I woke up to this song and instantly knew it was Laxus-kun, because of Mayu-chan. When I took her to meet Laxus-kun, she took my phone and immediately put his ringtone as that, right in front of him. I chuckled at the memory, his face was truly priceless. I realized that we were moving in an unknown vehicle. I jumped and grabbed my iphone and answered and noticed I was in a taxi. I wonder who put us in one.
"Hello" I said, politely, even though inside, I was totally happy he called me not the other way around.
"Hey, babe" A masculine voice said, from the phone. My hand began to shake. I'm so happy, it's been monthes since he last called me. A small smile stretched across my face.
"Laxus-kun, how are you?" I say, trying to sound nonchalant but failing...miserably.
"Eh, the usual, ya know, how about you?" He said, sounding casual, I lifted an eyebrow. I know he doesn't want to hear about me. I felt my heart speed up. He is so sweet.
"Lucy?" He questioned my silence. I shook my head.
"Ah, sorry" I said apologetically.
"No, its fine, anyway can we meet somewhere, tomorrow?" He said a bit anxiously. I felt my heart skip a beat. He's never nervous, always self confident. Aww, he's nervous over me, how cuteee.
"Yeah, sure, where do you wanna go?" I said, not even trying to hide my excitment, a happy grin on my face.
"Renee's cafe, at 6 on Saturday" He said back to his normal cocky self.
"Thats good cause I missed you" I say, slightly tearing up with a watery smile. He makes me so freaking emotional.
"I, uh, missed you too" He says, with hesitation. The smile dropped from my face, he hesitated. My heart clenched, painfully in my chest. What if he... Oh God.
"Great, I'll see you tomorrow, Bye" I said, hurriedly as I ended the conversation. I sighed as my heart ached in my chest. Tomorrow will just be good, I smiled at that happy thought.
"So, where are you guys meeting?" A famaliar soft voice said beside me. My head snapped to the side to see Mayu-chan's redish brown eyes staring at me intensely and I turn my smile to her.
"We're meeting at Renee's at 6" I said softly, my voice slightly cracking. Mayu-chan, who has amazing hearing heard it, she frowned. I know better than to try to hide something from her, she'll just be her devilish self and weesle it outta me.
"Lucy, I have something to tell you" Mayu-chan said, staring at me, seriously. I immediately lose my smile and felt my heart speed up. I know Mayu-chan is serious because her usual expressive eyes are narrowed and guarded. This has got to be important.
"You remember how I disappeared for a little while at Fairy Tail Industries, right?" Mayumi said, red eyes boring into my brown ones.
"Yeah?" I prompted, slowly, a frown on my face. I didn't like where this was going.
"I saw a familiar shade of blonde hair and it wasn't yours, I followed it out into the hallway to see them kiss the sister of the girl who watched the girls with Master" She said all in one breath. Blonde? Not Laxus-kun, obliviously... right? I pleaded with my eyes to my dark haired friend. She shook her head, I felt a tear slip down my face. My heart hurts... why does this always happen to me?!
"M'am, we're here" The taxi driver said, the vehicle stopping in front of our house. I quickly wiped my face and flashed a quick smile at the taxi guy and Mayu-chan who was still watched me. I got out the car letting the cool afternoon air brush across my face. I went in and grabbed my only baby with Mayu-chan and her girls trailing behind us silently. I quickly got into our apartment and put Layla in her bed, kissed her goodnight and left to my room.
"Let me know if you need me" I heard Mayu-chan say quietly as she shut the girl's room and walked to her room. I chuckled a bit, even if I wanted her to awake when I wanted to talk, she wouldn't talk, she sleeps like a dead person. The only way to wake her up is to let 'Lii-chan & Dee-chan cry'. She's guible when it comes to her kids.
