"Died?!" Ichigo asked in pure shock. "But…h-how?!"

Orihime put her finger next to her mouth in a thinking pose and began to speak.

"Well, as you were trying to get home I guess Grimmjow stabbed you." Orihime shrugged. Ichigo looked at his dame with confusion.

"But…how did I come back?" He asked trying to sort out the situation.

"I brought you back!" She said with a sparkle in her eye. Ichigo smiled at his beloved and grabbed her hand. Then he suddenly remembered about the fight between him and Grimmjow. His eyes widened and he practically jumped out of the bed he was laying in.

"And Grimmjow? What happened to Grimmjow?" Ichigo asked with a sort of urgency.

"Oh um, he got away." She said with a somber tone. "But the captain commander did send out a squad to go look for him."

Ichigo looked down at his lap. He couldn't help but feel that this was all his fault, he should have killed Grimmjow back in Hueco Mundo when he had the chance. Then his thoughts danced around to how this whole mess got started in the first place, Momo.

"What happened to Momo?" Ichigo asked with particular interest.

"Well…." Orihime trailed off.

Flash Back~

"What do we do now?" Orihime asked her friend looking at the giant door that towered over the both of them. Rukia smacked her forehead.

"Knock!" Rukia stressed in a hushed tone.

"Why didn't I think of that?" Orihime whispered to herself as she lightly knocked on the door to the 12th division. They waited for about 5 minutes and then Rukia began to grow impatient. She began banging on the door harshly and yelling hello. Orihime looked at her friend in distress.

"Rukia! Are you sure that's such a good idea? I-I mean maybe he's sleeping a-and we're disturbing him." The worried girl attempted to make her friend stop, but Rukia was a stubborn one.

Suddenly the doors began to slowly open revealing nothing but darkness behind them. Orihime looked at Rukia and Rukia returned the look.

"S-should we?" The frightened Orihime asked.

"Yes." Rukia said trying to sound brave. She pulled Momo along and Orihime stood close to her friend's side. They heard a kind of clacking sound coming near them, but they could not see anyone through the darkness.

"Hello?" Rukia asked as the clacking sound came closer.

"Hello." A soft voice answered and in that instant all of the lights in the room turned on. They appeared to be in a lab with wires streaming all over the place. The woman who had answered Rukia was Nemu.

"Captain Kurotsuchi will be right with you." The slender woman said politely. "Please, take a seat." She prodded the women as she pointed to three chairs behind them.

"Were those there before?" Orihime asked the purple haired Shinigami. Rukia shrugged in response. They sat down as told and as they did Nemu left.

Orihime played with her fingers to release her nerves. Mayuri seemed really creepy, yet very mysterious. Rukia on the other hand was completely still. If she didn't blink you would think she was a statue.

They heard a loud laughing noise coming from far away, it sounded like Mayuri. Orihime and Rukia looked at each other in anticipation.

"Hello ladies." Mayuri said as he took a seat in a giant leather chair that was placed in front of a jumbo monitor screen. "To what do I owe this honor?" He asked sarcastically.

"We have a question for you." Rukia said in a strong voice. Mayuri didn't seem pleased at Rukia not acknowledging his question.

"Well, always down to the point Ms. Kuchiki." He said her name in a sort of snakelike way. "What is it I can do for you ladies? The captain said as his eyes fell upon Orihime.

"We were wondering…um" Rukia started but then began to feel ridiculous as she was about to state the reason they were there out loud. "If you do…therapy."

Silence fell over the room, but it was quickly broken by a hysterical Mayuri. He began roaring with laughter. Rukia and Orihime looked at one another dumbfounded.

When Mayuri finally calmed down he wiped a tear from his eye and exhaled.

"You want me to perform therapy on all of you?" He asked with a couple of giggles still lingering.

"No. Just for Momo…she's become sort of a traitor and we would like you to help steer her on the right path, if you will." Rukia clarified. Mayuri made a thinking face and looked over at Momo.

"Very well." He agreed. "Bring her to me. She will be released from my care when she is fully repaired." Mayuri said with a devilish smile.

"R-repaired?" Orihime asked in a mousy voice.

Rukia wasted no time handing the traitor over to the creepy captain.

"The Soul Society thanks you." Rukia said as they began to take their leave. Mayuri laughed and the two girls left the 12th division.

"Do you think she'll be alright?" Orihime asked genuinely worried for the traitor.

"She'll be fine." Rukia assured her worried friend.

Present Time~

"Oh…that makes sense…I think?" Ichigo said as he scratched his head. Orihime giggled at his confusion.

"Well Mr. Kurosaki," Orihime began. "you are officially moved into my apartment!" She smiled and gestured for him to look around the room at all of his things. He examined the bedroom and all of his stuff was there! From his Alanis Morissette CD's, to his full collection of sappy love movies.

He smiled and looked back at her.

"I think I'm going to love living with you."

They laughed together and then shared a beautiful kiss.

"Come on Orihime." Ichigo said as he led his blindfolded girlfriend to a surprise date!

"Oh I just love surprises!" Orihime shouted with glee.

"A little further." Her boyfriend prompted. "Now we're here! What do you think baby?" Ichigo asked sounding pleased with himself.

"Um…I don't know Ichigo…I'm still blindfolded." She chuckled a little.

"Oh right!" Ichigo said as he untied the blindfold.

When it was taken off she saw a beautiful candle lit dinner right in front of her. She looked around her and saw they were on a private island. The moon shone brightly above them and she felt like she was in a dream.

"Well?" Ichigo asked growing with anticipation.

"I-It's like a dream." Orihime said in awe as her eyes took in the beauty. Ichigo smiled feeling pleased with himself and then pulled her chair out. She sat and smiled at her boyfriend.

After dinner was desert and as Orihime looked through all of her choices set up on a little round table just next to the table they had eaten dinner at. It was so hard to choose between tiramisu and double layered chocolate cake…although one way or another she would find a way to dip in some wasabi sauce. Ichigo was behind her watching her debate between the two cakes.

"Orihime." Ichigo began.

"Hmm?" She asked completely indulged in her choices.

"You love me, right?" He asked already knowing what the answer would be.

"Of course silly!" She giggled as she pointed at the tiramisu and then quickly moved her finger over to the chocolate.

"And I love you." He said calmly. She smiled and kept on debating between the cakes.

"Can you see yourself with me in…ten years?" He asked moving further away from his girlfriend.

"Of course. What's with these questions Ichigo?" She said as she turned around to see her boyfriend down on one knee with a beautiful ring in his hand.

"Orihime Inoue, I love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. No matter where we are, as long as I am with you my life will be complete. So I ask you; Orihime Inoue, will you marry me?"
