Three months later…
"Good morning… is what I would say, but it's already half past twelve. You slept in again." Viola stated.
"Whose fault is that? From the moment I decided to stay here, I could never get a peaceful night's sleep thanks to you. So, it can't be helped." Ellen responded as she turned her body away from Viola and basked in the comfort of her own bed. Of all things in the witch's house that had changed her own room had remained very much the same. It was just cleaner and much more hospitable to live in which she grew to appreciate.
A moment of silence passed. The pair of witches lay in bed with nothing, but a silk sheet between them and their exposed skin. Various spell books were scattered across the room. Some of them belonged to Ellen, but most of them were new ones which Viola had collected over the years. Ellen read them whenever she got the chance, but she never got very far with how aggressive Viola was. One thing led to another and this was always the result, not that she minded.
"You never objected to it. In fact, you're the one who's been taking the initiative lately." Viola whispered into her ear as she wrapped her arms around her and pressed her bare breasts into her back.
Ellen blushed as she recalled all the moments when she pushed Viola down. She was becoming more like her the longer they stayed together, but she didn't really mind that change either. It just meant she was adjusting to her new life without any problems. She even took to staying in her witch form when she got over the embarrassment, but also because it made keeping up with Viola impossible otherwise. With those thoughts in mind, Ellen turned around and faced her lover. "Like I said, it can't be helped."
Before Viola could react, Ellen silenced her lips with her own. As if replicating all the times she was assaulted, Ellen gave Viola a dose of her own lewd medicine. Their tongues wrapped around each other as they were locked in a battle for dominance rather than it being the usual one-sided affair. Despite Viola's overwhelming aura, Ellen's experience thus far ended this make-out session in a draw. "You've gotten very good at kissing."
"I've had plenty of practice." Ellen smiled.
Just when they were ready to take things even further, they both stopped.
"That girl has the worst timing." Viola sighed as she begrudgingly got up from the bed.
"You should go. It's not good to keep your 'guests' waiting." Ellen stated.
"I guess you're right. It's not like we haven't done it plenty of times before." Viola snapped her fingers and in instant she was clothed in her usual dominatrix outfit. "Come down when you're ready."
"Yeah, that's not happening." Ellen responded as she pulled up the sheets and went back to sleep.
"I was planning on making those little pastries you love so much, but if you don't want them then…"
"Fine, I'll come down later."
Satisfied with the response, Viola left the room. The moment she was out of sight she engaged her wings and flew through the house till she reached the foyer. Coming to a stop in front the two large double doors, she wasted no time in opening them. "Welcome to the witch's house."
"Viola!" The raven-haired girl yelled as she latched onto her target.
"It's good to see you too, Dawn." She responded as she gently pet her head. Her eyes then drifted to the familiar looking woman standing behind the girl. She had pale skin, blue eyes, and short hair which barely reached her shoulders. Even her outfit was a blue dress of similar design to the one the child wore. There was no mistaking who this person was. "You must be Dawn's mother."
"Yes, my name is Aya Drevis. I've heard so much about you from my daughter. It's nice to finally meet you." The woman greeted as she extended her arm.
Viola eyed her before extending her own arm and shaking her hand. "It's nice to meet you too, but I'm surprised that you'd actually escort your daughter here. After what I did, I fully expected the village to be afraid of me."
"It was like that for a time, but shortly after that incident monsters have been sighted near the village. Then some people claimed to have seen you and the other girl destroying them. Those sightings became frequent enough that some people around the village started to change their mind about you while the others still remain wary. To be honest the village is split on their opinion of you." Aya explained.
"I guess that's my fault for not paying attention to my surroundings when we were eliminating those pests." The super witch sighed.
"Indeed."
Just then, Viola sensed a presence directly behind her at the center of the foyer. In an instant, she called upon her snake-like sword and as she turned around extended the blade towards the presence. As it closed in on the target, a pair of red eyes appeared in front of the sword as dark green scales slowly materialized around the blade itself as if her weapon was becoming a giant snake which opened it's jaw to swallow the mysterious figure whole. Trying to trap the target, her snake coiled in itself, but quickly untangled itself upon noticing the attack missed.
"That was dangerous. I would've been in quite the predicament had that hit me. Still that's quite the powerful familiar you have there. I guess that's to be expected of the strongest witch in the land."
The direction of the voice came from the second floor balcony of the foyer. The voice belonged to a strange man wearing a traditional three-piece suit, with a black tie, black pants, and a black bowler hat. His most prominent features were his unusually pale skin, elf-like ears, and most strikingly red irises.
"Who are you?" Viola asked.
"Call me Ogre. I'm a traveling salesman." He answered as she took his hat off and bowed slightly.
"I know you. You're that man who helped me back when I was a child." Aya stated.
"It's been a long time Aya. It warms my heart to see you've grown into a fine young woman and you have such a cute daughter as well." He smiled.
The moment she was brought into the conversation, Dawn hid behind Viola.
Viola kept her eyes trained on the mysterious man. Normally she'd be able to sense the aura of any creature whether they were human or otherwise, but for some reason she couldn't sense anything from this man which made her feel uneasy. It was even stranger that Dawn's mother was acquainted with him, but from the way they were speaking that was some time ago. "So you two know each other? Any idea what he wants?"
"If I had to guess, he's probably here to warn you about something." Aya reasoned.
"You know me so well. I'm just here to give you some information." He stated.
Determining he meant them no harm, Viola snapped her fingers and her familiar disappeared into thin air. "So what did you want to tell me?"
"Since you defeated the demons and witches in the surrounding area it's left a power vacuum. Now monsters are rising up left and right trying to fill this void. The ones you dealt with recently were just the calm before the storm. Something big is coming, that is all I can say. Now that I've warned you, I should be on my way. Farewell." Leaving as quickly as he came, the mysterious man was gone. No trace of presence could be felt anymore.
"Is that strange man gone?" Dawn asked.
"Don't worry, he's gone." Viola responded.
"He's strange, but he's not dangerous. You're safe." Aya added trying to reassure her daughter.
Although she didn't show it, Viola was excited at the prospect that a worthy foe would reveal itself. Would it be a strong demon or maybe a witch with abilities equal to her own? Either way, it was a welcome change from the day to day small fry that were popping up lately. However, that would have to wait for today she was going to entertain her guests. "You both should come inside. I'll make some tea."
"Let's make some snacks too." Dawn happily suggested.
"Of course, you can show your mom how much you've improved." Viola responded encouraging her.
"I'm looking forward to it." Aya smiled.
Once they entered the house, the double doors silently closed behind them. While today seemed like it was going to peaceful, in the back Viola's mind she wondered just what tomorrow would bring.
AN: So, I decided to write an epilogue after all. I put it up quick so that I can officially declare this story complete. Most of the stories I'm subbed to are on indefinite hiatus and seeing as this is my most popular story on the site I wanted to at least finish it. That being said, I did leave the ending open for a sequel. So if I ever feel like coming back to this, I'll write that as one big story rather than update chapter by chapter as I have been. Thanks for reading and reviewing. It's greatly appreciated and I'll see you next time.
