Boooom *

Jayce was sent flying to the top of the hexgate tower, his body slamming against the cold metal surface. The impact rattled his bones and knocked the air from his lungs. He gasped, forcing himself onto his hands and knees. Exhaustion and betrayal weighed on him like a crushing force, as relentless as the howling winds above Piltover.

Looking around, he found himself surrounded by Viktor's robots, their faceless heads fixed on him, motionless. He then turned his gaze to the sky, darkened by stormy clouds, and spotted Viktor in his new form, illuminated by the lightning that struck above him.

As Viktor raised his staff, the wild rune embedded within it shot up into the stormy clouds. As it disappeared, a distortion rippled through the very fabric of reality.

Several shiny tendrils slithered down from the clouds like snakes towards Piltover, connecting to the heads of the people below. As they latched on, their eyes turned white, their mouths hung open, and their minds fell under Viktor's control to start "evolving " them into his robots by taking away their free will and humanity.

Jayce watched the horror unfold before him—this was the very future he had fought so hard to prevent. And now, it was happening right before his eyes. He had failed. He had failed to stop it, and it was all his fault.

If he hadn’t let fame and power blind him in his pursuit of prosperity and technological advancement for Piltover… If he had heeded Professor Heimerdinger’s warnings… If Hextech had never been invented in the first place… none of this would have happened.

But what he regretted most wasn’t just his mistakes—it was betraying the very cause of his closest friend. Viktor had only ever wanted to improve the lives of the people of Zaun, to bring progress and prosperity to the undercity. And Jayce had forgotten that. Damn it all! Why did things have to end like this?

As Jayce was lost in his thoughts , Viktor appeared behind him in a flash, his hand slowly reaching for his friend's head. He would show him that this was the only solution to end the world's suffering.

Humanity's free will is what corrupted this world, when he finally take away their free will , he will evolve them .

they will no longer be chained by their thoughts and desires , They will become one mind , they will_

"Umm, excuse me..." Viktor's thoughts were interrupted by an unfamiliar voice.

Strange , he was sure no one was here except him and jayce . As he looked behind him , he was met with an unexpected sight , it was a bald man wearing an all yellow jumpsuit with a white Cape and a pair of red cloves, but what caught his attention the most was his neutral and expressionless face , it's like he was oblivious of what was going on around, or maybe he simply didn't care .

"Uuh, sorry if I'm interrupting something," the bald man said, his voice casual. "I'm kinda lost here. Can you tell me which way is City Z? And what's going on here? Why is that guy hurt?" He pointed toward the dazed Jayce, who was still trying to regain his bearings.

Jayce, hearing the commotion, glanced behind him as well. His body was still aching from the impact, but the unexpected voice made his breath hitch. Who else was here?

His eyes widened as he saw the ridiculous figure standing there—bald, clad in an unimpressive yellow jumpsuit, a white cape draped over his shoulders, and red gloves that barely seemed worn. But the strangest thing wasn’t the outfit. It was his face. Completely blank. Emotionless. Like none of this chaos around him mattered.

Jayce’s mind struggled to catch up. Was this some kind of delusion from the pain? Or was this real? How had someone even made it up here in the first place? The Hexgate tower was high above the city, and the only ones present had been him and Viktor.

Viktor narrowed his golden eyes behind his mask, his expression faltering in confusion. How did this man get up here? This was supposed to be a sacred moment—an irreversible shift in the world’s future. His focus returned to Jayce for a brief moment, his hand still hovering near his former friend's head.

Whatever, Viktor didn't want to waste time so he telepathically commended four of his robots to subdue the bald guy. Two pairs of robots that stood on both sides of the stranger swiftly moved toward him. Two grabbed his arms from behind, while the other two reached out to restrain him further. One robot reached for the man’s face, its cold, lifeless fingers brushing against his skin. As it made contact, the doll began fumbling, trying to force the man into submission, aiming to paralyze him.

""Uuuuuh..." the man muttered, clearly confused. To Viktor's surprise, the robot's touch seemed to have no effect on the newcomer. Instead, the man’s face twisted into irritation as the doll fumbled with his neutral expression, failing to hypnotize him. "OI, KNOCK IT OFF!" the man shouted in frustration . "QUIT FUMBLING WITH MY FACE , DAMN IT !!!"

The robot restraining his left arm couldn’t stop him as the man quickly raised his arm and slapped the robot across the face. The robot shattered into pieces, and the one holding his arm was sent flying. The remaining two robots were sent skidding backward, the shockwave from the slap knocking them off balance as they crashed against the metal surface.

Both Jayce and Viktor's eyes widened in pure shock. The sheer force behind that single slap had caught them completely off guard. How was that even possible? These robots were designed to be nearly indestructible, yet this strange man had just shattered one like it was made of glass—without even trying.

The bald man, now free, looked slightly nervous as beads of sweat formed on his forehead. "Uh… sorry about that," he muttered, rubbing the back of his head. "Didn’t mean to go overboard." He glanced at the robot's broken pieces scattered around, then hesitated. "Uh… those things aren’t expensive, are they? 'Cause I don’t think I can afford to pay for the damages right now ."

Jayce nearly smacked his own forehead . That’s what he’s worried about?!

"...Who are you ? '' Viktor finally asked , his voice cold and mechanical .

"Uh, me?" the man replied with a shrug. "Name's Saitama, and I'm a hero for fun."
