Sam shivered again. Why couldn't they have been trapped on a nice warm island instead of one that's freezing cold? "Sam, you okay?" The concern in his voice was her undoing. She shook her head "No, not really." "C'mere," He opened his arms and she didn't hesitate to walk into them. "God Sam you're freezing." That made her laugh "Yeah it's actually kinda cold here." "Yeah I noticed." He quipped. For some reason that made her start to cry "I miss him so much." She sobbed. "Shh, it's okay." He crooned into her ear. Her frame shook in his arms as she sobbed. "Sam calm down, for me please." She sniffled but did as he told. He peered into her blue eyes, as he tried to figure out how to calm her down without her completely breaking down in his arms. Well there is one option, and he found it quite agreeable. He leaned forward and pressed his lips to hers. Surprisingly (at least to him) she kissed him back. He ended it first "Sam," he started. "Shh, Jack please," She pleaded. He couldn't resist, she had just lost her father. He couldn't fail her too. "Alright." He relented. She eagerly pressed her lips back to his. The regs could wait, she needed him. "I love you Jack," she whispered. "I love you too," he whispered.
