A/N:

Hey, everyone. I know it's has been a seriously (or, siriusly, get it? Haha? Ya... Bad joke. You probably want to drown me then stab me with Riptide, I know.) but I come to a serious decision.

I'm going to re-write this whole damn story. (Excuse my language) I know, I know. I don't update in years and come back with this news. But, I went to skim through it because we recently moved (for like the third time) and I finally have enough time to write again. And I just want to get the feel of where I was heading with this story.

And I noticed a lot of things. Many, many bad things for an author to do. I showed so much favoritism in this, I realized. And I remembered why it was like that because I would start writing while being obsessed for one series over the other at that time. My writing was highly biased each chapter.

Needless to say, that is very bad. Very bad.

So, I'm going to redo this story. (My writing skills have improved much, I promise you all.) And I'm going to even out the time lines as much as I can, not be biased as much as I can, and stick to a good plot.

I hope you all don't hate me. I'm serious, I love you guys so much. I'm so sorry for being a procrastinator. I really am one.

I am going to take down the story so it won't distract and lead be back to my old plot line. I will warn you, some things might be similar. But things might be different as well. You all will just have to see when I repost it. It won't be too long, I'm already halfway through with the first chapter.

I think you all will be pleased to know that I am back and I will be returning with a much better story than I have now. And I do also plan on posting it on Wattpad, if you want to read it there. I don't mind.

There is one thing that I will not change, the title.

Even when I repost it, it will be The Forge's Daughter.

I hope you understand and forgive me.

Love you all,

-J.J.
