"Pencils, binder, notebooks..." Looks like I'm ready for another day of school." I signed, throwing everything into my backpack. I'm usually upbeat when it comes to school, but it's the first day back and I spent all night reading and watching movies with Rachel.

"Sup Annie." My phone went straight to voice mail. "I'm parked in your driveway, and if you haven't noticed, NEW YORK IS FREEZING! GET YOUR BUTT OUT HERE, OR ELSE I'M LEAVING TO HELL WITHOUT YOU! Bye."

"Damn, Thalia." I laughed to myself, swinging the door open. "Can't wait for no one..."

"Finally!" She yelled, when I stepped in her car. "Billie Joe, has kept me company, what took you so long? Were you waiting for a boyfriend, cos that's not gonna happen anytime soon. Anyway, school starts in... HOLY SHIT, TEN MINUTES, WE GOTTA GO." Then stomped on the gas pedal.

"We're here!" Thalia yelled, shutting down She's A Rebel. I bet we broke at least ten rules, good thing we live in New York...

"Good, I'll get our schedules, you get us waiting in line snacks from the vending machine? Same as last year."

"Hell yeah, later Annabeth." She screamed out a battle cry. That woman...

"Um yes, Annabeth Chase and Thalia Grace." I told the woman who keeps charge of the schedules. Normally, they would make the person be in line to revive their own, but me and Shelly have a special relationship.

"Enjoy your year in Goode High." She winked. "There was a handsome boy here earlier, he's new, you might need to show him around."

"In your dreams Shelly." I smiled, walking into the building. "I'm just gonna stay single just like my mom."

"There you are Annie!" Thalia said with her mouth full of onion ring chips. "Schedule."

"Language Arts, Wilton. Science, Wood. Lunch. Health, Darcy. Greek, Wu. Math, Watson. And drama with Belle." I answered on the top of my head. "Now gimme my chips."

"Here. Do we have any classes together?"

"We have Wu and Darcy together... who signed you up for drama anyway? Dad?"

"Ugh, yes. He wants me to be something big, like my mom. " Thalia's mom was a famous actress and a major alcoholic. She died in a car crash a few years back, there was also something mentioned about a boy, but we pinky promised not to ever bring that up ever again.

"Knew it, come on, I gotta give Rachel her paint's back. See you in Darcy and Wu's."

"M' kay. Have fun, I'm off to reading." She waved. "I gotta meet up with someone before the bell rings."

Someone? Since when did Thaila started having more then one friend?
