Summer, 1954/3:43 P.M./ Bikini atoll

The historic day of which a bomb detonated on March 1, 1954, at Bikini Atoll, Marshall Islands, as the first test of Operation Castle. Castle Bravo was the most powerful nuclear device ever detonated by the United States (and just under one-third the energy of the Tsar Bomba, the most powerful device ever detonated), with a yield of 15 megatons of TNT.

It was supposed to be secret.

When people found out, they covered it up as a nuclear test. They destroyed the footage of what really happened all those miles away. The true location of their detonation.

The intention of their detonation.

And the seconds that revealed it.

"And three..."

The waters around the beach churned violently.

The waters began to part as if something was rising.

Before the bomb hit it's target one watching would clearly see a mass of flesh 900 times the size of a blue whale, with an array of 123 dorsal spikes.

And a reptilian face that would haunt them.

A creature sure to rise again.
