I'm currently thinking about becoming a thriller writer, so I figure what better way to practice than here?

My fics serve three purposes: first, the training. I treat my fics like a writer treats his books, and that means being serious about how they are presented, so I do everything I can to make them an enjoyable read free of writing errors and bad dialogue. So this is good practice for learning how to write.

Second, I want to educate and teach. There's a lot of controversial topics out there that, while undoubtedly dangerous, are still fascinating to average citizens. I'm particularly fascinated with what I've labeled "Forbidden Knowledge," which has to do with knowing certain skills and methods that can make a person dangerous. This can be anything from knowing how to fashion a fake hotel room key, to knowing the proper methods of interrogation by torture, and special techniques found in various martial arts styles.

Third, because it's just so much damn fun.

Right now I'm busy writing a series of fics about Sasuke called the Ninja Assassin Trilogy. The first fic has been completed, and the second fic, "Fatal Error," is finally being posted. It's an AU set of fics, taking place in the real present-day world, and all the characters (while staying mostly the same) have been given their own identities that stray just slightly from the original manga (Sasuke is just as dark as ever, Naruto is still his old loud self, and Sakura is...well, Sakura is at her prime.)
