123"Why are we here?" Gou asks exasperatedly as she trudges up to the top of the hill, where the supposed meeting place is.
To her relief Nagisa is there and is not one of his hoaxes, to try and 'improve her fitness' by making her walk everywhere. The last time he did that, he ended up covered in salt water, it wasn't Gou's fault that she accidently lost her balance along the edge of the beach and used Nagisa as a pillar of support.
Though Nagisa is present, he doesn't seem particularly excited much unlike 5 minutes ago, where he's excited tone had Gou to come up and meet him. Though the sight in front of her causes her to squint, is he sleeping? True to the fact Nagisa's eyes were closed and the grass that he is lying on looks like a comfy pillow.
Gou smiles down at her boyfriend and looks over the horizon. Nagisa's meeting point is on top of one of the tallest hills in Iwami, hence Gou's arduous journey but it did had fantastic views. Tough the idyllic scene is broken by a hand yanking at her arm pulling her down roughly to the ground.
Gou squeals a bit a lands with her legs splayed out and tugging on her arm increases as Nagisa lifts himself partially up to burrow, his head into her side, muttering, "Gou-chan."
Gou starts to blush as due to the angle that she was sitting at , the increased tugging was causing her skirt to ride up, "Nagisa-kun," Gou had dropped the suffix when they started dating but in moments of stress and embarrassment it usually came up, such as in this situation.
Nagisa frowns and opens his eyes, and looks at Gou then her legs then back up at Gou again, "are you trying to use your sex appeal against me Gou-chan?" He says grinning cheekily.
Gou bats him away blushing furiously, "pervert," is her only retort as Nagisa sits up fully and Gou uses his lap as a cushion.
"So why are we here?" Gou repeats her question as Nagisa starts to play with her hair,
"You said you needed some quiet time," Nagisa answers focusing on a piece of tangled hair, his nose scrunching the way it did when he was focused, which is a rarity.
Gou hums in acknowledgement, not only due to their increased work load due to being 3rd years. Nagisa had become captain of the swim club with Rei being the vice-captain and with more manager's joining Gou is equally busy.
"Also wouldn't you just want to spend time with you absolutely brilliant, boyfriend?" Nagisa asks holding up a peace sign which Gou couldn't help but to scoff at.
Due to their busy schedules, the amount of time the two spent together is reduced which is in addition to the constant teasing they get whenever they're affectionate to each other, which Gou often gets flustered at not that Nagisa minds.
"It looks at a penguin," Nagisa's voice breaks the silence and Gou looks up towards the clouds he's pointing at.
"Everything looks like a penguin to you," Gou remarks as she tries to figure out the shape of it, "hmmm it looks more like a rabbit."
Nagisa laughs, "You must be blind, Gou-chan, asks Rei-chan to let you borrow his glasses," after a second of thought he corrects himself, "actually, don't do that, they almost made me go blind."
Gou giggles and sighs, Nagisa was right she really did need this time of quiet and rhythmical stroking of her hair soon lulls Gou to sleep.
When she wakes the sun is much higher in the sky and she sees Nagisa face leering over hers, beforehand she would have jumped but she has become used to this routine, she smiles and asks, "what time is it?"
Nagisa looks at his phone, "time to go back," the two had the morning off lessons and therefore free to leave the school grounds.
Gou yawns and stands up brushing off the grass of her skirt whilst Nagisa does the same for his uniform. Nagisa holds out his hand which Gou takes as the two make their way down the hill back towards the chaos of school life.
A/N: Yayyy just pointless fluff, I kind off just wanted to write this scene, Also on another note it's been one YEAR WHOOOOOOOOP, athough I didn't manage to reach 52 chaps I sort of (semi) successfully managed to keep this up, and considering my fickleness, I'm pretty happy.
