Trying to piece together a profile... so bear with me here.

Minor Changes to what stories working on and actually ran my bio through spell check, I was amazed how many errors it had when I originally typed it up. Added a few quotes nothing major.

Hey I'm just a guy trying to find an output for all those crazy idea's swirling in my head. I've never been gifted in, drawing, writing or anything creative, but I try anyways because my head is always over flowing with idea's I can't do anything with. Now most my friends moved away and I can't play stuff like Dnd or Rifts anymore.. my creative nature is taking me to try writing a few fanfics. While I can pump out A grade reports like no ones business for social studies or English.. I've never been a creative writer.. when it comes to the creative novel/story type of writing. Still I've always had the idea's.. something came into play while being DM for table top RPG's. All I can say is, you can know your suffering is for a good cause, my sanity.

As the many voices in my head just won't shut up, I try to appease them with some fics, and you only have yourself to blame for reading them.

Hobbies: Video games, Collecting Swords, Dnd, Rifts, Online Rpgs, Warhammer 40k, reading, watching anime, Drawing and writing (although badly).

Major fanfic dislikes: Discontinued stories, just hate that so many great fics are left.. unfinished. Especially after they had already wrote 20k words before stopping. Good bad or horrible.. we always want an ending.

Time travel fics from some horrible future that spend almost every line in the past having the character thinking angsty and depressing thoughts about how horrible the future is if they don't change things. I am sorry but seriously what is the point of going back if you can't even be happy to see every one alive again? Who need to read about a guy looking at every little object in his life and having flash backs to how his friend was brutally raped, tortured and murdered? Worst part is in a lot of the stories, that is the ONLY original thing in the entire fic, usually follows the lines of the time traveler being to scared of changing things, so they do nothing different but think about how horrible things are going to be. I can understand some one being in shock for a little while, and perhaps more realistic if a 30 war veteran is like that even if they are sent back in time, but it just is not very interesting to read about for me.

Over use of memory charms in HP fics. Nothing worse then having people throw it around like candy to get people to forget or act the way the caster wants with no difficulty at all even against other adult wizards. Way to common in Dark Dumbledoor fics and I just can’t support the idea as believable. If memory and behavior charms were that easy that people could just waive a wand and make a whole room full of students, adult wizards and witches forget something or even alter their behavior NO one would be safe. Voldemort wouldn’t need death eaters or an army he just walk around turning people into his little slaves with few twist of his wand. It’s worse then the unforgivable mind control curse since that at least wears off and is easy to spot by their glossy eyes and and possible to resist. But not memory charms, even people with occulmancy shields or other such protections almost always go down like a wobbly table. It’s an over used plot device in almost all evil Dumbledoor fics and it has no way of being believable, in canon oblivate was mostly used on muggles who have no defense, that I could believe. But I have to believe wizards and witches would have some natural resistance to the spell or at least easy means of countering it’s effects, other wise people like Riddle or Fudge could rule the world with it a lot easier then all the death and destruction.

Male on male or slash pairings. I am not saying I hate the idea, or the people who live their life that way but I would rather not read about it. Most fics are nice enough to point out such a pairing from the start so it can be avoided but still. If the fact the male body does not appeal to me at all was not enough, the fact most the fics are the worst pairings you can imagine! Why are such a large number of slash fics about two people who hate each other like Naruto/Sasuke or Draco Malfoy/Harry Potter or even Snape and Potter? I can understand there are guys and girls out there find the idea of two guys attractive, but why do they seem to always go for people who can't stand each other? Not to mention several sections are nearly flooded with slash like Naruto, Yugioh and Harry Potter. Where if you read over the sections you'll find over 50 percent of them dedicated to such pairings. Some times I wish fanfiction.net among other places search engines could filter out these stories a little better.

Increased Evil, without increased response. If your going start making the bad people kill, rape, murder or other permanent effects, I just hate to see the normal weak Ranma 1/2 or Harry Potter result of letting them get away with it and struggling with the idea of killing the offender.

