A/N: Ok, I promised updates, and I'll work on them don't worry! But I wanted to write another Chrisney one-shot first.
Everything she did was failing! Courtney just couldn't get to sleep. She groaned and pulled her covers up, then squeezed her eyes shut, only for them to fly open five seconds later. It was absolutely killing her that she was losing sleep over someone she shouldn't even be thinking about! It was wrong. It was disgusting. It was disturbing. But...she still liked him. The sadistic host. Chris McLean. And it absolutely did not sit well with her.
Courtney flipped her pillow over and tried to get comfortable. "UGGGHHHH!" She complained, rather loudly. She got up and put on a robe, and some shoes on of course. She was going to go downstairs and maybe just try to dip her feet in the hot tub or something, something to relax her. "It'd be so much more relaxing if Chris was just in your bed." Her mind told her. "SHUT UP MIND!" Courtney screamed mentally. She ambled over to the pool area and looked around, not like anyone would be awake anyway.
Courtney took off her shoes and dipped her feet in the hot tub, and while it did feel extraordinary, it didn't help with her sleep situation. It did feel nice though, and the pool area looked cool, all lit up and stuff. Courtney sighed and pulled her robe closer to her, it was super cold. She wanted to put her entire self in the hot tub, but she didn't have a bathing suit. Besides, how would it be when she got out? Like freaking Siberia probably. She was at least feeling at ease right now.
"Courtney?" A voice came from behind her. She screamed loudly and clenched a fist.
"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?! SHOW YOURSELF!" Courtney hollered, no longer feeling relaxed.
"Chill, it's just me." The mystery person stepped in the light of the pool, and it turned out to just be Chris. Why couldn't she recognize his voice.
"What the hell Chris? You scared the living shit out of me." Courtney said, still out of breath from being frightened.
"Hey well, if there's a figure sitting by a hot tub, you go make sure it's not a ghost you know?" Chris said.
"That made no sense whatsoever." Courtney told him. She sat down and put her feet in the pool, her heart still racing.
"What I'd like to know is why you're down here." Chris said, sitting beside her. Courtney felt a blush creep onto her cheeks, which disgusted her.
"Oh...umm...I was...awake." Courtney said lamely. Chris raised an eyebrow.
"Oh really now? Because I thought you were sleep-walking." He told her sarcastically. Courtney tried to punch him.
"I just couldn't go to sleep." She admitted.
"I came down here because of the ghost thing. Alejandro woke me up by coming in my room and asking if there was a mariachi band in his room. I think he was high or something." Chris explained. Courtney smiled.
"Maybe." Awkward silence followed that sentence until Chris slowly laced his fingers through Courtney's. She blushed again.
"You're a very attractive girl Courtney." Chris said bluntly. Courtney's blush deepened.
"Oh...you...are...handsome?" Courtney replied, stretching the word 'handsome' out. Chris laughed.
"I know." He said. Courtney awkwardly chuckled too.
"I feel this is a very wrong relationship." Courtney stated.
"It's only wrong if you tell people about it." Chris winked.
"You don't make sense."
"Yeah I know." Chris replied. Courtney swung her feet around in the hot tub nervously.
"So...would you like to come up to my room?" He asked. Courtney looked down.
"Yeah. No funny business though, ok?" She said. He obliged and they got up. Courtney yawned. "Thanks Chris."
"Anytime Courtney, anytime."
A/N: HA! It was sort of stereotypical, but I am proud of my work!
