Hello everyone! I don't have much to say except...

I love to read and write, although, I believe I am a much better reader than writer. I am not a very critical reader. I read more real novels with bindings than I do fan fiction, but either way I don't go out of my way to be nitpicky about characterization, plots, and when it comes to fan fiction I can ignore most grammatical and typographical errors because I am prone to making them myself. So, if you want me to read something, unless I am your beta I will keep my comments to what I like about your story, unless I have a question or you contradict yourself, then I might ask for clarification. That being said, I am the type of writer who likes the same courtesy. The world of fiction means OOC, AU, etc., therefore since none of us are JKR our Snape may be a little too nice or our Harry might be a little too smart. It is not my place, or anyone else's, to disagree with what a writer is doing with their story. Either you like it, or you don't. I don't like everything I read and I don't expect everyone who reads my stuff to enjoy it. I guess the main purpose of that whole rant was that we should be respectful of each other's creative vision and save our flames for bonfires on the beach.

Please check out my favorites to find some good stories. I really ought to update my list. It has been awhile since I have read a lot of fan fiction. Like I said, please recommend me some good stories! My favorites are SS/HG, or DM/HG, I am not adverse to same sex pairings at all, and find some of them very tastefully written. I am not a fan of Ron with Hermione. I don't mind them starting together and then breaking up, but I think that was the worst pairing ever.

I am free to beta, not just Harry Potter, although that is all I write in, and love to do it! Also like to shoot the breeze and swap stories, and generally get to know people so drop me a PM if you have the inclination.
