I apologize for the long delay. I've been busy recently and my computer was sorta being a "female dog". Apparently I got it fixed and am now capable of posting once again.

So far, many of you have informed me that Shyrah should join Gohan's (unknown to him) harem. Shyrah will join the harem. Not now considering that she barely knows Gohan, but eventually.

Now I present a new chapter of A Demi-Saiyan for a Familiar!

Disclaimer: I do not own DB, DBZ, DBGT, or FOZ.

Chapter 20: More Secret missions

Our young demi-saiyan hero has faced many powerful beings during his lifetime. As a child he fought Frieza, the space tyrant was capable of destroying a planet on a whim. Not long ago he fought Cell, the bio-android boasted it could destroy entire solar system in a flash. Just recently he defeated Broly. The man could destroy an entire galaxy in a matter of moments and was a threat to everything in the universe. Yet, none of them would ever match the fury of his mother. No one could…..until now.

Gohan narrowly dodged one of many lashes from Louise's 'Crop of Pain'. The orange clad pre-teen "Eeeked" once he heard a sharp crack. He continued dodging each swipe from Louise's crop.

"Stay still!" The pink haired noble shouted.

The crop struck a table next him. He quickly felt envious of the inanimate object. Not being able to feel pain would be a very good attribute to have right now.

"Someone help me!" He prayed to whatever deity existed in this dimension.

As if someone heard his plea, a knock from the window brought the pink haired girl to a halt. Gohan sighed in relief. The windows opened and a figure wearing a cloak floated into the room.

"Oh. Hi, Princess!" he greeted. He knew it was her, but he was so busy doing what his mentor first taught him that he wasn't really able to sense her.

"Hello there Gohan." the princess of Tristein replied. "I would like to speak with you and you're master, Louise."

"Of-of course! W-what do you need Princess?" asked the pinked haired noble.

The Henrietta remained quiet for some time before speaking up again. "I've decided to marry Albert the Third of the Germanian royalty…."

"What?!" Louise voiced out. However, Gohan remained quiet.

"It can't be helped. Tristein is a small country…we need to make an alliance to protect it. Only Germania is willing to cooperate. If I marry their emperor…"

"It will strengthen the ties between your countries then you'd be protected." Gohan finished. It was sad, really. He knew from the tone of Henrietta's voice that she truly didn't want to marry this Albert. Henrietta just nodded solemnly. Gohan wanted to tell her he could protect her country so long as he lived. But that was the problem. He wasn't immortal nor did he want to be. With his saiyan genes, he would most likely out live the princess but he will die eventually. He gritted his teeth in anger, hoping that he could do more.

"That is why I came here. Before I marry Germania's emperor, I would like you two to retrieve a certain item." Henrietta said. "It is a letter I sent to Prince Wales of Albion. Should the world find out the existence of that letter, the engagement would be called off."

Both Gohan and Louise remained silent. They both knew that there was a rebellion in Albion. The rebellion, Reconquista, was targeting Albion's royal family and the king has already been killed. The princess shook and she was on the verge of crying. She didn't want to endanger them, no matter how powerful Gohan was.

"Princess…I will do everything I can to get that letter." Louise told her in a firm voice.

The princess smiled upon this. Suddenly everyone heard a "Sup". Everyone turned to look out the window to see a blonde girl flying.

"Hello there. I believe your name is Shyrah, daughter of Turan. Am I correct?" asked Henrietta.

"Yeah. I overheard that these two are going to do a 'request' from you. Mind if I join?"

"I guess not. But I wish to understand why you want to join?"

"I'm bored." she simply said.

Gohan sweat dropped while Louise fought the urge to strangle the full blooded saiyan. One: she was speaking in a rude manner towards the Princess. Two: she just didn't like her.

"I see. Very well. You may aid us." Henrietta said.

"Great! So when are we gonna go to this 'Whales' guy anyway?"

The princess's eyes twitched ever so slightly that Gohan barely saw it. "Two days from now."

"Huh? Why? With me and Gohan, we'd fly to this Albion place and get the stupid letter."

"This needs to be a covert operation. People will know something is up once they see two people flying. Especially someone with a tail." Gohan answered.

"Gohan is correct. This mission must be done in secret. I would also need to have one of my men join you." the princess said. Before the blonde haired saiyan could ask why, Henrietta continued. "It's to prove that you were sent by me. He requires time to prepare; that is why you will have to wait for two days."

Shyrah just nodded in acknowledgement. "Well, alright. Guess this will be a good way to pass time until the damn holidays are over. Can't wait to learn under a super saiyan!"

Gohan laughed sheepishly when Louise glared at her familiar.

"I did say everyone was welcomed to join the class." Gohan told his master while he rubbed the back of his head.

"Whatever." Louise said coldly, still glaring daggers at her familiar.

"Well, now that this is sorted out, I must return to the palace. Remember, no one must know of this." Henrietta told the three.

