He will be loved
Author's Note: I'm so sorry this has taken so long to finish. I can only explain that I got a new laptop and therefore lost all but one of my stories which I had saved onto a flashdrive. I had to start over from the beginning. So not fun!
"Sam, I thought we were meeting at the movies at 6, tonight." Gabe said when he had pulled open his front door to reveal a smiling Sam and a clearly nervous Dean. They kissed in greeting before Sam addressed his boyfriend's previous statement.
"Oh no; Gabe, we are still on for the movie date. I'm finally making you watch a movie with Robert Downey Jr and there's no getting out of it this time. It's just Dean had something he had to tell Cass." Sam offered as an explanation to his confused boyfriend.
"Finally, It's been years in the making." Gabe exclaimed.
"Yes it has; now would you mind telling him where Cass is." Sam replied.
"He's upstairs in his room; he's upset and somewhat angry right now though so be careful." He answered, giving Dean a warning. He knew what his brother could be like when he was upset. It was truly a scary sight.
"Dean, I'm sorry I pushed you but it's time Cass knows."
" I know, I am 25 years old and I am still mourning a love I won't give the chance to happen. That truly is pathetic." Dean exclaimed.
"I don't know where to start, what do I say?" Dean questioned Sam and Gabe.
"Tell him. Just be honest and share your feelings." Sam told him.
"Don't wait. He needs to hear it now." Gabe advised him.
Dean ran upstairs and before pausing outside of Castiel's room. He took a deep breath before pushing the door open and talking.
"Cass, I love you! I have liked you since I first saw you back in High School. You were sitting with Sam laughing so hard at something he had said that the apple you were biting dropped out of your mouth and rolled onto the floor. Eventually that like turned to love. I should have told you tonight how I felt. I was just so scared of rejection but here I am finally telling you."
Castiel just sat on his bed silent, not responding in any way.
"Well I've told you so I guess that's it then. I'll be leaving now."
"Wait, Why are you leaving?"
"Cas, I've told you how I feel and you didn't respond." Dean answered
"Dean, I was shocked. You pretend you don't know who I am most of the time. I feel the same way; I was just waiting for you to say something because I was scared and I wasn't sure if you liked me at all."
"Cas, You will always be loved. I want to be your prince if you will let me?" Dean spoke as he pulled Castiel closer to him.
"Dean, I love you. I think we have some lost time to make up for, don't you? I want to spend the day getting to know you better." Castiel said as he closed the distance between them and they kissed.
"Hold that thought though." Dean said as he ran downstairs.
"Sam, Gabe. Thank you both now you may leave. I want to get know Cass better.
"I don't think we're welcome around here, Sammy."
"We can get dinner before the movie then." Sam said eagerly.
"I don't want to see Iron Man. You know I don't like Robert Downey Jr."
"Well I do so we are seeing it." Sam said as he and Gabe walked out the door.
