G'day all!

I'm Kezz, I'm from Australia, and before you ask, no we do not all go around wresting crocs and riding kangaroos. In fact, some city slickers haven't even seen them in the wild!

My home is Mackay in North Queensland - just minutes away from deserted beaches and less than an hour from the Whitsunday Islands, Great Barrier Reef or Tropical Rainforest (eat your heart out people!). I've lived there my whole life, except for the last 8 months - I am currently living in Melbourne, studying Medicine and Monash University. I love the study, but I miss the country and the wide, open SPACE that I've grown up with.

I'm really anti-social - I hate parties, despise shopping, refuse to get dressed up all pretty, I dont drink and have never been clubbing (I dont understand the fun in it). I turned 18 a couple months ago... and spent the entire day studying for an exam.

I have lots of hobbies: reading (John Marsden, Jodi Picoult, Bryce Courtenay, and medical textbooks to name a few), playing musical instruments (clarinet, alto clarinet, bit of flute) and listening to music, reading fanfic (of course!), bickering/debating (not arguing, lol Bones), writing (most of it stays in my head though), RIDING MY MOTORBIKE, camping, photography, art (charcoal), and bing different.

Being different - I try to do/wear/be something that breaks stereotypes every day. I'm a shy, quiet, overweight 1st year med student who doesnt like breaking rules (unless there is a good reason) and suffers from Bipolar type 2 and an Anxiety disorder. Soooo... I wear black clothing with random rainbow things - knee high rainbow socks (I have 2 draws full), headbands, belt etc (I look like some wacky cross between a goth and a rainbow). I have 4 piercings in each ear (getting another 2 sets soon) and a labret (chin piercing). I do things backward from everyone else, I sing in public (even though it freaks me out) and I'm into all things considered 'manly'. Oh yes, and I got an orange stethoscope and put rings of black electrical tape on it - now its a TIGGERSCOPE!

I've always wanted to do Medicine - except for when I was three and I wanted to drive a road train (massive truck with 3 full size trailers). I am hoping to go on and either do Neurosurgery or Forensic Pathology (very different fields, I know). Whatever happens, I'm definitely gunna be chopping things! I've never been a girly girl - right from the get-go I was into trucks, cars and playing in the mud. I have worn 1 dress in the past 10 years, and that was only under threat of death, I dont own any makeup and I wear guys clothes.

I've had heaps of pets over the years, at the moment I have 2 dogs back home (who are rotten little sods, but I miss them nonetheless) and my bird here - shes a white cockateil called DONUTS (the next one's gunna be Drumstick). My favorite memories are most definitely of camping trips we've been on. The best bits are 1) at night time, in my swag under a gun tree - the sky is filled with stars and the wind in the trees is beautiful, and if ya really lucky, you're near the ocean, so you can hear the waves breaking on the shore and 2) dawn - when the magpies start to warble, the sun is just beginning to rise, the only other sounds are little animals and the ocean. OH, and also when everyone is around the campfire together, chatting or singing and roasting marshmellows. I LOVE IT! Another favorite memory is, of course, riding my motorbike. Except when I flip it - that hurts (how does one flip a QUADbike multiple times?).

I LOVE BONES. Simple as that. I love it. It's so different from other crime shows, and I actually learn some anatomy stuff from it. And of course, Booth is drool worthy and BB are hot. Also love City Homicide and Kath & Kim (Australia), NCIS, Crimminal Minds, House MB, Life, Ugly Betty, Prison BreakBoston Legal and a stack of other stuff. Oh, and I'm going to marry Wentworth Miller.
