I'm so sorry that I haven't posted in ages! This is the SAIGO! (final) CHAPTER EVER!
It's filled with mixed emotions and I have to admit it's really really confusing, but Lucy will explain everything at the very end!

Chapter 15: -Your World, My World, Our World (part 2)
Lucy POV (cont.)
The mysterious person held my arm. "Please… h-help me…" he said.
I blinked and blinked again. I couldn't believe it. Is this really him… What's he… how's he… I stood there confused, lost in my own world. What is he doing here? How is he really here?
I was about to ask him those questions but my lips quivered and my throat ran dry. I didn't know what to say, or even how to approach him. There's definitely something different about him, I just don't know what. How can I even approach him after what I've done.
~~~A few weeks earlier~~~ -Gray POV-
I walked home glumly. Lucy had been gone for ages and I didn't know where she was or even what she was doing. I miss her so much, but how could she just leave me? When I reached home, I fell onto the couch and laid there, not wanting to do anything, just lying there, thinking about what might actually be happening, where Lucy might be, what she might be doing, what she might be thinking.
I was about to leave the house until some strange force stopped me and I was dragged into a black void in the middle of nowhere. I just floated in the darkness, wondering where I was.
"Gray." I heard a voice that seemed so familiar, yet so distant.
"Who are you? What do you want with me?" I said in a demanding tone.
"I am Silver, your father." He replied.
"How can I believe you? You died! I saw you die!" I reply, my voice on an edge.
"Trust your father. I promise that everything will get better and Lucy will once again return to your side." the voice seemed sincere yet there was some underlying malice in it.
"If this will help Lucy return, then I'll go to the depths of hell and back just to see her again!" I said with so much loyalty that I would not falter.
After saying that, some strange aura was drifting around, before it turned towards me and rushed straight into me. I tried to scream, but whatever it was, it now had the control of my body. "I'll take control from here on son." came Silver's voice.
Now, I was some kind of puppet. Sitting back and watching as some strange force was controlling me. No! I didn't want this to happen! I can let him control me. Not after what I saw him do. Not after what he made me do.
A whole lot of things had happened and soon an uncontrollable desire had drifted into me. The want for destruction, the evil had somehow drifted into my broken heart and mended it with some strange need for something that I couldn't obtain.
Normal POV
Lucy was confused. She stared at the figure and the figure stared back at her. It's eyes were stone cold and it walked with a huge slump, as if it was showing it's sadness towards her.
"..Gray…" she whispered, "It's not true!"
"Hello, I don't believe we've met. You can call me Gray, but I think you already knew that." he said with a smirk spreading across his face.
"What have you done to Gray!" Lucy shouted with rage, her eyes became bloodshot and her hair becoming drained of colour. It was just like Gray's dream, except it was real. Lucy had lost control of her mental state. She was becoming insanely unstable and the battle was about to begin…
Demon Force! – an incredible power, both wielded it, both desired it, both cowered in fear before it.
What was really going to happen, if evil versed evil?
Lucy grabbed hold of Gray with so much force that the ground beneath them crumbled. Gray held his hands around her throat and throttled her with his strength. None of this could be avoided. No one could stop now. This was their painful truth where one had to die for the other to be satisfied.
Suddenly, a huge outside force came into sight. STOP YOUR NONSENSE!
Gray and Lucy both looked up at the same time. Lucy had her senses knocked back into her and she let go of her beloved, however, he beloved continued to strangle her.
"I-I'd r-rather d-die t-than b-be the o-one to k-kill h-him.." Lucy said with sadness in her voice, she had realised what was going on.
"Gray! Let her go!" shouted the outside force.
Lucy looked clearly and she saw, it was her comrades. Every one of them. All the Celestial Spirits and all the Fairy Tail members. They were caught in a magical moment. No one really knew if Fairy's had tails, but they knew for sure that nakama would always stay as nakama.
"Let her go!" Erza shouted.
Gray looked up at her and lowered his hands. He looked at Lucy and smiled. His smile wasn't the usual smile, it was one of hunger and immediately Lucy knew. This wasn't the Gray she knew, he had been robbed of his free will and his underlying desires had been free. He was being controlled by his insanity. Fear and love had left him.
