life." Ciel responded.
"I would, if you allow me, be your tutor for various subjects."
"What kind of subjects?" He asked interested.
"Art, languages, dance, and music. I know that you most likely have tutors for these subjects, but I will not ask for much pay, minimum wage is enough for me. I only ask that at least once or twice a week to come here to manage any dealings and to practice my dancing, for I wish to stay in shape to be more of a help to you. I also wish to join you when doing your work as a watchdog."
"I can deal with the first part. However, I must ask as to why you wish to join me. You know the risks. You saw what happened..." Ciel trailed off. Both were silent, knowing what he was talking about.
"Young master, I think it would be a good idea for us to allow Alejandra to work with us. She could prove very useful to you." Sebastian suggested, while smiling at the young lady.
"Very well."
I am so super sorry about the fact that I haven't updated in so much time! Please forgive me! Same excuse: school. Tomorrow I have my first chemistry exam! I'm nervous!
