A/N: MERRY CHRISTMAS! I was able to steal back my laptop! HOORAY~ And my gift you wonderful readers with an update! AAAANNNNDDDD I have an idea on a new fanfiction (don't give me that look I can't help it)! Any Yu-Gi-Oh! fans out there? If so then I have the fanfic for yooouuuuu~ aaaaaaaaaaaaaafter I learn how to duel that is... I collect the cards but still don't know how after nearly ten years of being a fan xD ONWARDS!
Ronny's POV:
Not much later after we followed the elder candlemon, we were given the honor of witnessing the rest of the candlemon tribe chanting and dancing around a giant sort of candle with the same markings as the ones on the wall. Did i forgot to mention they were dancing with plants that looked four-leaf clovers? Strange little tribe, it is.
"Looks like a giant birthday party," Takuya commented.
The elder candlemon landed in front of us, "It's for you my friends! A welcome party!" He stopped to let us walk ppast, "Enjoy!" The elder had an arm outstretched to a fire, "Come closer; feel the warmth of the flame." All of a sudden, the other candlemon tossed the plants into the fire in front of us, causing the others to recoil with a gasp. The air began to fill up with some sort of fog.
Bokomon, standing to my left, held on of the clovers and stared at it in disdain, "Ugh, look at this, it's sleeping clover." I could hear Neemon say something, but I suddenly began feeling drowsy. I slumped to my knees then fell on my side, embracing the darkness that awaited me.
"-ny!"
I could hear someone trying to rouse me from the darkness.
"- the time!"
"Sis!"
Tommy?
"C'mon, Ronny! We have to get going!"
What the-?
"Hey, she's getting up."
I sat up, still drowsy, "Why couldn't I sleep some more?" I questioned as I rubbed my eyes.
Takuya looked to Tommy, "Man, you weren't kidding when you talked about your sis and sleep."
He nodded, "Yeah, she likes to sleep a lot."
Zoe glared at Takuya, "Weren't you the one saying we cant waste any time?"
It seemed as if a light bulb appeared above Takuya's head, "Right!" He then turned to me, "It's not safe here! We need to get somewhere else and quick!" Out of the blue, the candlemon began shooting fire at us, "Into the water!" he shouted. We all then dived in.
As we resurfaced, Takuya commented, "Well that was a good idea!" as he held a sputtering Tommy.
"I'll never complain about my alarm clock again!" Zoe cried.
We then commenced our swim downstream, "What a nice way to wake up," J.P. said sarcastically over the roar of the water. "Did we really have to jump in the river?!"
"Takuya said if we didn't we would get burnt up," Tommy replied calmly.
I appeared beside them, "How are you taking this so clamly?" I asked Tommy.
He turned to me with a grin, "I learn everything from you!"
I deadpanned, "That's not exactly a good thing, kiddo..."
"We'll be safe if we stay here!" Zoe reassured. "I bet fire digimon like candlemon can't get near the water."
"Hey, sweetcheeks," I called to her, "you may want to take a quick glancey-glance behind you."
"Huh?" Zoe voiced in confusion before I reinforced my comment with a point to look behind. She did and saw the candlemon hopping on the water. "EY?!" Zoe questioned in panic.
They then released another attack of fire towards us, "Oh, boy..." I took a large gulp of breath before diving under, hearing the others doing the same. We pulled up in a crevice between two rocks watching as the candlemon threw a tantrum. "Hehe," I chuckled with a smirk, "big mean ole' candlemon think they're good enough to find us when they're just a throwin' a fit!" The others proceeded to give me strange looks.
Takuya then looked to all of us, "I'll distract them. When I give the signal, you guys make a break for it."
"Some plan," Zoe commented.
"Hold on, Mr. President," J.P. started, "I don't remember electing you as leader of this club." He then turn to zoe, "Right?" She then proceeded to agree and inform us that since we're a team, there should be votes for agreements.
"I wanna help," Tommy comments, "but I'm too slow; you guys should leave without me."
I grabbed my younger sibling by the back of his shirt, "You really think I'd ditch you here alone?"
Takuya told us his plan about him recklessly and stupidly "snuffing" out the candlemon with Agunimon, even though, like what Zoe and J.P. said, he doesn't fully know how to control his spirit evolution.
"Here they come!" J.P. warned.
"Down, down, down!" I commanded as we plunged our heads under the water. When they were gone, we resurfaced. I sighed at the candlemon's stupidity, "Idiots..."
"Gee, thanks for the vote of confidence," Takuya said sarcastically as he pulled his goggles over his eyes. "Just get Tommy out of here," he said as he started swimming off.
When Takuya was passing me, I grabbed the strap of his goggles, "Oh, no, you don't, tough guy!" He looked at me in confusion, "You don't honestly think I'd let you off alone, did you?"
"You don't have to worry about me!"
"Au contraire, mon frere!" I prodded his forehead with my finger, "I'm going with you! You''l need some kind of stalling if your spirit whatever starts screwing us over!"
"No way!" he retorted. "How're you gonna be any help?!"
I deal with Tommy's bullies on a daily basis, thank you very much! You should be glad I'm letting you go and not grabbing you by your leg and tossing you back to the others!"
Takuya gave a growl of frustration, "Fine!"
"Ronny" Tommy called. I looked to him, "Be safe, okay?" he gave me a worried look.
"Pfft," I began, "you honestly believe those digimon can actually touch the supremeness that is myself?" I teased with false arrogance as I flipped my hair. He continued giving me the look, I sighed heavily, "Fiiiiine, I'll be careful." I looked to Takuya, "Let's get to it, goggle-head." I didn't hear his response because I quickly dived underwater.
A/N: That's all for today, folks! So, I hope everyone is happy with this update! Sorry if it isn't very long, but I haven't been to sleep and it's 5:39 A.M. over where I am. I'll see how much more often I can update, but now I have a comic book for art that I have to do. That's gonna be time consuming especially since I DON'T KNOW HOW THEY MAKE THEM LOOK SO DING-DANG GOOD. I don't even know how to make the cover, spine, and back of it, let alone how i would bind it with my pages that i have to DRAW AND WRITE MYSELF. Well, that's enough of a rant for today. Let me know if you're excited about the Yu-Gi-Oh! fanfic I wanna start! It's not gonna be very soon that I start it cuz I gotta learn to duel. No way will my character be a bystander! THANK YOU, GUYS! HAVE A GREAT CHRISTMAS!