"Gray… What happened to you?" Lucy asked with tears at the corner of her eyes.
"You! You filth! You destroyed my life! You don't listen to how I feel! You don't take into account how much you had left me into shambles! Now I've been truly reborn! Into something you're not! I'm going to kill everyone who ever wanted to see me suffer with you! I'm going to make everyone pay for what they did to me! And I'm going to start with you and your family!" Gray shouted, however, even though it was Gray's voice speaking, there was something definitely wrong with the way that voice was used. It wasn't the normal Gray they knew anymore, it wasn't that loving husband and caring friend. It was something way worse and now everyone there were going to be in for it.
Slowly, Gray's body was being covered in pure darkness. "We have to stop the darkness from within Gray's heart! It's not really him who's speaking!" Lucy warned, she quickly got into action, but instead of attacking him, she grabbed him into and embrace and tackled him to the ground.
With dark fists, Gray began bashing and hitting Lucy with violent punches and injured her with deep scratches.
Lisanna, Elfman and Mirajane began trying to hold him down and pry Lucy off him, but Lucy would not budge. "Lucy! You're going to die like that!" the siblings shouted.
"You don't understand!" Lucy shouted with tears dripping down onto Gray's unrecognisable face, "You have to let me do this! You have to show him that we're all truly nakama. That we're all truly friends and that we'll stand by no matter what happens. Everyone! Gather into a circle. Hold hands and think about all the memories you've had with Gray, whether they be happy or sad or just plain silly. Think about them. Share your emotions with him. He's been taken over by a strange entity and if we don't take it out of him, he'll grow dangerous, power will grab hold of him and slowly he'll die. Remember how much of a friend he's been to everyone, because deep down, you all really love him for who he is and what he's done for you!"
Listening to Lucy's command, everyone joined hands and thought about all the memories they had with Gray, whether those memories were private or shared, they all really understood and loved Gray for the person he was.
Slowly, Gray began to slow down and drifted off into a calm slumber. "I love you Gray! I'm so sorry! I've cause you so much pain, but you won't understand. We should never have been. This isn't the right story. We should never have met each other! All this hardship! All this challenge was because of me. Because I'm some wacky dark wizards sister and because I've cause you all this pain. You might not understand me now, but when I say we shouldn't go on, it's because I want you to stay alive, because Gray… I love you so much that I'd stay with you even after death, will we always be together." Lucy said, with so much sincerity that everyone around her had broken down.
Lucy, then, laid her forehead onto Gray's and kissed him with passion. With that brief amount of pressure, Lucy took away all of the darkness hidden within the depths of Gray's body and reminded him of all the fun, happy memories they had together. She wanted him to only remember the good things that they shared. She wanted him to remember her, because she was soon going to leave him and she didn't know what else she could do. Gray was everything to her, but this all happened to him because of her, so she had to let the chaos stop.
Lucy then turned black, the darkness seeped into her. All the brightness and love she had was given to Gray and all that remained of her was a mysterious dark being who would remain forever destroying everything she ever love. She had turned into Zeref and Zeref had finally left the world in peace.
Seven Years Later…
It had been seven years since Lucy had disappeared from the Celestial Spirit World. Everything had happened so fast that no one even understood what was going on. Everyone but Gray…
Gray was left with a small child when Lucy vanished. The girl's name was Gracie, she was a wonderful girl and took after her mother's beautiful image. She was like another Lucy. She was so happy and energetic.
Gray had gone to the guild with his beautiful daughter one day. He looked at her and she smiled, she loved her father and she wouldn't have it any other way. His daughter had beautiful brown eyes, she loved wearing the colour red and she would never wear her shoes. On this particular day, she wore a beautiful red dress that reached her ankles and her long raven coloured hair reached past her shoulders. She wore them the same way as Lucy, a red bow holding up the right side of her hair.
When Gray and Gracie had reached the guild, every guild member's eyes laid on her and smiled, greeting them with a lovely 'Good Morning' and they'd reply with the same energetic greeting. Immediately, the two went to grab a table and ordered breakfast from Mira. They both got a strawberry coolie and began their meal.
"Daddy…" Gracie began.
"Yes, honey." Gray asked while patting his daughter on the head with a loving smile.
"I want a mommy." Gracie said with so much demand that she nearly knocked her breakfast off the table.
