Austin's POV

After Jimmy made Ally sign a contract, he left to let us all catch up on everything. I must admit, I'm pretty impressed. Ally might've changed her style, but she's still the same dorky girl I befriended a long time ago. And she looks amazing. The clothes she's wearing hugs her figure perfectly, and her wedges added a good four inches to her short height, and her hair perfectly frames her face and goes well with her skin tone, and, why do I sound like a girl?

"-stin! Hello, Austin!" Dez was snapping his fingers in my face. I blinked rapidly.

"What?"

"You've been staring at Ally for a while. Are you okay?" he asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I waved it off. I could tell he wasn't convinced, but he didn't question it. We joined the conversation the girls were talking about.

"Ally! When are you going to sing your song?"

"You guys were serious about that?"

"Yeah! What did you think we were doing?"

"Venting my feelings about Dallas out!"

"Who's this Dallas guy?" Elliot asked. The girls turned around to find Elliot, Dez, and I listening to their conversation. Ally turned a bright pink. We all noticed.

"Ooh! Does little Ally Dawson have a crush?" Dez teased.

"Wait, is it Dallas from the cell phone accessory cart?" I questioned. I faintly remember him. Ally would always do the weirdest things around him. Ally scowled.

"Yeah. It's Dallas from the cell phone accessory cart." She muttered.

"You don't sound too happy about him. I thought you liked him?" I asked.

"They started dating about a year after you left." Trish said. "They were going strong for two years, before they had this big date where Ally expected him to propose, but instead he told her he was going around the world baking with the most famous chefs and cooks you'll ever find. They broke up."

"A couple days later," Cassidy continued, "We went shoe shopping. There we found Dallas and his other girlfriend Meadow. Turns out there was no baking thing."

"After that, we got rid of everything that reminded her of Dallas and anything he owned that was in her house, and helped her vent her feelings and wrote a song for the first time in forever." (1) Mackie finished.

I blinked.

"Basically, you missed out on a portion of my love life." Ally muttered.

"So that douche just cheated on you? Girl, if I were you, I would get revenge on that idiot. He lost an amazing girl." Dez said with a snap of his fingers. Ally laughed.

"That's what they're trying to get me to do."

"We helped her write an amazing song about Dallas, but she refuses to sing it!" Cassidy said.

"Well I think you should sing it. I've never heard you sing, but if you could write a killer song, than I think you'll do a fantastic performance." Elliot grinned. Ally smiled, and nodded her head.

For some reason, that didn't feel okay with me.

"He's right Ally, you should go sing your song. I bet your songs are still amazing, and Dallas needs his ass whooped." I encouraged. Ally gave me the first real smile ever since I got here, but she cringed a bit. Oh, right.

"Still not a big fan of swearing?" She shook her head.

"Got it. Thanks for the heads up." Cassidy jumped up.

"With Ally singing again, one of us could get a video of her singing and post it online. If we tag Austin to the video, his fans will see it. Hopefully he still has fans from way back when who remember Ally. It might get the attention of the press and people will end up finding out about Austin and Ally getting back together again." She explained.

"That is not such a bad idea." Elliot answered.

"And we could use Dez's camera to film her." I added.

"And now introducing Ally Dawson back to the stage!" Some random guy's voice boomed.

"Dez, start filming!" Trish hissed.

Ally walked onto the stage and you could tell she was nervous.

"Um, h-hi everybody, I'm Ally Daw-Dawson and...a-and..." She panicked and ran off stage. I immediately rushed over to her.

"Ally what's wrong? You did so well back then."

"I can't do it Austin. I can't perform again. I'm scared of what everyone is going to think of me. I'm scared I'll get booed off the stage. I'm scared Dallas is going to laugh at my pathetic song. I'm scared of embarrassing myself." She looked like she was about to cry, and let me tell you this, it's a heartbreaking sight.

I grabbed ahold of her shoulder with one hand and tilted her chin up and forced her to look at me with my other.

"Ally listen, you are going to do amazing up there. Better than amazing. Dallas has no idea that he lost out on an intelligent, beautiful, talented girl. Your songs aren't pathetic. I know I haven't been here with you for a long time, but I remember how we fought through the music biz together. You can sing, play instruments, and write songs. Fantastic songs. Now go up there and show Dallas what he's missing out on. You'll do great. I believe in you Ally." I smiled at her.

And I really meant all of it.

She gave me a huge toothy smile and a bear hug. I wrapped my arms around her as soon as she did.

Just like the old times.

"They're doing it again."(2) We let go to see Dez, Trish, and everyone watching us.

"I hate to be the one to ruin this cute moment, but everyone is waiting for your song Ally." Trish informed. Ally nodded her head excitedly.

