A/N- I wrote this little oneshot/drabble type of thing the other day upon reading a particularly annoying chapter of a story in which George is apparently clueless to Hermione's love for him. So I wrote this for my own satisfaction. It's short, it's sweet, and it satisfied my irritation. Oh yeah, almost forgot. I don't own Harry Potter. I borrowed all the characters for my own ends.

"George Weasley is so infuriatingly dense!" Hermione yelled.

Lee Jordan appeared, "What did he do now?"

"He's going on a date," she frowned. "He wants me to close up the shop for him so he can get ready for his date." She felt tears coming, "He's never going to see me as more than his friend, is he Lee?"

Lee felt bad for Hermione. He pulled her into a hug, "I know exactly what to do. Just leave it to me."

George gathered himself together, he cleaned up nice. He was about to leave when Lee appeared through the floo. "You're an ass George."

"What? I have to leave for my date Lee. Cecilia is my first date in a long time. You should be happy for me."

"Happy? Happy?" Lee pushed George into the wall, "You have a woman, right downstairs, who would do anything for you. Who loves you you insufferable ass; a woman who loves you and that you won't pay a second glance to. And she's been patient. She's waited. She's hoped you'd finally notice her; hoped that when you were jealous of me hanging out with her it was because you actually loved her. And you're breaking her heart by ignoring her completely and then taunting her with the fact that you are taking some other girl, a stranger, out on a date. So either march down there right now and ask her out and apologize, or tell her you're not interested. I'm sick of seeing you put her through this hell. I never want to see Hermione cry like that again. And you making her cry," Lee glared at him, "you're cruel, George."

George stared at him. "Hermione…Hermione likes me?"

"Loves you," Lee corrected, "and she has for a long time. Quit toying with her emotions."

George looked at Lee, "You're sure?" Lee responded by smacking George upside the head.

"Go on your date, George. But when someone grabs up Hermione don't act all surprised when you didn't give a damn when you were dating someone else."

George went into the back room to see Hermione doing inventory. He just watched her until Hermione spoke, "George? I'm almost done. You should be on your date."

He shook his head, "I can't go on that date. I realized something."

"What?"

He walked over to her and kissed her, "That I love you. I'm sorry I didn't see it sooner. I thought you just saw me as your boss, as Ron's big brother. But Lee said…"

Hermione kissed him amorously and George returned the kiss with passion, lifting her up and sitting her on the workbench as their kisses grew even more intense. He fumbled with her robes before removing them and tossing them aside. She got him out of his and now, wearing just their clothes, the kisses grew more frantic. "George!" She gasped as his mouth was on her neck nibbling at her soft skin.

"Can I escort you home?"

"That depends on how long you stay," she whispered.

George smiled and picked her up, her legs wrapping around his waist. "I think forever is a good start," he said.

"Me too," she deepened the kiss and George Apparated them to her flat.
