Heeyy! I AM SO SORRY! I haven't updated in like, FOREVER! Well, on the bright side, I think my writing skills improved by A LOT, so I hope u still like the story. Also, I'm not sure if you guys noticed, but I try making May as modern as possible. This means that the clothes and the way she speaks will be more similar to our way of life. I find that I tend to like characters like that. :D
P.S. I want to end this story soon, so maybe around the end of this ARC. I'm thinking of killing off May as the end. Just a heads up! I always liked the sad endings (I sound emo...)
ALSOOOO May's full name is Boa May, but I made up that name before I found out about Boa Hancock and her sisters. So, they are not related.
Enjoy!
May's POV.
It didn't take long to drag Zoro out of the water.
And when we did, well, he wasn't happy.
Sanji, on the other hand, was dying. "What a idiot! Who falls off the ship while sleeping?!"
"SHUT UP, EYEBROW"
I put a hand over my mouth to keep from laughing.
Luffy burst out laughing. "You guys all look so funny!"
"You guys go drop off the gold. I'm staying here" I say.
Nami, Luffy and Usopp wanted to go exchange the gold for money.
"But I don't want to go with just Usopp and Luffy!" says Nami.
I shrug. "Sorry. Not interested"
She let out a final sigh and the trio left.
Robin prepared to leave the ship.
Chopper looks up at her. "Where are you going?"
"Book shopping. Would you like to come?" she smiles at him.
He jumps and hides behind a barrel. "S-sure.."
Robin chuckles and leaves the ship, with Chopper following her.
"MAAAYYYY~" says Sanji. "I'm going to buy groceries! Would you like to come?"
"Nah. Too lazy. Sorry" I walk toward the entrance of my room while waving my hand. "See you later"
I heard him sigh.
I jumped under the deck and walked into my room.
I ran my hand on the blade of the scythe. Cursed.
Yet, I don't give a single damn.
I fell on my bed, straight on my back, letting out a large sigh.
I let my eyes close.
So peaceful.
So alone.
My eyes open.
Wait.
Zoro didn't leave.
I'm alone with Zoro.
I changed into a black muscle-tank and white shorts.
I still had no where to keep my scythe.
I hated the strap I got from the Foxy Pirates.
It looked so...ew.
Maybe I could ask Zoro if he had anything I could use.
I mean, he carries three swords, right?
I stood up and started to climb the ladder that lead me to the deck of the ship.
I opened the door above my head, and was about the climb out.
A large force hit my head, and I was sent tumbling down.
I rubbed my head. "What the hell?!"
I looked up.
I. Was. Stepped. On.
OUCH MUCH.
Zoro's POV.
"Damn pirate hunters" I say.
I had just finished dealing with a bunch of, well, pirate hunters that call themselves "The Franky Family"
Could they at least get a better name?
"Zoro..." I hear May say behind me.
I turn and grin. "Hey"
She was looking at the deck, her head down.
"Um, May" I say walking closer to her. "Are you okay?"
She was shorter than me, so I had to bend down to see her face.
Suddenly, she looked up.
Shadows covered her eyes, but I could see a evil glint in them.
I'm screwed.
She punched me, and sent my flying face first toward the deck.
"Ow" I saw rubbing the large bump on my head and sitting up. "What was that for?"
"For stepping on my head" she says casually and sits beside me. "Wanna do me a favor?"
My mouth drops open. "Wait wait wait wait wait. You just punched me, and now your asking for a favor?"
She gives me a forced smile. "Yeah, kind of. BUT, you did step on my head, so now we're even"
"Its not my fault! I was fighting off some damn pirate hunters" I say.
"Fine! Gosh" she says getting up. "I'll just go and buy one"
"Buy what?" I ask.
Honestly, I didn't care.
I just didn't want her to leave.
"A sash, or something I can use to hold my scythe"
I think. "I think I have a red one. Its old, but I think it should be able to hold your scythe"
She beams. "Thanks Zoro!"
I lead her to the room that me, Luffy, Usopp and Sanji share.
I kept all my stuff in a bag, so it was easy to find the sash.
I threw it to her.
She looked at it, then at me. "I owe you one. Wan-" Her expression changed into a 'oh shit' one.
"What happened?"
"Um. You know how I hit you on the head? Yeah, its swelling up"
I touched the bump, and felt immediate pain. "Aren't you gonna say anything?!"
She shrugged. "Oops?"
"There" she says tapping a large bandage over the bump. "I saw Chopper do this for Luffy once. I'm not sure what to do about the swelling though"
I sighed and sat down on the bed.
We were in Chopper's office right now.
She sat down beside me.
There was an awkward silence.
May was the one who decided to break it. "Well, I'm going out side. This is getting awkward anyway"
She hops off the bed and heads toward the door.
I couldn't help but stare at her.
She had beautiful, fair skin. Her hair had gotten longer, and her bangs looked some-what similar to Sanji's now, just a little shorter. She had a slender build, but she had a nice body. She was quite tall, being almost Luffy's height. Her bright blue eyes always caught my attention. Her lips looked so moist.
I sigh. I think I'm becoming Sanji.
"Zoro!" I hear May yell.
My head shoots up, only to come face to face with May.
She was half standing-half sitting on the bed.
Are you okay? I called you like three times" she says concerned.
I nod.
That's when I realised how close our faces were.
I could literally feel her breath against my lips.
May's POV.
Zoro's cheeks started to turn slightly red.
Ooohhhh.
Its because our faces are like, an inch away from each other.
I never realised how small an inch was.
I smirked. Maybe I'll tease him.
I bring my face closer until our noses were touching.
I let out a large sigh, my warm breath hitting his lips.
"M-May" says Zoro. "W-what are y-yo-"
My hand touches his cheek, which shuts him up.
My hand trails from his cheek to the back of his neck.
Zoro was breathing faster, but his breath was still warm against my lips.
I felt kind of bad. Maybe I should stop, but Zoro beat me to it.
He moved away from my face.
I was about to let go of his neck when he started to nibble my right ear.
This time, it was my turn to blush a thousand shades of red.
One of his hands wrapped around my waist.
His lips trailed away from my ear, and down my neck.
"Z-Zoro" I manage to say.
His lips leave my neck, leaving it feeling empty.
The moment he sees my face, he laughs. "Your cheeks are brighter than a tomato!"
I let go of his neck. "Shut up. I'm going to the deck"
I hear him sigh as I walk toward the door.
As I touch the handle of the door, Zor grabs my wrist and spins me around.
"What the f-"
Before I could finish, something had hit my lips.
Oh yeah, that 'something' was Zoro's lips.
His lips were so soft against mine.
I was pretty flustered, so I just stood there like an idiot while he kissed me.
After I got my senses back, I wrapped my arms around his neck and ran my fingers through his hair.
Zoro's body was pressed against mine. His body heated mine.
His fingers trailed up my hips, moving toward my waist.
I pulled back for a breath and smiled at him. "Not bad, Zoro"
He grins and leans in to bite my lower lip.
I open my mouth slightly.
"Excuse me?"
I push Zoro away from me with all my might and look toward the window.
"USOPP?!"
