WIP: Turn on the Light

Currently have about 12 chapters planned and we'll see where it goes from there. It was a kind of specific plot idea I had and tried to track down a story that someone else may have written. Not having found one I decided to write it myself.

I have read a lot of Fan Fiction and have naturally drawn a lot of influence from the phenomenal writers out there. While I don't intentionally use anyone's ideas and won't intentionally do so without crediting where it's due, there's so many ideas out there that are Fanon at this point. There's a great post on r/HPfanfiction that discusses this very topic. It was pretty illuminating how certain ideas have become ingrained in Fan canon to the point where I just assume them while reading new stories.

Ideas like:

Sirius Orion Black

Potter Manor

Daphne Greengrass, Ice Queen of Slytherin

The Tempus charm

Goblin Nation

The Potter's leaving a will that was sealed.

Magical cores

etc, etc.

If you think about it you may easily come up with others too. All I can do is thank all the authors who put out some amazing fan fiction. Whoever was first with these ideas, you're a Rockstar!
