"Hey Emi." The Hong Konger greeted as she ran over to her friend. "So, like, how's life, Ice?" Lien asked, now walking at a normal pace next to her friend.
The Icelandic girl sighed. "Didn't you ask me that a few hours ago or something along the lines of that, Lien?" Emilía asked her friend, taking a sip of her drink.
"First of all, I asked 'What's up, Emilía.'" Lien said, feigning that she was insulted.
"Its the same thing-/"
"It's not. Second of all, it was like-" She paused to check the time on her phone. "Three hours, fifty minutes and twenty five point six seconds ago. You gotta know these things. Especially now that we're like, dating."
Emilía spit out her drink. "W-what!? Where did you get that idea from?"
"I asked you."
"When?"
"Yesterday. Don't you remember?"
Emilía thought for a bit, trying to recall anything about them dating.
"Hi Ice."
"Lien."
"You're supposed to say hi."
"Lien."
"Yes, that is my name."
"Look at the time. It is two in the morning. Two. In the morning.
"I am fully aware."
Emilía smacked herself in the face, shifting the hand her phone was in. It is too early for anything. "Can't this wait until tomorrow... Or later in the day? Just... Not now."
"Nope.
"Why not?"
"Because it is like, a very important matter."
Emilía groaned. "What is it?"
"Do you like me?"
"Are you serious?"
"One hundred percent serious."
"Obviously; I'm your friend, aren't I? Now let me sleep, please."
"Let's like, go out."
"Sure, whatever…"
"Good night, or technically morning. Bye."
"It was two in the morning Li-" Emilía started, only to be interrupted.
"Again, I was like, fully aware. You agreed."
"I was tired."
"You still agreed. Sure means yes."
"Lien. I was tired and it was two in the morning." The Icelander sighed.
"Look..." Lein trailed of, putting her hand on Emilía's shoulder as she walked in front of her. "You are like, super cute when you're in denial." The HongKonger said bluntly.
Emilía narrowed her eyes. "What?"
Lien blew a kiss and began walking away. "Bye, sweetie."
Emilía pretended to catch the kiss and crush it in her hand, earning a gasp. "Sorry to break it to you, but I am not your sweetie."
"Stop ruining the moment, honey."
"You stop with the nicknames."
"No."
"Yes."
"No."
"Yes."
"Yes."
"I know the trick. I'm not Daffy Duck." Emilía said, sighing slightly.
Lien pouted and crossed her arms. "Fine."
"Good."
"Bye cutie." Lien grinned, before running off.
Emilía groaned, cursing at her decision of wearing heels she thought would look cute with her bow. She should've just worn flats...
She heard a little chime as she got a message.

Author's Note:
I re-wrote this because I looked back and it was bothering me because of how I wrote it. I tried to keep it pretty close to the original plot-wise.
I used Emilía for Nyo!Iceland because I haven't seen many people give her a name besides Eir (Eír? Forgot the spelling, whoops-/) and I wanted the name to be able to have "Emi" as a nickname.
Hope you enjoyed! Please leave a review!
