Jayden's POV
It was about time Mistress had put the Zorua to sleep. She was getting on my nerves! With all her complaining and not even knowing what eating is….Gosh, she needs to get a life with Mistress, perhaps then she would actually behave like a faithful Pokemon. Then again, she did mention that Riz will be having the glorious Soul Bonding soon, so why should I be worrying? …...but I swear, if this changes anything between my relationship with Mistress, I'm going to have to result to something dire.
"Jayden… What's wrong?" A voice spoke up. I jumped and spun around to see the Servine…..Oroku, right? "I may not be as involved but I can tell when something's going wrong."
"Hmph." I look away. "Everything is perfectly fine, Servi-Oroku. Aren't you suppose to be training with the others?"
"No, I don't NEED to be training. You almost forgot my name." Oroku frowned at me. "You seem be arguing with Riz and Kura a lot lately."
"They're not important at the moment." I said stiffly. "Go and train. I want to be alone."
"You're always alone. I think leaving you alone right now is too dangerous." Oroku frowned, still here bugging me.
"I said leave me alone." I hissed, getting up and padding towards the back door.
But Oroku grabbed me with his Vine Whip. "I think you need to talk to someone. And if not to me then to another girl, Nami."
I growl in annoyance and use Bite on the vines, causing them to tremble but not let go. "Let me go, Servine." I hissed, glaring at him.
"You just BIT me and called me Servine. You are definitely turning into nothing more than a mindless slave." he glared back with those cold snake eyes. "You're no better than N, the one who took my best friend away from me." he hissed before throwing me into the water of the indoor pool we had. "I hope you have a good nice long chat with your Mistress, because that's all you ever care about." and he walks away.
I cough and swim to the edge, climbing out of the pool, dripping wet. "Friends?" I shout to him as he continues walking. "What are friends when you have Mistress?!" The Servine froze, slowly turning around to glare at me.
"You just PROVED my point that you are just a mindless puppet." he spat, then turned around again to continue walking.
"Mindless puppet?" I growl to myself. "I'll show him mindless puppet….." I quickly shake myself dry and charge towards the unsuspecting Servine and use Take Down.
I hit him from behind and smirked at the satisfying THUD he made when he fell. He got up and turned to me with those cold eyes.
"You truly are a pathetic little fool!" he hissed dangerously at me. "That you would resort to barbaric violence to your own teammate."
"Teammate?" I growled back. "I don't have teammates. There's only Mistress and me, the rest of you are either enemies or allies. And don't you dare tell me they're the same thing. Teammates would be closer to me than allies. Only Mistress is close to me-"
But I never got to finish since there was a loud SLAP! And a sharp pain from my cheek. The stupid Servine had used Vine Whip to slap me…
"You sicken me." he hissed again. "To think I once thought of you as a friend!"
Friend….there's that word again….why do they keep calling me their friend?! I don't have friends, when will they realize that?! There's only Mistress and me, no friends. Friends are worthless, and dumb, and stupid, and ki- ...kinda stupid!
"...Your friends will be your downfall." I growled. "They will be used against you by the enemy, and you will be brought down to an even lower level than what you at now."
But I didn't say too much… I would never admit this, but Oroku does scare me a little…he rarely gets angry...but when he does, even I know when to watch out. But this….I will not let this go so easily.
"Friends are someone you can count on. Someone you can talk to or trust when you are sad or angry. They would always be there for you. But you see them as nothing but something that gets in the way of you and your 'precious' Mistress. Well, let me give you a news flash Jayden; Mistress, as much as you hate to hear this, is not the only one here that matters." He spoke with such certainty and calm yet authority that it was hard to argue… Even though Riz and Kura said the same thing… something about how Oroku said it made me… doubtful now. He sounded so absolutely certain….Kura and Riz….they only sounded angry and frustrated… didn't they? Oroku however…he sounded different… almost like I… could trust him…? No….I can't trust anyone besides Mistress…. right? I-I'm not so sure...