I especially hate rape more then anything though. It is seriously one the worst things you can do to some one, worse then physical torture or death. It can possibly be a great plot point to spur on the rest of the story. But in the Ranma and other fan fiction universe it seems far to many trivialize it and throw it around needlessly. I can't count the number fics that has Ranma-chan raped by Kuno or Harry sexually abused by the Dursley's, just to get Ranma to leave Nerima or Harry to further hate his childhood. Hardly a result worthy of such an event.

Ever notice how almost all Ranma fics only have a few solutions to his problems? Leaving the world/dimension so no one can track him down and permanently putting his enemies down with crippling or killing blows. I mean what some people won't mind putting Ranma threw, mind warping, curse locking, weakness point all types of enslavement and hell where there is no answer for Ranma beyond those two? The cast tend to be to stupid, to stubborn and to delusional to ever give up by normal means, especially the Amazons in most fics.

Ranma getting locked in his girl form, for almost no real reason. Especially if 'she' suddenly starts to like men. All to many fics have Ranma suddenly locked as a girl, then sleeping with a guy practically the next day. The same Ranma who's nearly conditioned against sex, who has had tons of girls throwing themselves at him for years with no response, gives in to first cute boy he comes across after years of liking girls? It just never makes any sense.

Another rather annoying dislike, especially in the case of Naruto fanfiction is where the character pairings take over the fic, and I am not talking about the main romance which or may not be the main plot of the fic. I'm talking about the authors need to match up every single character major or minor with some one else, even extending to pets or animals some times. The end result is either NOTHING happens in the entire story, accept perhaps vaguely following normal cannon events. Or all the relationships are forced and vague giving you no real feelings of attachment to any of them. So sad to see so many fair fics bogged down by the need to pair everyone up. No you can't just have a Naru/Hina fic so many authors feel the need to match up sasuke, Kiba, shino, Kak, etc as well. Even if they invest no time in explaining why such odd pairings might happen the authors feel the need to pair everyone up even if they are merely 'background noise' characters.

Also rather dislike the 'friends as kids but suddenly break apart' plot used by so many Naruto fics. It's rarely ever a happy thing, usually around being best friends as a kid with some girl, then she starts treating him like trash or ignoring Naruto. Then he always has to forgive them later and fall in love built up on that 'friendship'. Most common in Sakura, Ino or multi pairings.

The Harry Potter universe is also another touchy subject. As much as I love the idea of magic, and most the characters. The series is seriously flawed, and seems the world is doomed to destruction if you think about it to much. First off you have Voldemort, big evil wizard terrorist that no one seems to be able to stop. Ignoring him and his followers you also have a corrupt, and ineffective form of government that can barely control school children and track underage magic, let alone stop real criminals. Who seems to have a policy against non-magic people that’s slightly above dirt.

They can't protect the 'muggles' from Voldemort, and what do they do? They mind wipe and cover up the attacks so they won't 'panic' and actually defend themselves. They care more about their secret, then they do about the lives of thousands of non magical people, who have no defense against torture and abuse from dark wizards. Best summed up in that fic Ranma 1/2 xover fic where the entire world contracted a hybrid gender switching virus that released all the memory charms and such. Imagine how many minor dark wizards rape, torture and kill muggles then just wipe their minds.

Lastly you have the side of 'light'; which frankly are a few cards short of a full deck. The leader, is either incompetent or evil himself. Willing to give death eaters another chance, always against killing people no matter how many lives they have ruined. Always turning them into the ministry despite fact it's corrupt and they almost always get off scott free, or break out of prison.

