the best character: bo... FOR VERY OBVIOUS REASONS

other good characters: general lee, daisy, cooter, flash, (jesse and enos are ok ig)

the worst character: luke

other bad characters: boss hogg, rosco, cleuts

fav season: 1

the best episode: my son bo hogg

other good episodes: all episodes from season 1-4 accept for "ba ba black sheep" i hate that episode and if you cant guess why you need a head exam

least fav episodes: season 5 episodes 1-18, 'ba ba black sheep', 'new deputy in town', 'the fortune tellers', 'how to succeed in hazzard', 'robot p coltrane', and 'strange visitor to hazzard'

about 80% of questions u ask me will be answered with 'bc of my mom' (fuck that bitch shes an asshole!!!)

YALL MFS WHO SAY LUKE IS BETTER THAN BO READ THIS:

luke is a better fighter, but that doesn't mean bo can't handle himself (as some people like to say)
bo is a better driver, but that doesn't mean that luke can't drive (as i am tempted to say)
irl tom was better at the fight scenes and john was a better driver so on these accounts, they're even.

I personally think bo is better looking, but that is a matter of opinion so that doesn't count

but, when it comes to personality, luke is an absolute sob, and bo is a nice guy.
yeah, bo's a little full of himself, but all of the dukes are.
sure, luke may come up with all the plans, but does that make bo stupid? i don't hear anyone calling jesse or daisy stupid for not coming up with plans.

everyone always says bo's the one getting em into trouble, but cooter and daisy get the dukes into much more trouble than bo does
cooter always tell the baddies who the orange car belongs to, where they live, etc.
daisy is quite naive, for example: mrs. daisy hogg, state of the county, diamonds in the rough, sadie hogg day, duke of duke, etc. (not hating on daisy, you've gotta give her credit for "cletus falls in love")
also, getting framed by boss hogg is no ones fault, and thats where the trouble starts for the most part

ill admit that carnival of thrills wasnt one of bo's finest moments, but he and luke were both wrong in that case... bo fell for dianes little plot, and luke (borrowing his own words) 'spoke out of turn'. as usual he was much too hard on bo. but yes i will admit that bo didnt think about his decisions much and he let his pride run him in carnival of thrills, but luke certainly didnt help matters by calling him stupid several times, by not letting bo learn for himself, and for in general being too hard on him (as usual) jesse even called luke out, shouting at him and explaining how it was both bo and luke's faults. and in the end bo came clean about the fact that he'd been wrong, and luke also apologized for going over the top, and bo still did the jump to save diane's carnival even after everything that happened... thats a lot better than how luke treated his girl in lukes love story.

but everyone who wants to talk about carvival of thrills can be kindly reminded of lukes love story, and of brotherly love when luke's plan completely failed, bo had to do everything, and luke left the fuckin hospital only to make the whole situation worse. im just sayin that everyone always wants to focus on bo's mistakes and cover lukes up, as if luke is perfect and bo is stupid.

even waylon himself who's always picking on bo said: "bo ain't short of neither guts or brains" and there is the proof right there: luke is the ass for always calling bo stupid when even ol waylon himself said that bo aint short of brains

also in carnival of thrills luke said "only a fool'd make a jump like that" and then by the end of the episode he's riding shotgun to the 'fool stunt'... the one that bo was completely capable of doing. luke only rode along for the jump to make himself look good, to get some of the glory... or maybe i could believe that he wanted to do it for fun... maybe i could believe that... but after everything he said to bo? after calling him stupid for wanting to make the jump and then going along with it himself? im just.. there are no words... i could go on for fucking hours

im not denying that bo gets em into trouble sometimes, but bo and luke pretty much equally get them into trouble.
In "one armed bandits" bo and luke both have the idea simultaneously to highjack the fertilizer truck with the slot machines, and then when it upsets jesse, luke blames the whole thing on bo... that is a common theme, and i believe the reason why everyone thinks bo is dumb: luke always blames their equal mistakes, or his own mistakes on bo, and the audience just sides with luke. bo always sighs or rolls his eyes, but he never properly defends himself against luke's accusations, probably because he knows luke would become annoyed or shout at him (or because theres simlpy no time in the episode)... if anything Luke is the one who's really full of himself: nothing can ever be his fault, it always must be blamed on bo, even if it was both of their faults or just luke's fault.