"You have a mommy." Gray replied with a hint of sadness in his tone, "she just can't make it to be with you right now…"
"Why! Why doesn't mommy love me?" she asked with tears forming in her eyes.
"Your mommy does love you. She's just really busy saving the world." Levy said as she walked past the couple, "she loves you very much, but she loves the world just as much and to have you living in the world she treasures, she wants you to know that she'll keep it safe just for you."
Gracie nodded happily to that explanation and quickly finished her breakfast. She really, desperately wanted to meet her mother. She had no idea what her mother was like, she just had a few photos of her, but she wanted to know what her character was really like. She wanted to share precious moments with her mother. She loved her father, but she wanted to know what feeling it was like to have a mother to take care of her.
"Gracie… have I ever told you the story of how your mother and I became a couple?" Gray asked his precious daughter.
"You've told me many times. You've told me of all those journeys and different adventures you had with her. But, the way you describe her to be, is like she was some strange person who always ended up hurting people. Except at the end of everything she did… She'd always explain why she did what she did and that's because she wanted everyone to understand that she was a loving and caring person. That what she did was for the good of others and not herself. But I want to meet my mama. I want to know why she left this time and why she hasn't come back to meet me or why she hasn't come back to explain the importance of her leaving this time! I don't even understand how I'm here! You keep telling me that I was a magic gift from her, a child made from the love of two significant people…"
"Then trust her Gracie. Your mother loves you as much as I do. She might not physically be here, but she's in here and here." Gray said as he pointed to her head and her heart with a caring smile, "and before you know it, you'll be able to see all the work she's done for this world. For you!"
Lucy POV
"Can I finally return home!?" I said excitedly to the dragons soul, "am I finally able to see my beautiful daughter and my wonderful husband?"
"If that is what you wish." the dragons replied, "the evil that once bound your soul has now left and you are free to walk along Earthland without harming another soul. Your magic has become stable and you can securely use it to protect your loved ones."
"I cannot thank you enough! You saved not only my life, but the life of my loved ones down there. Thank you for teaching me the things that I needed to know to keep my sanity and my power from eating away at me." I said happily, before opening a portal to return home.
"But before you go, Lucy. Remember that we'll forever be here to help you." the soul of the dragon, Igneel, said before going to rest up in a star…
Normal POV
"Something strange is coming our way…" Natsu said loudly.
Everyone paused and stared towards the guild doors. Suddenly, they were flung open and a lone figure walked inside. "Who are you and what do you want!?" Gray shouted, with a protective hand, shielding Gracie.
The figure was wearing a long, blood red cloak. Underneath the cloak, was Lucy and her long red hair had changed back to blond, her eyes back to their original brown. She had her hair in a long ponytail and she was wearing a midnight black tank top and matching, midnight black short shorts. Her hair was tied with a black ribbon and she wore black boots that had red soles. She took strides towards Gray, before reaching out to grab Gracie.
Was this her daughter? She didn't know, but she could recognise that raven hair anywhere. "Hi, Gray. Nice to meet you… Gracie." She said shortly.
"What do you want!" Gray said on edge.
"I want your daughter." Lucy said.
Gray had slapped Lucy's hand away from Gracie. "Leave! My daughter doesn't talk to strange cloaked girls!"
Gracie looked up at Lucy, unaware of what's going on. The whole guild was on high alert, but Gracie didn't suspect any danger coming from the cloaked figure in front of her. She swerved around Gray's protective arm and went up to the figure.
"I'm looking for my mum." she said proudly.
Gray looked at her daughter with a stern look. She had disobeyed him and now she could be in potential danger.
"You're so cute!" Lucy said as she picked Gracie up and hugged her.
Gracie hugged her back, unsure of how to react. The guild was still in a defensive position, confused with what the situation really was. "Put Gracie down!" Natsu said with his hand aflame.
"Well, it's not like you have the power to stop me!" Lucy teased.
Natsu lost his patience and threw a punch at her, however, he wasn't quick enough to Gracie's defensive position over Lucy and inches away from punching Gracie in the face, Lucy quickly diverted the danger from her daughter by catching the palm and freezing Natsu's flame.
"What… just… happened?" Erza asked confused from the sidelines.