I looked away from those eyes; they kept staring at me with coldness…. but….. why did I see a small bit of warmth in it? "Just….leave me alone." I growled and turn around. These thoughts…..why? Why do I have so many thoughts? And why did Oroku have to sound so certain about friends?
"I already told you, I won't leave you alone! Not if you're gonna run to your 'only thing that matters' Mistress!" he said, almost growling. "Get it through your head- She. Isn't. All. And until you get that I'm not leaving!"
"Then I guess you'll be here for a while." I said coldly, not turning to look at him. "I don't care what you think. We all have our opinions, and some of them are facts. Right now, all I'm hearing from you is your opinion of Mistress, and I don't listen to anything that isn't fact. Mistress is my world, my life, my everything, when will you get that through your thick head?!" I yelled the last part, turning to glare at him.
"When you look me in the eyes and say it." he said coldly, to my surprise. "And when you can truly say that she's your whole world- that I don't exist. That Riz and Kura don't exist. That nothing exists but her, including your own 'facts'!" He shouted this, glaring at me straight in the eye….with those cold snake eyes…..deep, dark, and… oddly warm in the center... almost hypnotizing tunnels of black… how could something so dark...have warmth in it?
I gritted my teeth. "I can't say that last part," I growled. "It is completely obvious that you exist-"
"Oh, really? Then why did you say I don't? Huh? Because according to you, that's the truth she's put in your stubborn head!"
"I never said that, idiot." I hissed. "Stop twisting my words to make it seem like you're the victim. I can say the first part, but the second part I can't, because then I would be lying, and I. Don't. Lie."
"You're lying to yourself," He said simply, getting closer to me. "If she's your whole world, then I don't exist. And neither does Kura. Or Riz. Or the castle. Or the humans. Or YOU. Or anything. But. Her. So if you wanna deny the truth, go ahead- but I'm not leaving until you realize that she ISN'T everything!" By this point, his eyes were right in my face… why can't I concentrate on anything else besides those stupid eyes…?
"...She is my everything." I said after a moment, turning around again, and I started to walk away from the Servine. "If that means you, Kura, Riz, humans, anything, even me; if that means that none of that exists…..then I'm fine with that. Mistress is the only thing that matters to me. I don't need anything else-"
The Ser…. Oroku… grabbed me with his vines and turned me around. "Then say it while looking at me. Because if you can… you're nothing but a puppet, and I've been right all along." Those… those eyes… again…!
"..." W-why… why can't I say anything? Mistress is my world! ...So why can't I say it to him like this? This was…this is my worst enemy. There's no other way to explain it. Only my worst enemy would have me question Mistress…. "...Get the hell away from me." I finally growled.
"No, I will not, Jayden. Answer me first, and then I'll let you go. Because if you can't look me in the eye and say without a shadow of a doubt, that I don't exist… and that nothing but Mew is real… we might be able to save you…" I blinked and noticed… a… tear…? F-from… those eyes….no. Not possible. And why would he be crying, of everyone here? The strong don't cry… do they? …They can't show weakness, otherwise they wouldn't be the strong…. So why….
"Save me from Mistress?" I frowned. "I… I don't need saving, Ser-Oroku. And even if I did need saving, I wouldn't need you to do it. Mistress would save me-"
"Mistress wouldn't care! Don't you get it!? She only cares for herself! I'm trying to help you, but you do nothing but act like a puppet!" he hissed angrily.
Okay, that's it, I've been called a puppet too many times! I won't have this anymore! "Put. Me. Down." I said with forced calmness.
"No, Jayden! I won't put you down. Look me in the eyes and say nothing but Mew exists, and then I'll put you down. If you can't, say so. Until then I won't put you down."
"If you won't put me down, then I will." I growled before slowly preparing a Shadow Ball in my mouth. Next time I talked….he would be hit. And the longer he talks, the bigger the attack, because it gives me more time to have it grow.
But is it something that you would really want to do? a voice in the back of my head whispered. I frowned in confusion. No…..this was that small part of my brain which always tells me not to do something. Why now? We had come to an agreement weeks ago about how it would stop bugging me...
