156Yes, I know that it has taken a very long time for it to be done but here it is, the real, action packed awesomeness that is the 10th chapter of The Steel Ice Fox. I own nothing of Naruto except the all the awesome that resides within this story. I'd like to thank all of the readers and believers that keep me going through the tough time. The thought of you guys reading and liking this story is what inspired me to keep writing. With that out of the ways, lets get to it. Also, I took the 2010 out of my name cause I realized that it looked kinda bad.
Bijuu - What up
Justu- Hyoton
As Naruto was walking back towards the ground, he felt a slight pull from the back of his mind. Realizing that it was Kyuubi, he opened the connection that allowed them to talk with each other. "Yes Kyu, how can I help you today?"
"Naruto, you signed the fox contract, that being said, there is now a whole lot more skills available to you now."
"Really, like what kind of skills?"
"Well, the foxes have been know for there skills in espionage, interrogation, genjustu, and last but not least, our own version of senjustu."
"Senjustu, whats that?"
"It's when you gather the energy of nature around you, and use it for yourself. It takes a lot of training in meditation and chakra control, in order to properly use it the senjustu to it's maximum potential. You would also gain physical benefits. But in order to use it, you must travel to mystery den."
"Wow, that sounds amazing. Can we talk about this more later, I got to tune back into the real world now."
"Ok, talk with you again Naruto."
As Naruto tuned back into the world going around him, he saw that he was just about to enter the training grounds. When he reached, he saw that Kakashi had already arrived. "Well, now that everyone is where, let's decide on whether team 7 needs a new gennin or not. Now Naruto, since you reached the title elite chunnin, will you stay as a member of team 7 or take to doing mid C to mid low B alone/with other chunnin, or maybe join the ANBU." As the rest of team 7 looked at him, he thought of the pros and cons of leaving and going at it alone/ANBU/Chunnin or staying.
"Well, lets think about this. If I stay, I'll keep doing D to low C rank missions, listen to Sakura, and have a set schedule. Pros, I get to train with Kakashi-sensei, an ex commander of ANBU if I remember correctly. I get to hang/train with Sasuke, and knock the crap out of Sakura often. That is the pro and con of staying with team 7. The con of ANBU, I have to keep my identity secret from almost everyone, and listen to almost everyone else while trying to work up in the ranks, and have a all work no play schedule. Pro, I get enhanced training, make lot's more money. That's alot more con than pro.
Right so, now the Chunnin/alone con. Less money than ANBU, not as many people to train/learn from. Pro, flexible schedule, more money than now, make a name for myself in the world, different people to learn from, and overall respect from other chunnin and gennin. Welp, that settles it." Turning to Kakashi, Naruto told him that he chose to work alone/ with chunnin teams, but promised to come back and hang with them once in a while and would take a mission with them if it was interesting enough. With that, he turned disappeared in an Shunshine.
- Line Brake-
A few hours later
Naruto walked into the Hokage Tower to get a mission, seeing that he needed a pay check in order to get the newest version of the intermediate fuunjutsu kit and scrolls. As he walked in, he saw Hitomi talking with another female. Judging by the look of her vest, she was at least chuunin.
"So I said to her, no I won't bet on him, he was the deadlast of his class. Makes me sad, I lost twelve paychecks worth betting on that Narumi girl. Anyway, later girl, got to get back to the office." As Hitomi said goodbye to her new friend, she saw Naruto walking up to her. Turing to face him, she waved.
Naruto waved back, "Yo, hows it going Hitomi?"
"It's going good Naruto-kun. Just talking with my new friend, she works at the vet. So, what are you up to?"
"Just going to get a mission, wanna come along, could be fun."
She nodded, so the two of them walked up into the mission office. Seeing that Iruka was handing out the mission, Naruto thought he could get away with something.
"Hey Iruka-sensei, think you could give me a B-rank mission."
"Naruto, we have gone over this not even a few months ago, only elite chunnin and jonin can get B-rank missions. You even have a new gennin coming with you. Baka." he said, shaking his head a little.
"Well Irkuka-sensei, I have the rank of elite chunnin, and low to mid chuunin skilled ninja with me, sides, I just want a lower level B. Is there really that big of a problem?"
Iruka sighed, "You do have a point, alright, let me look for one." He grabbed a couple of them, looking threw, and picked one and gave it to Naruto. "There, it's a letter to Kumo, suppose to increase the trading between the two and hopefully calm the tension between the two villages."
"Right, let's get going Hitomi." So they turned and walked out, not knowing that the seemingly simple mission would test the bonds of Naruto, his loyalty, his power, and a whole lot of funny shit is going to go down.
Alright, I know that it's not the usual length, but I have big ideas for whats to come when there on the mission. I'll give you a hint, seven is joining nine. an old friend returns and a crazy bitch shows up. Anyway, thank you all for reading, I also love the positive feed back from you guys so keep em coming.
