Jaune Arc is dead. During the battle for Haven, Jaune and Cinder killed each other, with Jaune being the last one standing with those two. He feels that he avenged everyone who died, and felt that he did the right thing for the friends and family, and everyone on Remnant. He was ready for the afterlife.