You really have gone crazy. it said to me. I never said that… and do you really want to hurt Oroku?
"I just want to know if that's how you really feel." Oroku spoke again, still staring at me with those cold eyes. "If it is… I'll stop."
Yes, I do want to do it… w-why can't I say it, though?
Because you don't believe it to your core… Deep down you don't want this. You want friends.
I growled, dispersing the Shadow Ball in my mouth. This was getting too annoying...I don't want friends, all I want is to get out of THIS STUPID GRIP!
It was stupid on my part, now that I look back on it, but at the time, I really did want to. I opened my mouth and used Bite on Oroku's vines, which caused them to tremble again, but they didn't drop me like I hoped.
Oroku glared at me…. this is the part I regret…..I glared right back at him, staring him straight in those cold eyes. "Mistress is everything. She is my world, and you are nothing. You don't exist, I don't believe you to be here. You. Are. Nothing."
Oroku's eyes widened before he looked away, but his eyes suddenly grew colder than ever before, slowly putting me down. "Fine. Be that way. I can do nothing to help you now, puppet. I had hoped there was still time to help you… And maybe I just wanted you to know who I am… but it's not meant to be." he spat. "You're on your own."
I turned away from him, sitting down on the floor, my silver tail swishing behind me. "I hear something…." I said to myself, but loud enough for him to hear. "But I can't make it out….perhaps it's just the wind… Besides, I've been talking to the peaceful wind this entire time...I was alone this entire time." I put an emphasis on the last 2 words. I wanted Servine to feel the pain of being alone, of being ignored. Why I wanted this….I couldn't even explain it to myself.
"I just want you to know who I am. But I can see that the WIND is more important to you." he said, but he sounded a lot more calm for some reason. "You're a puppet and an immature baby. No wonder Mew sees you as an easy target. Goodbye… Eevee. Hope you enjoy being nothing at all while I help my friends." And… he walked away and this time, I didn't stop him.
Auro's POV
I...I don't know what I'm feeling… but I… do I like Riz? I… guess there's only one way to find out…
"Hey Auro." she said suddenly. "I'm curious about something… I remember Jayden told me she dreamt of me being some kind of black Mew. I don't know what to think of it but… do you have any ideas? ...Auro, are you even listening!?"
I blinked, opening my eyes. "H-huh!?" I found her a foot away from me… I guess the cuddle was... all in my imagination... "S-sorry, what were you saying?" I smiled sheepishly and she sighed.
"Jayden can sometimes see the future in her dreams. And she dreamt of me as a black Mew before. Do you know anything about it?" she asked me again, but with a little more impatience in it.
"O-oh, uh… I don't think so… but it almost sounds like… a Shadow Mew." I said with a shudder. She blinked, tilting her head.
"Shadow Pokemon are Pokemon with their hearts completely shut and they are fighting machines with hardly any emotions." I explained quickly.
"Oh...Gee I hope not. Regular Mew is bad enough." Then she sighed. "...You...don't think that Mew would make me evolve, do you? I just don't like Zoroark…"
I frowned. "I...I'm not sure- she might, to make her 'team' stronger… but I dunno. By this point, the ball's in her court."
"I do remember her mentioning that she wanted us to evolve…" I frowned as Riz looked down sadly. "But… I don't want to be a Zoroark. Perhaps if I was an Eevee like Jayden I'd have more options, but I don't."
"...M-maybe we can help you- Mewtwo-sama and I, I mean!"
"Help me?" she blinked
"Yeah, I mean if you don't want to evolve and stay the way you are, we could help…"
But she sighed, "Well… I DO want to evolve… just not into Zoroark. I'd like to become stronger myself, if nothing else, to help my friends better…"
"...I-I'm sorry, but… I don't know how we could do that unless you changed your DNA..." I said slowly.
"DNA…? I think… but…"
"What?" It was almost like she's getting an idea.
"I'm not sure. But I think it's possible I have some of Eevee's DNA in me." she said and I blinked.
"...W-wha- huh? What… do you mean, Riz?" Even with that dream just now.. I was still confused.
