Hello and welcome to my page! I was once Countess Sasha the Weird, but changed my name when I discovered I love to play the violin! Though I'm really not good at all as I have just started learning. :D (be prepared for a lot of smileys, and if you don't like them, too bad, cause I do) Okay, moving on. My name is Rachel (or Sasha if you want to use my nickname), and I am the fifth of a six kid family, four older brothers and a little sister to be exact. I am homeschooled with the rest of my family, and I have been all my life (excepting half a year of third grade :D). I love to read fiction. That's what I do.

My favourite book of all time has to be Crown Duel, by Sherwood Smith. But some of Jane Austin's work comes close. And the Shannara series by Terry Brooks. And the Books of Pellinor by Alison Croggon. And far too much more to type without immediately turning people away by the length of the list of books.

I do write a little fiction, and if anyone is curious enough about it, just tell me and I'll post the revised version on fictionpress where I have the outdated, mistake riddled version. I'll just say it's about a girl who finds a very peculiar bird outside her window one day. Does that catch your interest?

So far all the fanfiction I write is just Crown Duel stuff, but perhaps with a great deal of persuading, or just a passing fancy, I might write for something else. :D Now my favourite fics are probably Battle of Brimstone Hill (a PotC fic) and I Would do Anything (a Crown Duel fic) by Arquenniel, and Of Men, Elves, and Snowballs (an LotR fic) by Evergreene. Those three are great, and I would suggest them to anyone who likes those three movies/books! :D

This is my favorite quote ever: "Those who say words will not hurt them have never been hit over the head with a dictionary." But I don't know who it's by! I shall just leave it as 'Unknown" 'cause it is! By me anyways... If you have a good quote you wish to share, please tell! :D

I find it quite annoying when author's start a fic, but don't finish it, and don't say that they don't intend to finish it. I am aware that there are some out there who believe I am doing this with my current story, bt I'm not! This is the first real bit of time I have had for writing since the school started, so bear with me! There might be lengthy delays between updates! Sorry for any inconvenience!
