PIPER

People ask me every day who I love. I say no one. They really can't know. I love the forbidden boy. The boy who is the Roman, the boy who is in love with Reyna. I can't have him anyways. He could be without one, but the other still remained. Both were reasons why he was forbidden. I hated how they would kiss. I hated how Jason would see her and smile like she saved his life. He never looked at me like that.

People expect me to be happy for them. They want me to think that even though Jason isn't happy for the reason that I wanted I should still be happy. The truth is, is that I will never be happy for them. How can he not see me? I look at him, and he still waves and smiles as if I never loved him. He treats me like a stranger now. I hate it.

"Piper, I need your help!" Leo yells in my ear. He knocks me out of my trance. I see the 'couple' and nearly gag. Then I say to Jason playfully, "Give me some of that." He laughs and shakes his head, "I only give it to my one and only Reyna." He says. He doesn't see how my heart breaks a little at that cement.

I laugh any way though. To show him how much I care. How can he not notice? "Piper, please I need your help." Leo yells at me again. I sigh and get up to help him. Leo just shoos me away and says, "Never mind, I don't need your help anymore." I sigh and go back to the dining room. I see Reyna run out crying.

I walk quickly into the kitchen and see Jason looking at nothing. I go to him and say, "What just happened?" He looks at me and smiles sadly. "Reyna told me how she and Leo have something between them. I told that she needed to choose. She chose him. Piper, she chose Leo over me." He says. "Welcome to the club." I say sadly. Then I put my hands to my mouth and I see Jason's mouth hung open. "You love someone Piper?" He finally says.

"Yes. I loves him so much. He chose someone else though. So I never got my happy ending either." I say sadly. Jason looks interested in my love life. He looks at me and says, "Who was it?" I look at him in the eyes and say, "I'm in love with you Jason. I've cared about you ever since I've laid my eyes on you. I wanted Reyna to go away. I never wanted to feel happy for you guys. I-I love you so much it hurts." He looks at me wide-eyed. "Piper I have no idea. I-I'm so sorry." He say apologetically. I sigh and say, "No need for sorry. You already made your choice. My life won't be complete, but your can. Go tell Reyna how much you mean to her. I promise you she loves you more than Leo." He nods. I start to go away. I look straight forward and never look back.
