AN/- Hello, I have recently had too much crap to deal with...working on one story and then having writers block and then having another brilliant idea and working extensively on that and ignoring the other because I am worried about the writer's block. Any ways this is just a one shot that would deal with characters from a developing fanfic that I have...which is on hold...major hold (it's an SSOC, SBOC and MMAD) anyways I just had this vague idea and thought it would be nice if I shared it. Tell me your thoughts =)

Albus hadn't slept in almost a week, it felt like a week. It felt good to be home after the war. He had seen Minerva's expression when she had opened the door for him; she looked close to terrorized and relieved all at the same time.

The next day's prophet spoke about his accomplishments, the third day his wife had gone into labour leaving him craving for just some sleep. Albus wasn't complaining he loved his new family very much, he loved his three year old daughter and his new born baby girl but right now he wanted to get away from everybody.

Albus was grateful that Minerva understood, she had herself given him their comforter.

"I miss your smell...it seems to have lost it," she had said smiling at him as he had kissed her softly and made his way to the study where he knew he would not be disturbed. He lay down on the couch and pulled the comforter till his chin smiling as he felt his body relax.

"What were those noises?" He thought to himself as cold hands squashed his nose and were on his tangling themselves with his beard. Albus frowned, as he groaned as he could hear giggles coming from his beard. He opened one eye tiredly as he fumbled around in his chest pocket to locate his glasses and placed them on his crooked nose.

"You was snoring like a dragon pappa" said the little girl leaning against his body.

"I was?" he asked groggily looking at her amused as her mother walked in.

"Athena...let your pappa sleep," said Minerva ordering the child out. The tiny girl pouted, her lips protruded out like a little duck.

"But Pappa...you promised you'd read me Babbity Rabbity when you came back," she said horrified at the prospect that her father wasn't going to do what he had promised.

"Athena...let your pappa sleep...he'll read it later," said Minerva beginning to drag the child out.

"It's fine...I'll read it," he said Athena happily jumped over into her father's lap as he sighed and let her settle there before he summoned the book out of his desk drawer in the study.

"Albus...you're going to spoil her," said Minerva once she begun to notice that Athena had fallen asleep in the middle of the story. She stood to pick her up into her arms as the child lay there comfortably.

"She is my daughter...so what if I do?" he asked yawning.

"I am probably going to spoil Artemus just as much," he said stretching and taking his glasses off.

"Get some sleep," said Minerva leaning in to leave a quick kiss on his lips before walking into her daughter's room to deposit her sleeping form on her pink canopy bed Albus had forced her to agree into buying. She knew she was going to make sure Artemus did not fall for her father's eccentrics...however she had a strong feeling that she was going to be unsuccessful and would never in her right mind make her daughters fall from loving their silly father, after all she had.
