This one... This one's even better. Song of storms. Again. But this is a different arrangement. This one is a cello player that does lots of different songs by himself and arranges them and it's really really cool.

Anyways. This one actually makes me feel emotional for some reason, crazy as it sounds. My sister said it just tells a story, but I feel like it's more than that. listen to the video (with in the background, courtesy of Agent Jerry, also on Youtube.) Anyways. Stop listening to me ramble about how touching it is. Listen and read!

But! before you do, read my A/N's before each line and imagine a short little scene/cutscene like that.

TanookiTales on Song of Storms (Cello ensemble - Cam Wilkinson)

- Song of Storms -

(A/N) Link (young, OoT-age) is standing in a field, when an old man comes up. The old man looks down at him as he grabs his shoulders and says:

Round n' round,

Round n' round,

Sing it fast and sing it loud.

It will never stop,

The wind will pick up.

Listen boy,

Listen boy,

Fill your heart with love and joy

The song of the storms,

Hath start.

The old man grins and walks away. Link looks after him, mystified.

Link is about the same age, a little older. He is walking in the field, talking to himself.

Dash of wind,

Pinch of rain

Form a mighty hurricane!

Lightning will - a - strike,

Children will - a - gripe.

Play the song,

Play the song,

You will never have too long,

The song of the storms,

Has stopped.

He stops walking with a light frown on his face and looks up at the sky.

Link is even older and squints at the sun. He stands in the field, occasionally kicking the grassy hill.

Brightest rays,

Sunny skies,

Everything is oh so dry.

Everybody cheers,

Thunder clouds are clear

'Nother day,

'Nother day,

It is just a time away!

The song of the storms,

Will start.

He grins and looks down to the ground with a glint in his eye as raindrops start to fall lightly to the ground.

Link is an adult, talking to himself yet again. He paces around the field, nervously fiddling with his hands with a blank look on his face.

Tragedy,

Tragedy,

As far as the eye can see,

Houses burning down

Rubble to the ground

Don't you see?

Don't you see?

What can cause a tragedy.

The song of the storms,

Won't stop.

Link starts yelling at the end, then running, running for his life.

He looks tired and restless, like he hasn't slept in months, if not years. A young boy walks up. The boy has the same mischievous look Link had when he was younger.

Famine death,

Lust despair,

Nobody will ever care.

They have all lost hope,

Everyone hath croaked.

Listen boy,

Listen boy,

Never lose your heart of joy,

The song of the storms,

Has won.

Link finally looks tired and relieved, like a huge wight has been lifted off his shoulders.

He begins to walk away, his voice growing smaller with his image.

All been said,

All been done,

We all went from much to none.

Greed rush to our heads,

Everyone has fled.

So I play

This one song

Even after it's long gone,

The song of the storms,

Comes back.

The boy seems a little frightened, like he saw a ghost. Perhaps he did.

(This last part I made up, as if the song starts over. This phrase is mine! Hooray for being unique!) Link stops walking at the edge of the field, the entrance to a temple. The Temple of Time. He hears a faint voice.

Fade away,

Fade away.

Go, begone just like the wind.

Hero of Time,

You had lost your mind.

Rest right here,

Rest right here.

This is where your fate shall end.

This curse forever here spend...

Link lays down in the soft grass and slowly fades away. He has a small smile on his rested face.

The boy is walking around the field, looking distraught. Something troubles him. Suddenly, a too-familiar adult walks up and puts his hands on the boy's shoulders. He says:

Round n' round,

Round n' round,

Sing it fast and sing it loud.

It will never stop,

The wind will pick up.

Listen boy,

Listen boy,

Fill your heart with love and joy

The song of the storms,

Hath start...

Link's ghost smiles and walks away. The boy stares after him, mystified.

Doesn't it make you want to cry? So freaking beautiful. I did make up those last two stanzas. Well, I copy and pasted the second phrase slash lyrics, but the directions are mine. Pretty unique. Like a loop...Forever...Playing the Song of Storms...Like a curse...Just don't get caught up in it!

Anyways. I gotta go to bed. In other words, I'm going to go play Minecraft. \^u^/ (party!)
