Hello reader,
Would you believe that the last time I've updated this profile page was approximately 2 years ago? Yes, it astounded me too. :O
(Not that a lot has happened on my part. :P )
I am such horrible fanfiction writer, because the truth is - I don't really write them as often as I would like. I mean, the last time I've uploaded a fic onto this site was 3 years ago? Shockingly unbelievable.
The only reason why I even bothered to log in here again (after 2 years of inactiveness) was because of my current obsession with the tv show Glee. It is awesome! I love it very muchly. It makes my Thursday nights exciting, haha (I'm in Australia, and this show is on tv on Thursdays here). I love the songs, I love the dancing, I love the exciting storylines, I love the characters.
And so given my current love for Glee and the fact it only airs once-a-week, I decided to hop onto this lovely site and indulge my Glee obsession by reading fics penned by the writers on this site.
I'm a Will/Emma fan, so I'll most likely be spending much of my time reading those kind of fics... I really hope they officially get together in the tv show; they're so cute together! :) They make me smile.
Other obsessions I have are the Harry Potter series (duh, who doesn't? haha) and the Artemis Fowl series. I also like reading the Bartimaeus Trilogy too.
I also have an unhealthy obsession with chick-lit books, even though most of them are quite superficial and silly. Cue Bridget Jones series, Shopaholic series, the Princess Diaries series (and other books by Meg Cabot) and books by Cecelia Ahern.
I also adore books written by Jodi Picoult. They are amazing. I love them because they make me think and are so deep and philosophicalish, and are written about stituations that are challenging and exciting. (Though I admit most of her novels get pretty similar after a while.) I really enjoyed reading Nineteen Minutes.
I've been trying to get into the classics lately. I liked the Three Musketeers, which I read after a friend lended it to me. It's pretty long, and a bit boring at the beginning, but you'll love it soon enough. :) I've also tried to read books by Jane Austen, namely Pride and Prejudice, but I have had no luck lately... They're just really boring! (I'm sorry Jane Austen!) Maybe it's the language she uses; I mean the way they spoke/wrote back then is remarkably different to how we speak/write now... Oh well, I guess I should have another go at it sometime soon (it would then be my third time trying to read Pride and Prejudice, haha).
Hmm. A lot of my friends have been raving about the stories written by Matthew Reilly, so I guess I'll give his books a go too. ;)
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is a (semi-detailed) account of my reading habits. :)
While I'm on here, I would also like to add that I am addicted to the Professor Layton Nintendo DS games, so I'll be dipping in that fandom whenever it tickles my fancy.
I would like to write another fanfic someday soon, but just getting good ideas is difficult. If I do submit a fanfic, it would most probably be on Glee.
Still reading this? I would just like to applaud you for your good patience, for waddling through my ramblings... If you would like to read more of my oh-so-interesting ramblings, please do stop by my blog (leave a comment... they make me happy!) at http://. (Hahaha, shameless self-promotion, me? No way!)
That is all. :D Please feel free to add reviews on any of my fics below, no matter how old they are. :) I do appreciate (constructive) feedback!
Thank you for being so generous with your time,
Keikolilo