"Well, isn't this a jolly welcome back!" Lucy said happily, she lowered her hood and said, "TADAIMA! (I'm back)"
"EHHHHHH!?" was the reaction from the whole guild.
"Weren't you missing? Where've you been all this time!" many different questions were being thrown at her, but all Lucy really cared about was the little girl in her arms.
"Hello Gracie. Mommy has missed you so much! She loves you so much!" Lucy said, hugging her daughter tight.
"L-Luce!?" Gray said astonished that he could actually call her name again, "where have you been!?" Gray quickly added, before joining in the hug, a beautiful family reunion.
"Well… I don't know Gray. I remember a specific someone saying that I was out saving the world." Lucy said with a smile playing across her lips.
After a few hours of becoming a Fairy Tail member… AGAIN! (I haven't been counting but she's been leaving and returning to Fairy Tail for quite some time now ;D )
Lucy began to explain what happened. "Seven years ago, I went with my brother, Zeref, to explore another world. This world was beautiful, full of many things that you couldn't see here. I was there to begin my training. Slowly, the world I knew was becoming enveloped in evil. My soul had traces of dark magic, trying to eat me away. I didn't want this to happen, I wanted to stay pure and sane, so I asked Zeref to help me. He tried, then something horrible happened. I had been to late. That darkness had already been hidden in Gray, it was kind of given seeming so his father, Silver, was a demon slayer. After Silver transferred those powers to Gray, those powers were slowly eating at his soul too. I had never realised it had gone that far into Gray that he even lost control of his own body. I had to do something about it. So immediately, I went to try and help him. I was stopped by Zeref. I was wrong to look for my brother. He wasn't sane anymore and what he tried to keep was the darkness inside of me. I saw this as an answer, so I immediately begged my Celestial Spirits to put on an act and I made sure he was spying on me telepathically when I went to go and find out what was going on with the Celestial Spirit world. But in truth, I knew that Loki had taken Gray there and slowly, Gray was causing chaos to the world. Zeref had brought me back and with some pleading I got him to believe that I was actually going to investigate the mysterious force that had invaded the Celestial Spirit World, but in truth I was going to save Gray…
After Zeref sent me back, I made sure to block him out of that world. A few powerful runes did the trick and I could finally go and save Gray once and for all, but I had misjudged the power of the darkness that was slowly eating my beloved, Gray and soon I had but one chance to save him. I tried to suppress his power, by making the real Gray fight for control over his body, this was done by transmitting the memories and emotions of Fairy Tail into Gray and making him remember how much he really meant to all of us. Then, I did something dangerous, something that even the darkest wizard had feared to do. I transferred the darkness of Gray into my own body. It cause a lot of pain and emptiness. I had become unstable, I had become insane and I could no longer protect those I loved. So I left. Somewhere far far away and I made sure that no matter how insane and powerful I was, I would never be able to hurt those I cared for.
It took a lot of training and reminiscing to regain full control of my body again. It took a lot of contemplating for me to be able to regain my sanity and because of the help of all those who were trapped in a star and ready to return to Earthland, that I could finally return here and see my family again."
"Trapped in a star?" Lisanna asked with a hint of confusion.
"Those who are deceased, don't just vanish. If their soul is worth it, they become one with a star. Since we all once came from a star, we all can return and after a long process of regeneration and reincarnation, would we be able to be born again and return to Earthland once more, but as a different person with the same personality and love we had been given previously." Lucy explained, "so if anyone you've loved or come to love passes away, on a beautiful night sky, you look up and see them, looking back at you and encouraging you to live on for they will someday want to re-join you."
"Thank you… Lucy." Everyone in Fairy Tail said in unison, they were all thankful towards Lucy. She was a selfless, loyal friend and she had saved everyone that day.
"We all love you, mommy." Gracie said happily.
It really was a happy ending after all! :D
I know... confused and bad ending?
Sorry. I feel really bad! I took forever to update and now I give you a really bad chapter TT_TT
I tried my best to make it one of good standard but it's weird I know. I know my whole plot is weird, but I tried my best, this has been one of my favourite stories, especially Bound by Fate. So Fate Has Been Tugged is what I believe to be an awesome sequel.
I mean Gray and Lucy have a kid! XD