Not to mention the wizarding world seems to be about as smart as a loaf of bread. Willing to believe anything they read or hear from their incompetent leaders, never once thinking for themselves. Their newspapers put tabloids the national inquire to shame, and they believe it! In the end, it's very hard to not see doom for the HP universe no matter what changes an author makes. Even if Voldemort is defeated, the Hogwarts is just a little breeding ground for Dark Lords, even beyond Slythern house. It teaches how to hate your fellow students for no reason at all, and that it's okay to break the rules long as you don't get caught. Why they encourage the hatred between the Slythern and Gryphendor houses I will never know.

Guilty Pleasures, a Love Hina fanfic

Update 8/07/07: Yes I am still alive and I don't plan on leaving this fic dead. However I have been distracted by other animes lately, especially Naruto and Ranma fan fiction. I feel the need to try my hand at one those, also perhaps one that is less Romance driven as well.

Basic idea is a what if Keitaro, Tsuruko and Motoko met early, what if Tsuruko came to check on Motoko's progress then. Currently working on the dialog (and explanation) heavy prologue 3. I hope to stick with my update schedule of once a week. But this chapter might test me on this.

And for those you maybe wondering why prologue 3 instead of chapters? Well simply put I filled out a lot of my outline earlier, starting chapter 1 with their fight. Later I decided it would solve a lot of my problems if they met early.. so I had them meet early. Instead of changing all the headings of my outline, I just added prologues! So there you go.. the method behind the madness.

As for pairings I plan for both Motoko and Tsuruko to get closer to Kei, as far as final pairings go I’m not sure how it will turn out. Except of course my dislike Naru’s abusive nature, so I highly doubt her ;) I'd say more.. but hey I don't want to spoil it for you.. (Hey it's not that I don't know, honest!)

Title Death Dealer, A Naruto Yugioh cross over

This story is to be a card master Naruto setting. The basic idea will draw greatly from Yugioh or other CC games, the concept of having cards that can be used to produce attacks and monsters but it is my hope to include very little or no influence from the Yugioh show itself. No pharaoh showing up to bestow Naruto with power, no finding of a millennium item etc. Just Naruto cobbling together some chakra powered cards to pull of ninja effects through complex research of summoning, seals and what not. If there ends up being any direct Yugioh influence later in this story it most likely end up being the girls or female monsters, if for no other reason because they are hot and I am always a sucker for making the main character getting some hot girls in the end.

Title Unknown, A Naruto/Pokegirl?/others Xover

The general plan is a Naruto Multi Xover, which features Naruto! Heaven forbid a Naruto cross over not include half of the rookie 9 or Sasuke! I am not really sure where the final destination of this fic will be or what sources I will cross over with. I just plan on trying to make a Naruto cross over that breaks the rut I have seen in Naruto xovers where they feel the need to include the entire team 7 or more with Naruto. It's just not fair that Sasuke, Kakashi, even Sakura can hop dimensions on their own, but almost every Naruto xover that includes the shows namesake includes so much baggage.

More then likely most the pokegirl part will appear on media miner due to the lemon scenes. But I really feel the need to write this fic as well. I feel the pokegirl world has huge amounts of untapped potential for great plot, which is often ignored for pointless lemon scenes. Sure the world revolves around sex. But I have always been little disappointed how almost no pokegirl fic is completed, and most make no progress one way or the other. The corrupt pokegirl world is always portrayed as a doomed civilization asking for extinction imo, especially those fics where the illegal organizations casually turn men into pokegirls. Despite the fact the pokegirls already outnumber men so greatly. I never really wrote any lemon scenes, but I have always had a healthy male imagination so I hope I don't do to bad and I hope to make a rare Pokegirl fic with real plot.

Title Unknown a Harry potter songfic! Hopefully up for adoption by some other author

Well the basic idea is a Bellatrix/Harry songfic based around the Abracadabra song by Steve Miller. What can I say my imagination just see's them a former or current death eater and savior the world dancing some sexy dance at the Yule ball or something while the wizarding world practically faints at a muggle song that makes fun of the killing curse. Sadly I have no skill what so ever in writing a song fic, so I just hope some one else is willing to pick up this idea some time.