"When Mew made me and Jayden fight, a lot of her blood got into my cut." she answered and cringed a bit at the memory. "But I don't think her DNA's gone since if they weren't compatible with me, I'd be having a convulsion or something."
I blinked in surprise before thinking. "...W-well, I guess it'd work- I mean, you're both fox Pokemon…" I then shrugged. "But… you'd need to be positive this'll work. You'll… well, die if you aren't a perfect match."
"... I don't want to chance it then. I don't want to die before… well… helping my friends." Riz said softly. "B….but now? I… I dunno…"
I sighed, shrugging. "Well… what do you want to do?" I looked at her worriedly. "After all… you can't do it right now."
"I just… I don't know… Um… Is Jayden really too late to save?" Riz asked me nervously.
I frowned worriedly. "I…. I think so… but I'm not sure…"
"I want to try talking to her again." Riz said suddenly and my eyes widened. That could be dangerous seeing how far Jayden's gone under Mew's influence!
I quickly shook my head. "N-no! Riz, please don't do that! It's dangerous, she might try to KILL you if you say the wrong thing!"
"I-I know… she did try to kill me many times before, didn't she?" Riz said sadly. "But… what else can I do? I can't… talk to her in her mind like you can with me."
I blinked before a grin began to show on my face. "...Actually…" I began, sounding happy. "You might be able to."
She gave me a look like I was crazy. "... I… I can? HOW!?" She was suddenly all up in my face, and I stumbled backwards.
"U-uh…" I blushed madly. "First? GET OUT OF MY FACE. I can't kiss- THINK! I can't think in this situation…" Why did I say kiss!? Ugh, now she'll slap me or something, I just know it!
"... Well…?" she asked me and I noticed she was blushing slightly herself.
I frowned in confusion. "...Well… what?" I don't understand… what is she trying to find out?
"W-well, how do I… go into Jayden's mind?" As soon as the moment was there… it was gone, and she backed up, all business.
I felt disappointed, really… I had hoped it would've lasted longer… W-w-wait, what am I thinking?! "Of course… um… Well there is a way you can talk to her mentally."
"Yes, but how?" she asked me again, sounding a bit impatient. "You keep saying I can, but HOW!?"
I smiled a bit. "Well, uh…. you'll have to talk to me a bit first… and I'll help you with a path to Jayden's mind."
Riz suddenly groaned, "So… it'll take… some time?"
"Yeah, it will." I said, but why is she… oh… "You're waking up now?"
"Yeah, I think so." Riz said with a sigh. "This really sucks… I wanted to find a way to help Jayden!"
I smiled gently. "Well… we can try next time, alright Riz? Come… come back soon!"
"Sure… I'll try…" She said before disappearing back into the real world.
Riz's POV
I woke up again and sat up, ugh… why does my head hurt? What happened last time? I sniffed, smelling something… It smells like… stew? Is someone cooking something? I sighed before jumping down from my bed… Wait, I don't remember falling asleep on a bed… ah whatever. I began walking out and saw Oroku walking towards me.
"Huh? Hey Oroku… uh… you seem upset about something." I wonder what happened...
Oroku looked at me with sharp eyes. "...More angered than upset…" He muttered. He was so quiet, I could barely hear him!
Thankfully my ears were sharp enough to hear that soft sentence. "... Angry? Uh… What happened? You know… if you want to talk about it…"
Oroku glared at me, turning away. "...I'm good… thanks, Riz… You'd probably yell at me yourself."
"No I wouldn't! … Um… did you talk to Jayden or something?" I had a feeling he might've tried to speak to her about Mew, and… well… Jayden must've really offended him.
The Servine kept his gaze away from me. "If you could call it that," he growled. "She did nothing but prattle on about Mew…"
I sighed, I was afraid of this. "Mew's already taken over her mind. I want to try and help her, but just talking to her won't do us any good anymore. I think… we'd have to go in deeper, much deeper."
Oroku looked at me as if in shock. "W….What? I… Mew… took over her MIND!? I knew she was a Psychic type, but that's strong…"
"Yes, she did. I know Jayden, she used to be much less violent, and much more open minded and friendly; she wasn't like this at all before." I said sadly.
