CURRENT STATUS (January 2024)

I'm currently working on editing 'A Hero's Last Cry'. The revised edition will be slowly updated as chapters are fixed. This story was completed several years ago and I've recently returned to the fandom and noticed I could've improved a few things. So, chapters will be taken down and re-uploaded as they're fixed.

'A Crown of Thorns' revision is finished. The chapters will be updated when I remember to update. It's a long story - the finished version is on A03 if you're interested.

About those accusations...

Sadly, there are some people out there that are convinced I am some strange crusty pedophile luring minors to a creative writing forum and discord. Apparently, the word 'roleplay' must always mean sex.

In short, I sent a bunch of invites around (as always) to join up. This one guy then decides to ask for a sexual online RP and offered to pay me over Discord. I said no and called him a creep - who does that? He got offended and thus started spreading silly rumours that I am a pedophile grooming minors. Some people really can't take no for an answer, I'm afraid. Sadly, now there's a group of these crazy people intentionally trying to defame me with these silly idiotic comments.

I'm now getting relentlessly stalked by AnotherJohnnyDeppUser. Have a chuckle at their reviews on 'Chains of Fate Revised' and several other stories of mine.

But no, I can 100% confirm I am not a pedophile. I'm a registered teacher and background checks are done.

Guess Whose Back? Back Again!

My name is AlaeMortis, and I have been part of the fanfiction.net family since 2006 under multiple different usernames.

My history is a colourful one. I've changed accounts multiple times. Deleted my stories multiple times. Re-uploaded my stories many times.

You're probably wondering, why did you quit? I've been around this site for long time, and I've experienced a lot of abuse and pain since my first upload back in 2006.

All part of the fun of having an online profile.

I left fanfiction.net again in 2015. Once again, I removed everything (though I saved all my reviews). I was broken. Exhausted. I lost my love and spirit for writing. But the worst part? I felt alone. Many of the writers I had befriended over the years had called it quits (and many of those stories can no longer be found too sadly). I figured it was time for me to move on as well.

It did hurt to take everything down - at my peak, I have over 400 fans. I had become a household name in the Beyblade fandom for writing humour/parody. I was well known in the Ice Age fandom for Diego/Shira stories. I achieved a great deal of things, and sometimes I do have regrets deleting all that history, but I wanted nothing to do with this site.

In 2017, something happened.

I found my love for writing again. I made new friends. I reconnected with old friends. Mentally, my mind was in a much better state, and remains in good spirits now.

So, here I am again (third time? fourth time maybe?). I'm re-uploading the better of my old stories, and fixing them up. I'll also be uploading some never seen before material too. I do not ever expect to reach my old numbers again, but my main goal is to share my ideas with fellow fans.
