This oneshot is for Demonking123. They had said they never read a Chris/Clarrise story asked if I could write one about when Clarrise was taking care of Chris. Here it is. Hope you like it Demonking123

Disclaimer: You see, I owned PJO, then Rick sent ninjas after me, and I had to give back the rights.

So no. I do NOT own PJO.

Anything

Clarrise had found him, wandering around, in living hell.

She brought him back to the camp.

She brought him back to Chiron.

She brought him back to health.

But no matter what, she couldn't bring him back to sanity.

He was crazy.

No matter what, the Labyrinth's horrors would always be inside him. The images imprinted into his brain. He was beyond help.

Clarrise shook her head again. She wouldn't give up. She was a daughter of Ares. Nothing would prevent her from helping him.

"Do you remember anything?" she asked again, as calmly as she could manage. On the inside, she wanted to scream, to yell, stab something, and MAKE the memories come back. She didn't, though, because she knew it would make things worse. So she continued being completely unlike herself. Talking quietly, and being gentle. She was someone else. She hated it. And she would be someone else until the day she died if it would help him. She would do anything.

Crazy

"So dark. Luke wants it. Still hurts." Chris babbled on. The other campers would have been forcing information out of him. So would she, if it was anyone else. She just continued to listen, hoping that after a while he would have said every crazy thing he needed to and would become sane again. It was a small chance. She didn't know if it would work, or if he would ever lose the clouds of fear shielding his eyes, but she did know that she would never call anyone crazy again. She would call them weak, useless, or wimpy, but never crazy. Ever.

Help

Silena had stopped by to give her sympathy. When Clarrise first saw her walking up, she was sure it was to laugh at Chris, or taunt Clarrise about her lack of progress like all her half-sisters. She almost smiled thinking about what she did to them. Those girls must of forgotten who she was, and walked away definitely not to forget again any time soon.

So you could have defined the feeling that filled her when Silena offered to try and use charmspeak to heal Chris as shock. But it was relief. Relief that there were still people on this earth that cared. While she watched Silena tell Chris to forget the painful memories, she couldn't believe that anyone who could just go up to a stranger and do everything in their power to help them could be related to some of those shallow idiots who only cared about looking pretty. But it was when Silena offered to come back and try again tomorrow that Clarrise decided that if Silena ever needed anything, she would be the first to help.

Miracles

Clarrise never believed in miracles. She didn't have a reason to. Everything came from hard work. So she worked hard at everything. Especially curing Chris. She would spend every extra minute she had talking with him. She spent every second of every day thinking of new ways to help him. But when he squinted and said

"Clarrise? Is that you? Why am I here? Oh my gods. I'm in camp. Am I just dreaming?" she knew it was a miracle.

Clarrise never believed in miracles. She didn't have a reason to. Until then.

Tada! I know it seemed a little OC, but remember that Clarisse was trying to be different during this time.
