Feliciana joyfully walked into the back room of the pie shop, as she always did. Ludwig just stared ahead at the freezers as the waffles were almost done in the toaster.
"Good morning!" The once-again-alive girl piped up as she sat next to him. That, along with the waffles popping up from the toaster, seemed to get Ludwig out of his trance, and he took a plate for the two of them, handing one to her, careful not to touch her.
"Good morning." He replied softly. Feliciana took the plastic coating off of the strawberries and taking one out.
"Guess what today is~!" She said as she began to cut the strawberry into smaller pieces. Ludwig thought for a while before turning to her with a small smirk.
"World Hello Day." He said as he took out the waffles.
"Oh, so you finally put up my calendar of obscure holidays!" She said happily.
"Yes, and... Guten tag." He said as he set the waffles down on both their plates. "That's Deutsch." She nodded, looking impressed.
"Salve, dzieĆ dobry, ciao." She said, looking back to him, then to her food once more. "That's Latin, Polish, and Italian." Ludwig already looked impressed. "Although the Polish really says 'Good day' which I think is much better than 'Hello' because what does that say? It says 'I'm here, your turn to talk!' ... Kinda selfish." Ludwig chuckled and stared at Feliciana for a while. She looked up at him and smiled softly. "What?"
"Nothing." He said, although he continued to stare. He awkwardly looked back down to his waffle as Feliciana still looked at him. Then, a sudden question popped into his head as she began to cut her food.
"Am I your boyfriend?" A sudden silence filled the air and Feliciana looked up at him once more. "And I realize 'boyfriend' and 'girlfriend' are familiar trait labels... If in convention with something that's soaked in 'boyfriend' would be dripping with it. But we've never actually said it, and I thought we needed to find the relationship but," He took a deep breath. "Um, it might be helpful, in a familiar, trait way... The way created on a holiday... Greeting card, because it's still kind of nice to get a card... A-And are you going to cut me off with a yes anytime soon?" He said as he finally glanced to her once more, only to see her beaming at him.
"Yes." She said softly. He sighed in relief and looked away again.
