Warmth
(Missing scene from the end of episode 2.08, 'The Things We Bury'.)
. . .
He finds her in the lab some time after returning to base, looking haggard. Little wonder. He's heard all about Bakshi from Mack, and patching Tripp up can't have been easy, despite the groundwork performed by Skye's psycho dad.
He hesitates, driven forward a moment later when she kneads her forehead and sighs so dejectedly it makes his heart ache.
"So…"
She looks up as he approaches, smiling. It doesn't reach her eyes.
"I've heard you've found some papers. Signed by Agent Carter."
Her face brightens and she's her old self again. All brightness and warmth.
He basks in it.

Fancy Dress
(Academy Years)
. . .
"I look more like Six," said Fitz firmly.
"But you're Scottish," argued Jemma. "And let's face it. It's easier to get your hands on a pinstripe suit and converse than a clashing eighties wardrobe."
Fitz stopped short in his walk across campus, Jemma nearly plowing into him. He crossed his arms and arched a speculative brow. "This wouldn't have anything to do with your little crush on David Tennant, now, would it?"
Jemma scoffed a 'no'. "I just think I'd make a passable Rose Tyler. Blonde wig, and voila!"
Fitz narrowed his eyes, then heaved a resigned sigh. "Alright, fine."

Reunited
(AU, in which Fitz leaves S.H.I.E.L.D.)
. . .
It was small; a blink-and-you'll-miss-it kind of place, wedged between a café and a charity shop. The rusting sign above its sole window read 'Fix It', flanked by a pair of cartoon screwdrivers whose eyes seemed to glower accusingly at Jemma as she reached the door.
She hesitated, sucked in a calming breath before entering.
Her nerves returned ten-fold as she spotted him bent over the messy counter, prodding away at a toaster.
"I'll be with you in a—" He glanced up, eyes widening in recognition and alarm. "—Minute…"
Jemma smiled tightly. "Hello, Fitz."