"Of course, Princess!" Said Louise.

"Well, I see you guys tomorrow. *Yawn* I'm beat." Shyrah said.

Once the saiyan and princess left, Louise continued to glare at Gohan.

"What?" asked the demi-saiyan.

"Humph! I'm going to sleep." thus the noblewoman climbed into her bed.

Gohan just stared at his master. He just didn't get her. She should be grateful and not like….this. He did help return her to normal after all.

"Girls are weird." he thought to himself. Then again he barely knew any girls, his mom and Bulma not included. Gohan shrugged and headed off to bed, should I say hay. He yawned and quickly fell to sleep. Unknown to him, Louise was still awake.

Louise laid in her bed for what seemed to be hours. She rolled over to see her familiar sleeping peacefully. She didn't want to admit it, but he was pretty cute when he slept. Her eyes suddenly became heavy and was about to fall asleep when she heard Gohan speaking.

"Dad." Gohan muttered. The boy tossed and turned. His hair flickered between gold and black, his muscles becoming more tense. "Cell!"

His eyes shot open and found himself in Louise's room.

"Just another nightmare." the boy thought. He'd have them every once and awhile, but now it was become more frequent.

"Gohan?" Louise said softly.

"Oh, um, sorry if I woke you up Louise." he apologized.

"It's alright. I guess everyone has a fear. Even you."

"Yeah…guess I'll go out clear my mind. Might do laundry too." Gohan chuckled a bit after saying the last part.

"Alright. Be careful."

Gohan smiled a bit as he picked up the basket full of clothes. "Sure.

He literally jumped out the window and quietly descended. On most circumstances, Gohan would've quickly finished the set of dirty laundry and head back to sleep. However, he was lost in thought. The image of his father smiling before his demise was still fresh in Gohan's mind. Small tears left his eyes. It was his fault that his father was dead.

"Son." came Goku's voice.

"Dad?"

"It's not your fault I died, Gohan. It was Cell's."

"But I could've finished it before you died! It's my fault!"

"Hey, don't blame yourself. If anything, it's my fault. I should've ended Gero when I had the chance. Apparently I didn't and it came back to haunt me after all those years." the young demi-saiyan remained quiet. "You did the best you could."

"I miss you dad."

His father chuckled slight. "Yeah, I miss you too."

"Goku!" King Kai interrupted. "It's hard maintaining a connection between dimensions ya' know!"

"Sorry King Kai. Hehehe…looks like that's the end of our little chat." Goku paused. " Son?"

"Yes dad?"

"I love you."

Gohan didn't hear anymore from his father. He felt as if a great weight has been lifted off his shoulders. With renewed vigor, Gohan continued washing his and Louise's laundry. He suddenly heard footsteps.

"Oh? Hi Gohan." called a girl in a maid outfit.

"Hey Siesta. What are you doing up so early?"

"Well, being a servant for the school requires me to wake up early. Are you doing laundry?" She asked and Gohan nodded. She was slightly irritated by this. "Why can't Louise just have a servant do it when you're a teacher?"

"I don't know, but I honestly don't mind. It sorta helps me clear my head." Gohan replied.

"Oh, I see. Since I don't really need to do anything, mind if I talk with you?"

"Not really. What do you want to talk about?"

"Well there's this one guy I like, but I don't know how to get him to like me." She blushed a bit before continuing. "Do you have any tips? Since, you know? You're a guy."

"Hmmmm…I don't really know. Is he nice to you?" She nodded. "Well, you're pretty so you could try to charm him."

Siesta blushed even more as she heard him say that. "W-wha? Me pretty?"

"Yeah! You're cute, nice, and hard working. I bet that guy would fall for you in an instant!" Gohan stated, genuinely meaning every word, not knowing that the 'guy' she was talking about was him.

Siesta's face turned bright red and fought back to urge to squeal. Gohan thought that she was cute! She looked down and began to twiddle around with her fingers. She began mumbling to herself. Even with his saiyan hearing, Gohan could barely pick up anything she was saying. All he heard was "Gohan….thought…cute…".

"What?" Gohan asked.

"Ummm… nothing!" she waved her hands. "Got to do….some servant stuff. Bye Gohan!"

She quickly walked away.

"Girls are weird." Gohan said aloud.

Done!

Yes, I know this chapter is very short but fear not! I have many things in store for Gohan, Louise, Shyrah and Co. The story has been plotted out with my limited knowledge of the FOZ universe. Since Gohan is far more powerful than Saito(God I hated him), events shall play out very differently. Gohan's powers and his experience in fighting will prevent him from doing the same mistakes as Saito. Because of that, the outcomes of his actions shall differ from that of Saito.

Also, I've also got some exciting news! A Demi-Saiyan for a Familiar has now 150 followers! Further support will lead to longer chapters and maybe even faster updates.

Please P.M. me if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.

See ya next time, 123GOHANZ OUT!
