Chapter one

3/15/2013,
Dear dairy,
Today Sam and I were going throw the attic and found a box of mom's stuff that said Collage stuff so being me I had to look in it. The box had stuff from when mom was in school at NYU .There was a photo that caught my attention it was a younger mom she was like my and Sam's age and she was with a young Red headed man with bright blue eyes that would match mine and Sam's so this must be my dad. On the Back it said Horatio and I NYU 1983. So I took the photo the hid it in the pages of you. Well I got to go. I have Forensic with Dr. Jace and its finals then Sam and I are heading to Miami for summer break it was my Idea Sam wanted to go some place she could shop till she dropped.

I should introduce myself after all that sorry I get off track a lot. My name is Stephanie Grace Tanner-Cain and I have a twin who is younger by 1 minute and 18 seconds and her name is Samantha Elizabeth Tanner-Cain and we lived with our mother Rachel Tanner before she died and left us our family loft in NYC it has 3 bed rooms her and dad lived In it when they were in collage and after she got a job as the State Prosecutor she bought it and then moved in to this house and the later Sam and I were born or that's what mom tells us. We know nothing about our dad other then he was a cop in NYC then moved to Miami and he has red hair and blue eyes like us. Let's see a little about me I am a tomboy and I have a birth mark on my neck that is a broken heart shape, and I love vampire books and I have my masters in Forensic Science and I am going for my doctoral I graduate next year.
Sam and I have the same degrees and she is a total girly girl and her birth mark behind her ear that is bunny ears that's why mom called her bunny. we maybe twins but we are polar opposites and we both want to meet our dad we have not seen or meet him in the last 23 years so…I hope we get to meet him and be a part of his life and any family he might have.