"Right. I can do this!" She walked up the stage in confidence.

"Hey guys! Sorry about that, but here I am now. I'm Ally Dawson and I'm going to be singing a song I wrote inspired by a special guy." She said, directly aiming that last part to Dallas. He squirmed in his seat. "It's called Release You."(3)

Yeah!

I used to build you up

To watch you tear me down

I'd always let you in

And let you kick me out

You used to make me laugh

But now you make me sick

Thought you were just so dope

But now you're full of it

Cause all day

And all night

I would take all your shhh (Your what?)

Even I had to laugh at Ally's refusal of cursing. She even included them into her songs! But I have to admit, her song is pretty amazing, and it's only the beginning!

Yeah all day

And all night

But I'm o-over it

It's all good, yeah baby, it's alright

I release you, tonight

It's all cool, n-no need, to think twice

I release you

Goodbye

Goodbye

Goodbye

Goodbye

Yeah!

You said you need your space

How 'bout a thousand miles?

How 'bout I change the locks

In case you change your mind?

I waited patiently

For you to come around

I used to hold it in

But now I'm freakin' out!

Cause all day

And all night

I would take all your shhh (Your what?)

Yeah all day

And all night

But I'm o-over it

Its all good, yeah baby, it's alright

I release you, tonight

Its all cool, n-no need to think twice

I release you

Goodbye

Goodbye (good-good-goodbye)

Goodbye (bye)

Goodbye (good-good-goodbye)

Hey baby, I, I know I'm good without you

Hey baby, I (ooooh)

Hey baby, I, I'll never think about you

Hey baby, I (ooooh)

Release you

Yeah

Cause all day, and all night!

Its all good, yeah baby, it's alright

I release you, tonight

Its all cool, n-no need, to think twice

I release you

Goodbye

Its all good, yeah baby, it's alright

I release you, tonight

Its all cool, n-no need, to think twice

I release you

Yeah

Hey baby, I, I know I'm good without you

Hey baby, I (ooooh)

Hey baby, I, I'll never think about you

Hey baby, I (ooooh)

She finished off breathlessly, but still smiling. Everyone at Mini's and some nearby stores cheered loudly for her, us being the loudest. I look over to Dallas, who was a beet root red and glaring at Ally, but she seems to care less. She ran down from the stage and hugged me.

"Austin! I did it! I sang my song and got revenge on Dallas!"

"I know! You're unbelievably talented Ally, don't you forget that!" After we parted from our hug, Dallas stormed up to us.

"Ally! What was that!"

"That was a song. For you." She deadpanned.

"Well that song wasn't necessary!"

"It made her feel better, that's what's important." I stepped in.

"Well it didn't make ME feel better!"

"And no one cares about your feelings." Ally said coldly. I was impressed. She never stood up for herself.

"Besides I asked you to come tonight so we could talk! You've been hanging out with some stranger you don't even know!" He spluttered.

"Actually, this is Austin. From high school. Remember?" A look of realization struck out on him. Then his eyes narrowed. I chuckled. I knew he never liked me.

"I remember him." He said viciously.

"Dallas! You need to chill out and let it go!"(4) We heard Trish say as she and the others approached us.

"And I'd like some alone time with my girlfriend." I said with a smirk as I wrapped my arms around her waist and rested my chin other head. His eyes widened, then narrowed again into little slits.

"This argument isn't over." He said before walking away defeatedly.

Soo...I'm pretty late again aren't I.

(1) WHAT UP FROZEN REFERENCE

(2) I thought this scene was adorable in Austin&Alias. :3

(3) I don't own Release You by Megan and Liz.

(4) WHAT UP ANOTHER FROZEN REFERENCE

I really am sorry, I just don't have time! The thing is, I get writer's block really often, but I also get small inspirations very often. None of my chapters are ever planned out. I get small inspirations and when I do I incorporate them into the chapter and hope it makes sense. I really am trying to update quicker, but I need inspiration. And less school. Definitely less school.

BUT I do tweet things very often so if you wanna check out my twitter is _WeAreTimeless :)

What did everyone think of our recent episode Princesses&Prizes? I honestly hated Chelsea. She was TOO perfect ya know? And I liked jealous Ally, but I like jealous Austin more. ;)

AND if you didn't know, Disney's new Play It Loud Soundtrack came out TODAY and has some of the season 2 songs: You Can Come To Me, Timeless, The Me That You Don't See, I Got That Rock and Roll, and the Glee Clubs and Glory Mash Up. Timeless is PERFECTION. It's my new favorite song and I am completely in love with it.

Question Of The Day: Which do you like more: the Harry Potter series, or the Percy Jackson series? (I'm talking about the books)
