I really need to finish this story. This is the last chapter, so thank you all for sticking with me. I hope you enjoyed reading this story!

Vocaloid does not belong to me.

"Wait," I said. "Before we do anything, let's promise something."

It had been five months since Mikuo's and Kaiko's break-up and he was ready to move on and start dating again. After our discussion, he had begun questioning his sexual orientation, eventually deciding he was bisexual. Meanwhile, my feelings for him were stronger than ever.

"What is it?" Mikuo asked.

We had just gotten back to my house after school and were sitting across from each other on my bed.

"Let's promise that, if for some reason, this doesn't work out, we'll still be friends and, I don't know, pretend this never happened I guess..." I said.

Mikuo smiled.

"Sounds good to me!" he agreed.

"Alright."

Slowly, our hands inched closer together until our fingers interlocked.

We held hands and Mikuo used his free arm to pull me closer to him. I noticed how perfectly our bodies fit together as I closed my eyes and pressed my lips against his. A wave of happiness came over me when he eagerly returned the kiss.

As we kissed and held each other, we slowly laid down on the bed.

Soon, we had to pull away for air.

"You know," Mikuo mumbled as we caught our breath. "I'm kind of embarrassed."

"What for?" I asked.

"Oh, because..." he rubbed his chest against mine. "All this time, I've been so blind. How could I not see that the one who truly cared about me, was right in front of me this whole time?"

I pressed my forehead against his and looked into his eyes.

I can hardly believe it. I've loved him for so long, and now...he's finally mine.

"Don't worry about it, love," I told him. "From now on, let's just be happy together, okay?"

"Yeah," he nodded and leaned in for another kiss.

I hope that ending was alright. Wow, it actually took me two years to finish this, incredible. xD Thanks again for reading this. I've actually begun another fic about this couple because they deserve lots of stories and I do enjoy writing about them. It's called Strings and if you could check it out. that would be awesome.
