I have been an avid reader on FF for about five years now, without actually posting any of my writing. Well, that's not true. I tried several times but saw that I fell into the same pattern for each fic. I believe that each fic needs to have individuality; there has to be a special quality that reaches toward the reader.

I want my fics to be the kind I would read, and, I am very picky about what I read. I have read so many gripping fics; I have read even more ‘eh, okay’ fics. I just want to fall somewhere neatly between those categories.

I am a reader first and a writer second. I love having a good fic to read, without the pressure of reviewing, just for the simple joy of reading. I am not writing for reviews. I do not want to burden the reader; my job as a writer is to entertain. People tend to leave bogus reviews like, “Great job.” when an author demands reviews. If I only get one or two meaningful reviews, I am happy with that.

My goal for the year is to have at least five oneshots posted. I am a bit inconsistent with lengthy chapter fics and have decided that maybe oneshots would be best. I have a special fondness for one shots; they are usually the better written of most fics (except drabbles; I LOVE drabble fics). So, I am revamping my stories into oneshots, long oneshots.

I love talking to other writers/readers about anything, so feel free to PM anytime!
