JKR is queen, I just visit her characters sometimes!

As Severus Snape entered the Great Hall on the day of the Quittich Final, a hush fell upon all who were there. In place of his usual black he was now sporing red and gold, well known to be Gryffindor's colors.

The Head of Slytherin House snarled and sat beside his wife (and Head of Gryffindor House) Hermione. She gave him a quick kiss and whispered in his ear, "I can't believe you actually did it!"

"What choice did I have?" he asked, shooting a glance at the Slytherin table, who were all staring daggers at him.

"I told you not to bet against me..." she said playfully, "Was it worth it?"

He licked his lips, remembering how he had lost and said, "Without a doubt, my dear."

The night before Hermione had told him that if he could keep his hands off her all night, she would cheer openly for Slytherin at the Final. He agreed quickly. He had been a spy after all. A double spy. After all that he had done in the war, keeping his pants on for one night shouldn't be a problem right?

Wrong.

What his darling wife hadn't told him was that while he couldn't touch her, she could do whatever she wanted to him. To give credit where credit is due, he lasted almost five minutes...almost.

So, here he was, on the biggest game day of the school year, sporting the enemy's colors. He risked another glance at the Slytherins. It was going to be a long day.

After the students began to talk again, Severus could almost forget about his horrid attire, that is until he heard Headmistriss McGonagall make her way over.

"I hate you." he quietly told Hermione.

His wife grinned, slipped her hand in his lap, and whispered, "That's not wat you said last night...or this morning for that matter." She turned to face McGonagall who was now beside them, "Oh, hello Minerva. Nice day for a match, isn't it?"

The Headmistress smiled sweetly and said, "Yes it is! Oh Severus, I must say, those new robes of yours look very good on you."

"Shut up, Minerva." He growled at the old woman.

It was going to be a very long day.

"What did he say the score was, Severus? 50-10?" Hermione asked as Gryffindor scored yet again.

He squeezed her hand hard. "You know very well what the score is. No need to gloat."

She grinned as she saw a flash of red and gold dive after what could only be the Golden Snitch. "Oh, I'm not gloating...yet."

He rolled his eyes as he watched her jump up and down when her team scored again. "How can such a small woman have so much energy?"

She smiled sweetly asking, "How can such a strong man be such a sore loser?"

The End.

A/N: This is an old story of mine that I've finally found time to re-do. I hope you enjoyed it. As for the classic "please review" line, anyone on this site knows how much reviews mean to authors. They are everything. Have a great day!
