"Percy?" I asked, poking my head into his cabin. I'd already talked to everyone else and had been dreading this moment.

He looked at me from his bed. "What do you want?"

"I want to know if... If you really ever cared. I want to know if you ever really loved me."

He looked at me like I was crazy. "What the Hades are you talking about? Of coarse I loved you. I still love you!"

I glared at him. I stared right into his cute, loveable, sweet- Gar! What is wrong with me? "Don't lie to me! I saw you with that, that-"

"I don't know what you saw, but it wasn't real!" Percy jumped up from the bed. "On the day you dissapeared I- Oh. I think I might know what youre talking about after all. Look, that morning your brother and I joined a group playing truth or dare. My dare from your brother was to kiss that girl, Tereasa, and you must have walked in on that. It wasn't real."

I stared at him. "Really? Percy, I want to believe you but... I will, I just hope that you're telling me the truth." He walked over and wrapped his arms around me. He held me close. Just like he used to.

"I am. I really do still love you Annabeth. Are you still going to leave?" He sounded so sad. I really was still set on leaving though.

That's when I had The Idea. "I still love you too. Would you come with me. You'll love it. Please."

He shook his head. "My whole life is here. Sally and Paul. Tyson. I can't. Would you be up for a long distance fling."

It wasn't ideal, but we could always skype. I nodded, to choked up to speak. I just didn't want to let go of him.