one time luke 'fixed' the general lee last night, and it was running badly, causing them to be caught... that was never blamed on luke, it wasnt blamed on bo for once, but it wasnt blamed on luke. if bo ever makes a mistake the world news is notified. i bet luke blames bo for the sinking of the titanic.

also waylon just loves to beat up on bo for no reason... in "bad day in hazzard" bo and luke were going down into a cellar and he said "i bet there's spiders in there bo"... like wtf waylon... there is NEVER any evidence of bo being afraid of spiders... sure he was scared when there was a fucking rattle snake within inches of his leg while he was driving, but he also fought an alligator.
also in "bad day in hazzard" bo punches out one of the crooks at the end, and waylon says "ya know thats the first thing bo's done right all day" WTF waylon? he made one mistake earlier when he messed up taking down the criminals when they were getting out of the car, but thats it... the rest of the time he was doing gr8.

luke is an absolute hypocrite, and if u want the evidence watch my YT vid "dukes of hazzard: i can't do this anymore" or ya know, watch the show? swamp molly is a gr8 example of what a hypocrite luke is. one armed bandits is another good example too.

another thing that drives me insane is in "treasure of hazzard" bo saves luke's love interest by wrestling an alligator and all luke can do is jokingly call bo ugly... there are no words...

and luke is an absolute ass to women, just watch luke's love story and you'll see what i mean (yes bo also makes a mistake in that episode, but he comes clean about it, and how was bo s'posed to know that luke was gonna throw the race to the girl to try to make her not hate him for being an asshole?)

also in "witness for the persecution" bo and luke duck down in the general to avoid getting shot, and bo mentions that he hit his head on the steering wheel, and luke mumbles "that oughta last"... wtf... no words... BO DUKE IS NOT STUPID!!! (altho he has done three stupid things over the whole show) just bc luke makes the plans does not mean that bo is stupid... like i said before, is anyone calling jesse or daisy stupid for not making plans? um let me think... NO!
also luke was in the marines, and bo wasn't... so naturally luke is gonna be better at planning stuff out... and bo was probably getting lots of driving practice in while luke was gone so, everything makes sense.

and its not like bo never contributes ideas, there are several episodes i can name off the top of my head: big brothers duke, too many roscos, shine on hazzard moon, the great hazzard highjack, share and share alike, rip henry flatt, the meeting, the hack of hazzard, get the idea? if ya want more lmk and i will make an entire youtube video!

sometimes when bo goes to do a jump luke grimaces or rolls his eyes or says 'i hate it when you do this'... but then they get away cleanly... luke, sometimes ya gotta stfu

and its not like luke's plans never fail! here are some episodes that i can name off the topa my head where luke's plan fails: ghost of general lee, targets daisy and lulu, canterburry crock, brotherly love
bo had an idea once, to reverse the general to shuck the crooks or smthn like that... when it didn't work, waylon said sarcastically "great plan bo"... he is allowed to make a mistake, am i wrong? no one ever says that when luke's plan fails!

in "cale yarborough comes to hazzard" bo starts to say what his idea is, and luke interrupts him and wont even let him talk... no words...

another time in "return of hughie hogg" bo and luke were both fighting one person each, lukes guy was about the same size as him and bo's guy was bigger than bo... when they were done fighting but one of them picked their gun back up, luke said 'if you wouldnta took so long..." luke stfu! bo decked him in the same amount of time as luke took his guy... and the guy was bigger than bo! and also bo's not an x boxer like luke is.
