HI, all! I am voracious reader – that is why I joined FanFiction.net, so I could read all I wanted! Well, at least all I had time to read, anyway. I do have to teach, and grade papers sometime! I encourage my students who are serious about writing to write on fanfiction.net, as well. I figure that the best way to get good at something is to practice it.

Besides being a teacher in junior high, I am a wife and mother. My husband is one of my best friends, as is my adult daughter, Chriss.

As a family, our passion is rescuing dachshunds that have been abused and finding them good, loving homes. My avatar pic is one of our rescues, Punkin. She is growing old, but will never grow up because her first owners kept her collar too tight. I kept her because I fell in love with her, and my husband fell in love with Buddy, his very first dachshund rescue. Buddy had been kept in a garage chained up for three years. We have a 100 match-rate; 100 of the people who take dogs from us love them and keep them!