The Servine frowned in confusion. "Well…. why would she change that about her? I… I don't understand- what drove her to do that?"
"I guess this is what happens when Mew takes you over." I said sadly, before looking up. "Someone told me I could probably get into her mind and try talking to her there, but I'm not sure how much time it will take."
Okoru raised an eyebrow. "...Are you asking me to cover for you?" He crossed his arms. "I mean… that's going far, don't you think?"
"No, no, nothing like that, I don't need to go somewhere, I just have to sleep long enough for it to happen. Err… it's complicated, but that's it." I said quickly.
Then I heard someone else coming in. I looked over and my eyes widened to see it was Jayden. Oh boy, this is not good… "U-uh… hey Jayden!"
As soon as Jayden saw me and Oroku, she glared, before ignoring us. She walked past us like we weren't even there.
"J-Jayden! What's with you?" I ran after her, leaving Oroku in the other room. "I only wanted to… play with you, uh… maybe even play a Mew Game with Mistress?" I said to her, hoping to tempt her.
Jayden froze, glancing at me in surprise. "...Huh?"
"Yeah, I mean the Mistress loves it when we play games with her, right? And… she said I'd have that Soul Merge thing with her, so… uh… maybe it'd be better if we spend more time together with her, right?"
Jayden blinked slowly, slowly nodding. "Well… uh… yeah, I suppose so… but..."
Good, it was working. "What's wrong? I thought this might be something you'd want." I smiled innocently at her.
The shiny Eevee couldn't help but frown slightly. "...Yeah, but you'd never agree to that…"
I shrugged. "Well, I am now, right? So let's plaaaaaaaaaaaay~" I gave her a BIG smile, hoping she'd fall for it…
Jayden then gave a big smile, like a child who just got the birthday present they wanted for their entire life. "Wow, I dunno what happened to you, but I like it!" She crouched down slightly, wagging her tail in the air. "What do ya wanna play?"
I gave her a big smile, mimicking her posture. "Anything you want. Consider this my apology!" Hopefully this will lower your mind's guard and make it easier for me to come in once Auro teaches me.
"Wanna play one of my games?" Jayden asked, excited. "I've got a bunch of them! Do ya? Do ya? Do ya?"
I blinked in surprise. "...You have games?" She nodded, jumping around like Pinkie Pie on high sugar rush. "Well, uh… what kind?"
"I call them the Shiny Games!" Jayden grinned. "I made them especially for us!"
I blinked in surprise. "Huh? ...Shiny Games? What's this gonna be about, Jayden?" I honestly was curious…. what did Jayden have in mind?
"It's similar to Mistress's wonderful Mew Games, only they were constructed by me with her blessings." She smiled, showing small fangs, and I resisted the urge to shudder…. both from the fangs, and from the fact that she called Mew Games wonderful. "Here, I'll show you a few!"
She showed me a storybook, like one of those children pop-up books, but this one… I think she did on her own, because the cover had Mew on it with a crown that says: "Mistress's World".
"Um… what uh… is the game? Just reading it?" I asked her nervously.
Jayden gave a small smirk and beckoned me over. "Let me show you~"
I hesitantly walked closer to her and she opened the cover of the storybook, causing a pink castle to pop up.
"Whoa… uh… Mistress really does like her pink." I chuckled nervously. She just smiled widely as a pink and silver light began engulfing us. "H-hey what's happening?"
"You'll enjoy this, Riz. I'm sure of it. Especially since you're the one that suggested we play~"
I gulped, something's not right… "J-Jayden… what's it doing!?" The light began pushing us into the book itself!
"I'm sure we'll have great fun in Mistress's world, Riz." Was the last thing I heard before the bright light became blinding. I closed my eyes quickly, trying to run away.
However, before I could even move, Jayden headbutted me into the book! Inside the book! How in Mew did that happen?! When I reopened my eyes, all I saw was pink. Pink grass, a giant pink castle, pink bubbles floating in the pink sky, WHY WAS EVERYTHING PINK?!
