This is a completely random one-shot that popped into my head. I don't own Percy Jackson. Have a nice day!
Percy was bored. Well, that was an understatement. He was on the verge of climbing to the top of the Big House and leaping off. That's how bored he was. He was waiting for something fun to happen, something that would make this waiting worthwhile.
He had found out something over the summer that was highly amusing, yet he didn't know what to do with this valuable piece of information. Percy gave a sudden grin as a plan began to form in his mind. This was going to be an interesting day.
Nico was also bored. He was already on top of the big house, wondering whether he should jump off. In the distance, he saw a figure emerge from the Poseidon cabin. Percy was running towards the Big House, with a maniacal grin on his face.
"Oh gods…" Nico muttered. He shadow-travelled down to where his crazy friend was stood, still grinning like a maniac. "Are you alright Percy?"
"What are you thinking about?"
Percy turned to look at him and the grin widened.
"Come with me."
A couple of minutes later, when Percy had explained his master plan, they stood in the edge of the woods, laughing.
"Okay, I'll do it." Nico shadow-travelled off to collect some things whilst Percy ran down to the lake. Running a hand through the water, he thought about Poseidon as hard as he could.
"DAD! I need you to come to Camp Half-Blood! There's an attack on the lake!"
With that he charged back off towards the woods.
Nico was standing there, holding a crate that was jerking about in his arms. He gave Percy a death glare.
"One of them has three ears and tried to eat my nose." Percy took one look at Nico and burst out laughing. He had fur all over him and little scratch marks all up his arms. "IT'S NOT FUNNY!"
They both waited impatiently for Poseidon and Hades to show up. Nico had dropped by the under-world on his way to collect what they needed.
There were two shouts as the Gods recognised each other. Percy distinctly heard his father say:
"I see no attack on the lake. Wait 'til I get my hands on the little-"
Both demigods looked at each other.
"Ready?" whispered Percy. Nico nodded, going pale. "Go!"
Nico charged around the side of the house. And straight into his father. Hades glowered down on him.
"WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?" Nico gulped, mumbled an apology and tore off round the other side of the house, both Gods in hot pursuit. They stopped short when they saw what awaited them.
"AARGH!" They both backed away as three little creatures advanced on them. Percy and Nico were laughing silently up a nearby tree.
Hades tried nudging one away with his foot.
"Please don't hurt me…" The rabbit looked up at him and hopped over to Poseidon, who was frozen in terror. They both looked into the woods as more and more bunnies advanced on them.
Both gods ran to the nearest tree and climbed into it, shaking with terror. Unfortunately, it was the one right next to where Percy and Nico were sat.
Both Gods slowly turned to face their sons. Poseidon gave his son a glare. Percy winced. Then he saw the one Nico was getting. He felt lucky. The boys looked at each other. Then at their fathers.
"You should run."
Campers turned to stare as the boys tore across the camp, followed by two VERY angry gods and a bunch of rabbits.
It was a great day.
