"Somebody help!"Sully screamed as he carried Michaela in his arms into the hospial."She's having a baby!"
Michaela cupped Sully's cheek,"Calm down,baby. I'm not the first person to ever go through labor." she said as he gently sat her in a wheelchair.
As he leaned in kissing her on the forehead,"No,you're not the first woman to do 're my woman.I just want to take care of ya'."
"I know."she breathed as her forehead touched his."Everything will be fine.I love you."
Before he could respond a nurse interrupted him,"Sir,have you pre-registered with us for the birth?"
"I..I don't.."he stammered as he stood up to talk to the over at Michaela he noticed she was nodding her head as another contraction hit her."Yes..she has it..it's under Michaela Sully."
"Alright.I'll just check the computer."she said as she walked behind the nurse's a minute she returned to the couple."Alright,let's head to the maternity ward."
"AAAWWWW!"Sully screamed as his wife crushed his hand in hers.
Panting Michaela said,"That was a big one!"
"Are you sure you don't want some drugs?" Sully questioned his wife as he tried to regain feeling in his numb hand.
"I'm sure!" Michaela said nodding her head."I didn't have drugs with Katie.I can do this."
"If ya' sure." he said as he kissed her forehead.
"OOOHHHH!"Michaela screamed as she clutched the bed rail.
"OK...I changed my mind...I want the drugs."she panted as another contraction hit her.
"Doc..can she have something?"Sully questioned ,who was sitting on a stool at the end of the hospital bed examing his wife.
"I'm sorry Michaela but the window of opportunity has closed as far as the drugs are concerned." he said checking to see how far she was dilated.
"Well, open it..Open the damn window."Michaela panted as the contraction ended.
"Alright..Game time!" announced as he looked up between the stirrups."You are fully I say start pushing!"
"AAAWWW!"Michaela screamed as another contraction hit her.
"Look at all that hair!"Michaela said as she held her blue eyed baby boy as he nursed."Isn't he handsome!" she said smiling at her husband.
"Exactly what I expected!"Sully said as he held his wife and baby in an embrace in the hospital bed.
"We are going to have to think of a name for him."she said as she watched her baby nurse.
"Anything but Byron!"he said as he looked at his son.
"But I love Byron!" Michaela said as she kissed her husband's lips.
"And he loves you but no son of mine is going to have that name." he said as he gently touched his son's head.
"Fine..but it would be nice to give him a family name like we did Katie." she said sadly.
Smiling he whispered in his wife's ear,"I think I have the perfect name."
"They're here!"Katie screamed as she saw her parent's vehicle pull into their driveway.
"Calm down,Cutie!" William,Sully's father said as he tried to control his excited grandchild.
"Hey Dad!" Sully said as he opened the front door to help Michaela inside.
"Daddy!Daddy! Let me see!Let me see!" Katie said impatiently as she tugged on the end of Sully's coat.
"Hold on sweet girl!" Sully said as he picked his daughter up in his arms.
"Katie..I would like you to meet your brother William Joseph Sully." Michaela said as she peeled back the blanket that the baby was swaddled in.
'OOhhh,he's so little!"Katie gasped as she looked at her brother for the first time.
As Michaela sat on the couch with the children Sully's father patted him on the back,"I'm so proud of you son!"
"Thanks Dad!"Sully said hugging his father."I hope you don't mind about the name but since Katie was name after our mothers... we both thought it was only right our son was named after the best men we knew,our fathers."
"Son,I'm honored. And I know Joseph would have been too. God rest his soul."
"Go on Dad. Meet your grandson." Sully said smiling at his father as he made his way over to the couch to sit with his family.
A few months later...
Michaela stood in her son's nursery at his crib in the middle of the night as she watched the moon shine through the window highlightning his delicate jumped a little as she felt two arms encircle her waist.
"You scared me!"she whispered as she leaned back into a warm chest.
"Woke weren't there."he said as he leaned down to kiss her ear.
"I was just checking on him." she said as her hand laid on top of his at her waist.
"I don't know about you, but I think we make beautiful babies together."he said as he turned her around in his arms.
Her arms wrapped around his neck pulling him down for a passionate kiss."I agree."she said as the kiss broke leaving both of them panting. As she leaned in to bite his ear she whispered,"Why don't we go back to bed and work on making more babies."
As they made their way back to their room they realized this is where both of their hearts still lie..with each other and their family.