"Ugh… so… much… pink…" I groaned, unable to keep my eyes open, there were way too much pink here!
"Isn't it great?" Jayden smirked, licking her paw and swiping it across her cheek. "You're in Mistress's kingdom now, traitor."
I quickly looked at her in shock, "Wh-what? Why do you think I'm a traitor!?"
Jayden scoffed, walking over to me, circling around me. "Riz, I'm not as stupid as you think I am. I know you were faking it all. You didn't want to play a game with me, you don't think Mistress is 'Mistress', I bet you don't even like me anymore." She spat. "You're just a filthy little traitor."
"How dare you." A voice from behind us growled.
I jumped and spun around to see the Servine, Oroku? "Oroku what are you doing here?"
Oroku only glared as he walked up to us, "Jayden… you took your friend into this PINK world to brainwash her, weren't you?" He hissed at her.
Jayden growled at Oroku, turning away from me to swipe at his face, but he only jumped back before she could land a hit. "Friend?" She scoffed, prowling towards him. "We've been over this, Servine. I have no friends. Riz is not my friend. Get that in your thick head!" She stopped right in front of him, growling in his face, but not attacking. "As for the brainwashing…" A smirk appeared on her face and she turned away from him, tail brushing against his face nonchalantly. "It's for the greater good. Or… my good. And Mistress's good. Since Riz is one of Mistress's chosen ones, like me, I do have to make sure she obeys!"
"J-Jayden…" I couldn't believe this was happening to her! "Jayden please stop this! Just what are you going to do to me!?"
Jayden ignored me and sat down on the ground, casually licking her paw. She glanced up at Oroku with a fanged smirk. "Got a problem with that~?"
"Yes, I do!" Oroku snapped. "You've lost it!"
"J-Jayden, why do you… why do you have fangs now?" I know Eevees don't naturally have fangs like that! Is Mew turning her into a vampire or something?
"I need something strong enough to snap my prey's necks in half." Jayden grinned wickedly. "Their bones are so tough, but the blood is so sweet."
I paled at this, "PREY!? Since when do you eat LIVING CREATURES and SNAP THEIR NECKS, and CHEW their BONES and drink their BLOOD!?" What is HAPPENING TO MY FRIEND!?
The shiny Eevee, if I could even call her that now, licked her lips, fangs glinting. "I need to do something in my passtime. You know what Pokemon taste that best?" She began to circle Oroku this time. "The Grass Types always have that soft crunch that I savor~" She pressed her paws on Oroku's shoulders, standing up on her hind legs behind him. "Their blood has the richest tas-"
"STOP!" Oroku was shaking slightly, eyes wide in horror at Jayden's words. "Just...stop…"
But Jayden didn't stop. "I wonder how you taste~" She bared her fangs, leaning her head down to Oroku's neck.
I quickly pounced her, "Jayden! Stop! You're not a beast eating predator! We eat only berries, gummis and food Mew gives us, not other Pokemon!" She ended up biting my paw with her sharp fangs, it HURTS! "GAH!" some of my blood began to trickle from it and she licked it up. I felt sick… what has she become?
"Dark Types come in close second to Grass Types on the tasting scale." Jayden smirked, and kicked me off her with her hind legs. "But I suppose that will have to stop sometime soon, since I'm going to evolve into Umbreon again soon and I can't be eating myself. Plus, I wouldn't want to eat my soon-to-be-partner in crime by accident, now would I?"
Oroku and I backed away from her… how had this happen? I knew Eevees and Umbreons have the potential to become predators if they wanted, but… the more domesticated ones don't usually…
"B-but… when did you started eating live Pokemon?" I dared to ask her.
"As soon as I realized that berries and gummies just don't fit it." Jayden chuckled. "My first prey… hm, I think that was that young Treecko~? Yes that's it… it didn't put up much of a fight. But it tasted great." Then she suddenly gave me a look. "But… since you're going to be my future partner… perhaps you should take a taste of true meat and blood."
"No! I would never do such a thing!" I spat in disgust.
Jayden ignored me and looked Oroku up and down. "Hm… he might be suitable for your first prey…" She muttered, almost to herself, but loud enough for Oroku and I to hear her.
"Oh no! Neither of you are going to eat me!" Oroku snapped.
Jayden suddenly clapped her paws together and Oroku was suddenly trapped in a pink bubble! "Wah!?"
Oroku tried to get out, he hammered at the bubble with his Vine Whip or tried to slice it with his Leaf Blade, but nothing works! It's like the bubble was unpoppable from the inside!
Jayden walked over to me and nudged me forward. "Alright, I've already caught the prey for you. Now I'm going to show you how to snap its neck."
I looked at her in horror, "I don't eat Pokemon, Jayden! Enough of this! Let him go! If you do I'll be cooperative to whatever it is you have in mind for me!"
"Oh, you'll be cooperative either way so it doesn't really matter." Jayden smirked and pinned me down. "Stay calm, I'm not going to hurt you. Now tell me how this feels." She leaned her head down and grabbed the back of my neck lightly, fangs piercing the skin. It was enough for some blood to trickle out, but not enough to cause real damage.
"It hurts! What are you doing!?" It felt like a Combee pricking me, but… oh dear Mew this better not be a were-wolf thing where she bites me and I turn into one myself!
Jayden moved away. "Did you feel my fangs pierce your skin?"
"It pierced my fur and my skin, yeah! My blood is enough to prove it! But why did you do it?" I demanded, hoping my theory is not going to come to be.
"It's the best place to bite the neck of the prey, to kill them quickly." Jayden said with a sadistic smirk. "Or you can prolong their suffering if you want."
"NO! I already told you I won't kill anyone!" I snapped at her.
Jayden's eyes narrowed. "Yes you will, Riz. And I'll make sure of it." She got off me and pushed me towards the bubble with Oroku in it. "Now, use Bite on the bubble, but don't stop. Aim for his neck and bite down as hard as you can."
"No! You can't make me and I won't let you." I hissed, making sure she heard my firm tone. "You can bite ME all you want, but I will never give in and hurt anyone else."
"Stop being so stubborn!" Jayden snapped. "I'm providing fresh meat right in front of you and you're turning it down?!"
"Jayden! I don't even eat meat!" I shouted.
Jayden suddenly put me down as if realization came on, "... You're right, you've never had the glorious taste of fresh Pokemon meat."
"... And I won't ever!"
The Eevee grinned and pushed me down on the ground. "Stay here~ I'll be glad to make the kill so you can cherish the taste of meat in your mouth." She began to walk towards the bubble. "Watch a master at work. Maybe you'll even learn something~"
I had to think of something fast before she kills Oroku! … Wait, I got it! "Jayden! Isn't Oroku part of Mew's chosen team? She'll be angry if you kill him!" She froze.
"..." A low animalistic growl erupted from Jayden's throat and she popped the bubble with her claw. Before Oroku could do anything, she pinned him to the ground and got right up in his face. "You are so lucky that you're on the team." She growled.
Oroku gulped, "Y-yeah, for once I'm glad I am…"
"Oh well, there's still plenty of Pokemon prey I can get for my partner." She smirked, looking at me.
"Can we please get out of here? It's way too pink!" I whined.
"No." Jayden snapped and started walking. "Follow me, it's time to start phase one." Suddenly a pink collar poofed around my neck with a leash, she grabbed my leash and began pulling me.
"Hey, what about me?" Oroku asked, not sure what to do now.
"Hn…" The shiny Eevee gave an exaggerated sigh. "You can follow I suppose. But you better not ruin anything!"
I guess after Jayden almost killed him, Oroku seems much more compliant to her, he just nodded and simply followed silently, not saying a single word. Jayden had us walking up the hill and soon came across a meadow with Pokemon. I didn't know there were any Pokemon in this pink book world.
"You're not… planning to kill them all, are you?" I asked her nervously.
"Not ALL of them… just enough to satiate my hunger… and yours." She smirked, showing me her bloody fangs.
